Desert Town
Kuro flinched slightly. He thought he was alone, the fact that someone was there, possibly watching him, sent a small shiver down his spine.
"Ah... um, maybe you can help me navigate this place. I usually follow my nose, but there are so many different plants here. I'd need a byakugan to keep from getting lost." Kuro eased up a bit. He was extremely comfortable for the first time in a while, now that he was around all these plants.
"I'm looking for... any medicinal plant, maybe even some toxic ones."

Hinata-sama ~*~On the beach:Nadia~*~ It takes a lot to see through strong jitsus. Also, there is a special bond between partners like Ran and yourself, just like Boris and I. That bond allows such jitsus to be stronger, since da transformation is not illusion, its real. You will learn, no worries. But for now, we have a team building exercise for you and Ran. Miraji nods. " Okay. We're ready!" she calls out. Ran barks in agreement.

"Hmm.. Good day, Buki-teacher." Humbra turned and began towards the doorway. Then he stopped to turn and talk to his team mate through-out the exercise," We'll meet again Kat-chan." The newly promoted Gennin exited the room just then.

arrow Desert, Tent:
Sarume awoke from her little nap felling much better than before. Having been in the desert for a while, her body was now better adjusted. She looked around the tent, and found that Kuro and Jin were nowhere to be found. She didn't fell like waking Ademu up, so she left the tent alone. There were no trace of the other two. The village wasn't that big, so as long as she stayed inside, there wouldn't be that much danger of getting lost. She walked away from the tent, searching for either Kuro or Jin.

"Oh..." Kuro constantly examined the room, and from the corner of his eye, he managed to see Sarume walk by. He had hoped the others would sleep in, but maybe this was a good time to talk about strategy. He waved his hand to try and get her attention.

Aside from little walks through the area, Sarume had no knowledge of the layout of the town. She kept her eyes alert, wanted to know the area they were protecting. She sensed a small movement behind her, and upon closer inspection, she discovered it was Kuro. She entered the room he was in, finding many plants. He was in his element know. "Hello, Kuro. Have nice rest?"

Kat nodded. "Thank you Buki-sensei." She turned on her heel and went to exit the classroom and back outside to hopefully catch a nap underneath a tree. Even though she didn't seem very excited her insides were boiling, since she had just become a genin.

::the figure slid out of the shady covering, exposing what appeared to be a human girl, but with the body marking and fur of a jungle cat. Her skin/pelt was a tawny gold, much like a lions, and her hair was slightly wild and a deep auburn, her eyes pupils slitted more so than round::

The elders are up above, if you wish to speak to them you'll have to go up there, but remember you'll be closely watched, we don't trust strangers very much around here.

"My rest..." Kuro's eyes wandered upward. He didn't have any feelings about sleeping, it was just something he did, but he thought it appropriate to give some kind of answer. But just before his mouth could answer, he turned to the girl behind him.
"Um... yes. I guess you could say we scared them off. But we still have to go after them." Kuro turned back to Sarume, completely forgetting about her earlier question.
"You have any ideas?"

"No, I have no clue how to find the raiders. It would be better to wait for them here, since we have no clue where they are camped." Sarume turned to the newcomer. "That is, unless any of the people here do," she said as she bowed. "Hello. My name is Sarume. What is yours?"

My name is Gem. I take care of the wildlife here, as many things will not grow properly without care. The villagers here have little experience with plants. It was Jin who suggested that I do this task.
