DarthLowingrad Grimisha Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Right now I'm just trying to figure out a proper shikai. What kind of character are you making?
Like, a hand-to-hand type, or more of a swordsmanship person?
And remember, Shikai should always flow into your Bankai in some way.
With Ritsuko, even though it seems to change dramatically, the flow is still there.
Her Shikai is a rapier, a blade meant for penetration and quick defense.
Her Bankai keeps a relatively similar action, as her blade is made for penetration attacks, but is amplified with the ability to do slash-types due to her first Bankai ability.
The only difference is that it goes from an attack/defend style of fighting, to purely a stab/slash/try to kill quickly style of fighting. I'm going to do Zanjutsu so I was going to have the shikai separate and turn into two swords or do you think that should be for the bankai when and if my character unlocks it.

Well, it's very strange for a Zanpakuto to dual wield if it's not a dual Zanpakuto, unless you will have a dual Zanpakuto.
Otherwise, if you are having a dual Zan, then I would say do it for Shikai.
Then in Bankai, it should stay as dual-wielding, or a two-handed weapon.

I've been a few where.. phew, that stuff got hard.
Had to explain to the T what and how an ability worked in one.
Like, actually had to be scientific about it and everything.

A little confused but I'll push past it. If you need help, lemme know. We're in the process of revamping the Taijutsu section though, so you may want to be careful about putting too much thoughts into it sweatdrop Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Right now I'm just trying to figure out a proper shikai. If your still having trouble I've a few zanpakutō you could use I've even got one that would fit your desire for two swords its a single blade with the ability to change proportions and even split a rather simple but deadly weapon called Gin Yomi or Silver Underworld, has shikai and bankai finished

Like, actually had to be scientific about it and everything. Had one of those. They were extremely literate too like 3 paragraph minimums (which I don't like because it leads to a lot of filler.) This is for sure one of the more relaxed Bleach RPs i've been in.
