Strawberry eyes blinked in confusion, trailing downward to study the copius amount of leather that clothed the little body. He saw nothing wrong with it...but it was the only thing he'd ever worn, so maybe he'd just gotten used to it...it wasn't like it wasn't comfortable --most of the leather had worn down to that softness that showed it had been worn quite often-- but it was a little icky hot in Kiba-san's office, and he didn't want to be in the wrong clothing...

"...is it wrong?" He shot worried eyes up to Yamagawa-sama's. "It's the only thing I've got. Is it wrong?" He'd always worn leather --Master-sama liked leather on Chou-- and it usually wasn't a problem. Except for today, where it had been nastyyuckyicky in Kiba-san's office, and, apparently, right now when Yamagawa-sama thought he should change.

"If it's wrong, I don't mind getting something else," he offered. He still didn't see the problem, but Yamagawa-sama was older and...and worked here, so he knew. So Chou would just let Yamagawa-sama tell him what he needed to do, because, frankly, he really didn't know. He liked his outfit, but it might be wrong here, and Chou especially didn't want to be wrong.

"Aa, not necessarily wrong.." Yamagawa laughed rather uneasily, green eyes trailing down the other's body and taking in the sheer absolute amount of leather.. Must have killed a cow or two -- he guessed three -- to make all that. For once, he seriously doubted the mental sanity -- or morality, for that matter -- of anyone who made Chou-chan dress up like that and still be so clueless, as a.. slightly harsh term. Innocent. There was nothing wrong with wearing leather. Just.. the implications of it.

Silently deciding to look up on that further in the relative peace of his own mind later -- Yamagawa didn't quite feel at home about the turn this thought was taking him -- he instead smiled in a hopefully reassuring way. "We don't have any kind of dress code around here, after all." You could go around naked, if you wanted to. But usually that meant nothing good. "I'm just.. worried. That you might be uncomfortable with that on in some places around here."

Ah. Good. His outfit wasn't wrong. So long as it wasn't wrong, Chou didn't have to worry. An almost visible sense of relief went through his body, and he grinned up at Yamagawa-sama. S long as he wasn't wrong or in trouble or making someone mad, Chou was happy.

"Ne, like Kiba-san's office?" Because it had been hot and yucky in there and his clothing wouldn't let him breathe so much that he thought he would pass out. "If we're going to go to more places like that, then maybe I should change..." He nibbled at his lip, another problem surfacing.

He tugged again at Yamagawa-sama's sleeve. "I don't have anything else..." Seriously, this was the only outfit he had ever worn. Well, other than that weird lacy dress thingy he had worn at night, but he had left that behind because he didn't like how thin it was and it simply wouldn't do for traveling. If Yamagawa-sama had something else, he wouldn't mind changing, but...but otherwise he'd have to just stay in these clothes, because he didn't have anything else.

"Yes. Sometimes.." It would be bad if Chou-chan didn't like Kiba-san because his office was too hot, because Yamagawa liked Kiba-san, in a funny kind of strange close-ish friends-ish way -- if it could be called that -- and he liked Chou-chan too -because Chou-chan was cute and little and shiny and pink -- so it would be bad if those two didn't get along, right? Because Yamagawa didn't really have anybody that he particularly was fond of save for those two and maybe one other person, and if they didn't like each other, well...

"Only if you want to. I'm not going to force you.." Yamagawa couldn't stop himself from touching the pink hair, albeit lightly, only just brushing it with the tips of his fingers as they stood there. It was really pretty. He hadn't ever seen that kind of colour on anybody's hair before. It reminded him of candies and icings and hundreds and thousands, and it was good and yummy sort of colour. No wonder Chou-chan kept nibbling on it.

"No, it's okay. I don't mind changing. I just don't have anything else. So...er...if you had something I could wear, I'd change into it..."

Chou was actually a little glad that Yamagawa-sama said he wuldn't force him to change. By this time, Master-sama would have ordered the change, but...but Yamagawa-sama was nicer than Master-sama had been, so he supposed it made sense that they did things differently. As long as it was differently enough so that Yamagawa-sama didn't get mad at him and hit him because he did something bad, Chou didn't mind staying around Yamagawa-sama.

Because...he liked Yamagawa-sama...like he had liked Master-sama...and...that was a lot of liking.

