Her body once again shook with sobs and she clung onto him like a lifeline.

Kurama held onto her as well, "I have no idea why or how he did that to you, but I plan on finding out."
He stroked her hair, trying to calm her down.

She let out a shuddering breath, and did not seem to want to leave his comforting embrace. She didn't even hear what Yaru had said.
"Thank you..."
She remarked quietly, trying to stop her tears.

"It is, thank you."
She stepped away from him and seemed to remember something.
"And you can thank Hiei that I'm not passed out from blood loss on the floor of my dojo. He claims he only stopped me and helped me so he wouldn't have to sit through a boring lecture from you."
She giggled a little and sat down on her bed.
