With a nod, Tails walked to them, and sticking both palms out he began to focus. From his left hand, the solar energy coalesced into a ball just as smooth as Blizz's. From the right. a ball of fire burst into life. "It takes hybrids longer to master this kinda stuff than Pokemon, but on the other hand, this is unnatural for most Pokemon. You'll see smarter Pokemon like Alakazam, Ninetales and Gardevoir do this kind of stuff though."

"Exactly." I said to Tails.

Tristen was listening carefully, all of it was important as far as he was concerned.

"All in all, though, its all about control." I said. "At least for starters. The better your control, the more you can handle what Chi you're using, and the more you can handle, the more versed you can be. You pretty much stick to using Spark because well...its about all you can do, really, apart from Flash. Everything has to go off in a uncontrolled burst, which in a way, it tends to be viable since that's how Spark and Flash is supposed to go. Heck, at that rate, you probably could of learned a Discharge attack with that kind of set up." I explained. "But what if you wanted to attack something from a distance? Last I checked, your Thunder Wave doesn't exactly have much range to it."

"No..." Tristen said.

"Well, with control, you can actually get that Thunder Wave to reach out. And for that matter, we could go on from there. Heck, you'd probably could fire off Charge Beams, Thunderbolt attacks, or even Thunder one of these days." I said. "But first, let us try something. Hold your hand out."

He held his hand out over the table.

"I want you...to make some of that Thunder chi come out...only...right here." I said, poking right in his palm. "Right there. Don't make it come out from any other part of your hand. Just...right...there." I said.

"If you need any encouragement, I can always pants you if you shock one of us," Tails teased. He released the chi from his palms, and it dissipated harmlessly into the air. It did feel a little warmer in the room.

It would only be fortunate that Tristen wouldn't be shocking anyone. He did manage to get enough control for it to go to his hand. But...as in one centralized point on his hand? That was a bigger stretch than one may realize, as demonstrated by his whole hand tending to light up a bit like a Christmas tree.

Him trying to do that for that matter also started my feathers to stand on end...and probably anything with fur for that matter.

The fur on Tails' head stood most readily. "Heeey, he's one half a Tesla coil," he observed. "And Blizz is a porcupine bird now."

Tristen now paid attention to what was in front of him. It didn't strike him until Tails had said it and Tristen giggled a bit. "Ha ha, very funny." Though I had to admit, I had to laugh myself a little. I went to press down the feathers again, though I knew that this may be a futile effort with Tristen doing all of this. "Go on, Tristen, keep trying."

"Alright." He said.

"Just in one spot. That one spot."

"Think of it like an exercise. The more you try, the better you get," Tails said and nodded. "And if you want, Blizz can do stuff to...encourage you to remember your routines."

Avo woke up from his little power nap not too long ago. He checked his SNAG for some mail and smiled widely. Seemed like his mission was a great succes and his extra efforts were also greatly appreciated.

Avo stood up from his spot and stretched out, making some of his bones crack a little bit.
-- "Right... Maybe I should get some training done... Or find someone to just hang out with..." Avo said to himself. He started heading for the Training Fields, half expecting someone to be there as well.

Doragon jumped back as the fireball came at him and smirked. "Still not fierce enough," he said to Blaze. "Try it again and don't hold back." Blaze nodded and opened his mouth, letting out a stream of fire. They had been practicing like this for a while and Blaze had yet to catch on. He was trying to get his partner to be like him. Swift, cunning, and deadly. If he could get that down, they could act as one unit and really be powerful. That way, Doragon could use attacks with just hand movements. "Swift and cunning," Doragon said as he jumped back and dashed toward Blaze. He quickly jumped into the air and aimed a Mach Punch at him. Doragon blocked the attack, but was sent backwards, falling on the floor. Blaze took advantage of this and came at Doragon with another Mach Punch. However, he had rolled out of the way when he hit the floor and Blaze instead hit the ground. "Better," Doragon said, panting. "But you've still got much to learn. Luckily you're on your way to Infernapehood." Blaze grinned and then attacked again. They kept training like this until Doragon and Blaze were both exausted. Doragon and his partner both limped out of the training area to the Main Entrance, slumping on the couch.

Shirubā walked into the Hq and sat on one of the couches, looking around. Cinder sat next to him and looked around as well. 'So this is what the Hq looks like,' he thought, scratching his head. It's bigger than I expected. Turning he noticed someone else come and sit down. He was surprised that it was a little boy, falling down in exaustion. Shirubā scratched his head and leaned back on the couch.

Doragon looked to see a newcomer on a nearby couch. "A new Rookie," he said, looking from Blaze and back to Shiruba. He then stood up and went to introduce himself. "Hey there," he said, sticking out his hand. "I'm Doragon. Bronze Snagem. Pleased to make your acquantance." He then bowed to him, a devious grin on his face.

Shirubā looked surprisingly at the injured kid. "You're Bronze ranked," he said in shock. "But you're just a kid. How did you get promoted so fast. They must rank up anyone these days." He scratched his head and stood up. "Shirubā. Snagem Rookie." He held out his hand in a shaking fashion.

Doragon popped a vein at being called a child and stood up. When Shiruba held out his hand, he slapped it away, grabbing Shiruba by the colar. "Could a kid do this," he said, attempting to throw the teen over his shoulder.

"........encourage?" He asked. He knew encouragement. It didn't lead to anything good.

Tails nodded. "You know. Tickle you until you cry uncle, or get Typhlosion to sleep with you like you're a teddy bear."

He was silent as it dawned on him that encouragement was often used as euphemisms for more sinister punishments. Punishments that left marks. "But he'd never do anything that would hurt. Or make you feel bad. And he really does know how to encourage someone when they're training."