"Great!" The scientist smiled, the eyes hidden behind the fallen locks of messy red hair as he tilted his head slightly, the hand moving from where it was hovering rather hesitantly over Chou-chan's pink hair to lightly take hold of the faerie's hand. Somehow, the simple action -- after all, Yamagawa came into contact with a lot of the young ones in particular in his profession -- made the redhead's heart flutter a tiny little bit fraction more than usual, making Yamagawa blink slightly and pause a little in his steps. It had.. It was strange.

But he soon shrugged it off, mind already turning to other matters, like.. what things that he had would fit Chou-chan the best. It could have been heart palpitations, and those were normal. Or it was just him hearing things. Maybe he was getting heat stroke -- albeit belated -- from Kiba-san's office. Anything. "Yosh, leeet's go!"

"Ha~ai!" he sang, smiling brightly and happily and just very very positively. His glitter was once more sparkly luminescent rainbow glints, and he was shedding everywhere, so he was very very very happy. Because Yamagawa-sama didn't seem mad at him anymore so he must have dne something right to make it better. What, he wasn't sure what, but he must have, because Yamagawa-sama wasn't mad anymore.

Chou followed Yamagawa-sama around a corner, nearly walking right into an assisstant with a stack of papers. For some reason unknown to Chou, the assisstants eyes got reallyreallyreally big at the sight of Chou and Yamagawa-sama. Blinking slightly, the faerie watched the assisstant scamper off without a word, clutching her papers to her chest and muttering something under her breath. Then he shrugged it off. No use wondering over things he didn't get.

More importantly was memrizing where they were going so if he ever got lost he could find his way back to Yamagawa-sama's --or Kiba-san's-- office. Though he'd probably not head towards Kiba-san's office right away. Cuz it was really hot.

At the sight of the assistant, Yamagawa's smile -- hovering just below the surface as he whistled cheerfully -- floated and widened over his face and he stopped slightly, inclining his head lightly at her. After all, she was the only one that Yamagawa vaguely knew the name of. Her handwriting was funny, because she kind of curved her 'Z's in a strange weird way. "Morning, Anna!" At least, he thought it was Anna. Could have been Annette. Or Angela-- Not that she heard, really. There she went, nearly stumbling over in her haste.

Blinking rather curiously behind his glasses, the taller turned to Chou-chan, nudging the other slightly and starting to walk again. His office was still a little bit more away.. "We'll just pick some things up from my office, then we can go back to my room to get you something else to wear." Yamagawa glanced back, his gaze sweeping over the trail of pink glitter left in their wake. Ah well. "Then..." Then what? He had never spent this much time with any of the experiments before. Not that he considered Chou an experiment, but.. Chou was, before, ages ago. Frankly, he wasn't sure what other people did when they.. hung around, that's it. What should they do after?

Chou watched her retreating back, noting absently how nervous she seemed. Then, when she fled around the corner, he turned back to Yamagawa-sama. "Ne, who was that?" Curious and friendly by nature, he liked meeting people, even if it was in a weird meeting-ness like this, where Yamagawa-sama introduced her after she was gone. He tucked the ends of his hair into his mouth, nibbling on it while he waited for an answer.

He nodded at the next part of what Yamagawa-sama said. "kay," he chirped, skipping up beside Yamagawa-sama. "What're you geeeetting?" Again, that curiosity comes in. Often, it got him in trouble, but...but he ;iked new things, and he didn't like msyteries, and mysteries he just had to figure out so they wouldn't be mysteries. Even if they were foolish pointless msyteries like what Yamagawa-sama was getting and who the assisstant lady was. Little mysteries were kind of okay unsolved, but Chou especially didn't like big mysteries. Big mysteries had a tendancy to never be solved, and...having something just...hanging around like that was a horrible feeling. Like...why Master-sama--

Nevermind. He had to concentrate on where they were going so he wouldn't get lost. Getting lost would not be fun, because Yamagawa-sama said that the doctors got irritable, and Chou didn't want to meet an irritable doctor and get them mad at him.

The redhead made a silent mental note to call on her later -- very strange, that. It seemed that she (he still wasn't sure what her name was) got increasingly fidgety and flustered whenever he saw her around during the day. Especially after since he started asking her to retype the reports that he had wrote. His handwriting wasn't that bad, right? And it wasn't like it was completely illegible. He just didn't want to hand in the papers with blood still on them, that's it. It was all about hygiene, really.. God knows what could be in it. It looked all pretty, but it could contain.. AIDS, or something bad and icky and just bad. "It's Anna -- or at least, I think it's Anna." He should look that up too. It's the least he could do, knowing at least one assistant's name. Strange, really. They had known his name when he was an assistant. Shameful, really. Forgetting...

"Just some files and reports.." Yamagawa replied to the drawn out question, his lips quirking sligtly as he caught the sight of Chou skipping beside him. Frankly, he wasn't really sure what exactly it was that he should be getting. His sixth sense was tingling in a bad way, which meant that either he missed out on one of the appointments with somebody or other, or it was about time for his reports to be due. What day was it?

"Reports? Saa...what kiiind of reports?" Still curious, yup, he was. He couldn't help it. Curiosity was a natural part of Chou-chan. He liked finding things out, and making things betterer and complete and not mysterious. Course, at the same time, that meant that he also had a tendancy for getting into trouble, because while he wasn't nosy, persay, he just like solving all the tangled riddles and mysteries and puzzles of Doom that bugged him.

This was already a fun place. This placce had peoples like Anna-something-san. Hme hadn't had anyone but Master-sama, and here he had already met lots of new people! Like...like Kiba-san and Yamagawa-sama and Anna-something-san and...and other people he hadn't met but were surely there. Because new people were fun! And he'd never had new people before. Sure, Yamagawa-sama said the doctors got annoyed sometimes, but that couldn't be too bad, right? Because...they were doctors...and doctors were the good guys...

[[@silentserene// Hi! ><; I'm just rping as much as I can before the school starts.. >>;;;;; (EXAMS! X_X)

[wants to make another chara but not sure what] sweatdrop ]]

"About what I did during the week, really." Yamagawa replied, blinking slightly. Really, what kind of things? What was all this for? Sure, they had to keep track of everything they went on, but they still expected him to hand in his report even if he hadn't done anything in particular save for some minor stitchings or such. One of these days, he'll just put in 'Drank beer and watched B-rate horror movies'. Just that, on a big white piece of paper. Of course, that would end with him possibly getting A/ A pay cut or B/ Fired..

"Then.." The redhead muttered, half his mind on the report, the other half on the fluttering figure next to him. Then what? This was fast becoming some kind of actual social activity. Strangely, Yamagawa found that he didn't really mind it as much as he originally thought he would. Maybe it was the glitter that was to blame with his heart palpitations and the weird feelings. Some kind of happiness-inducing laxative, no doubt.. The redhead eyed the floaty pink shiny glitter suspiciously, nudging a pile away with the toe of his foot as they passed by. Maybe he could get Kiba-san to see just what the heck this glitter was doing to him.. not to mention another plausible excuse to go pester the other some more. He didn't have many chance to see Kiba-san, mostly because of the irregular hours and -- he had to admit -- the temperature.

((I've already got another chara.
I just need to get the urge up to put his profile up and post for him.
And thank you for the welcome, Serene-san! ))

Chou giggled, blowing at a small pile of glitter on his shoulder and watching it flurrie up in the air. "Like what? What does Yamagawa-sama do during the week?" If Chou had to do reports like that, he'd have a hard time with it, because...because he didn't like making notes. And he'd have make notes of things if he had to hand in report every week. So in that respect, he was glad he wasn't a doctor right now, even though other times he ferverantly wished he was.

They'd go get Yamagawa-sama's reports, and then Yamagawa-sama would get him something to wear --because that's what he said he'd do-- and then they'd go and do something else. Because...Yamagawa-sama was a doctor and knew what to do, do Chou didn't have to think about it because...well, because Yamagawa-sama would know and would tell him what to do, and it would all work out.

[[I think I shall pull Butter out from where he's stuck somewhere along on the past pages, and stick him somewhere. X__x;]]

"I eat little children and make necklaces out of their finger bones." Yamagawa replied easily, green eyes crinkling at the corners into an easy, too easy joking smile. It wasn't real, of course. Why would he even bother to eat them in the first place? --even though he had a nagging feeling that yes, he might just be bothered sometimes-- But most of the time he was just too lazy to. Why would he, when he could just reach in and pluck those tiny fragile bones out from their body with a single flick?

"--or when I'm not doing that, I'm helping them to be healthy and happy again." Yamagawa's lower lip jutted out slighty as he spoke, trying his veryveryvery best to not make it sound.. what? Why was he glossing over the facts? He had never used to do that with anyone, not even some of the experiments. He preferred the hard blunt truth over meandering politeness. Not that he was lying of course, because he hated lying, but..
