Although hidden, the captain frowned slightly. It was asking for a lot returning after being away for three years and then demanding missions. The others who had returned for various reasons recently had been stripped of their ranks, and she could make no exception in this case, not until she could be evaluated...which required the Raikage's return. However, given the events of late, help was needed at the hospital, and she knew from previous years that the woman before her had medical training. It didn't hurt having her work there. "Right. First I would like you to seek out adviser Wanryoku--I believe he was actually at the hospital. You'll know him when you see him; can't miss him." Her gaze turned absently down to the papers on the desk. "From there, unless he has something else for you, you may help out at the hospital. Until such that you've been evaluated and your jounin status restored, I must limit which jobs you can take. However, because I know of your previous status in the village, I'll let you take up to C-rank rather than the standard D." Straightening the papers for a second time in only a few minutes she finished. "If there was nothing else you're dismissed... unless you have questions?" Finally her eyes turned back to the woman.
[There's a new system called Jobs in the guild, one of them being Medical. I'd recommend looking at it. You can find it here]

Sukai listened to the ANBU and nodded. It felt weird having to be reevaluated for her rank in the village, considering how much she had done in the past but it couldn't be helped. It was what it was, she was curious about her evaluation though, would she have to go on another assassination mission again to prove her worth? Turning on the ball of her foot she began to walk out. Wanryoku eh?

Oh my its updated a lot.... Most of Sukai's missions I did to get her were she is now were medical so I might qualify for Xx: Assistant definitely Xx: medic . Is Wanryoku a NPC?
The bronze martial artist moved her way through the village. Earning many eyes upon her as they knew she was foreign. Even more the fact that she knew anbu was eying her like a horny teenager. Still nothing mattered more than sitting down with the Raikage and hearing their ruling about her. As she moved through the people moving towards the tower it truly didn't help that she towered over most people. Making her stick out to everyone even more. Letting out a soft sigh she zoned out letting her legs take her in the direction that the gate guard informed her of.
It didn't take long for her to reach the massive building made almost entirely of windows. It was such an odd thing but a useful thing as well. As the Raikage must be able to see everything they'll ever need to from their office. She was allowed to enter the building as anbu had no doubt informed everyone of her presence and intentions. She stopped in front of the receptionist's desk and couldn't help but continue to look around. Her golden eyes taking everything in until the receptionist spoke. "Miss, head on up to the Raikage. He's there currently." She instructed and Nariko simply nodded and went for the office as directed.
As she stopped in front of the doors she knocked firmly to announce she was about to enter. As no one told her to wait she went in as she believed the Raikage to be expecting her. After all the receptionist wasn't surprised by her at all. Once more she had no doubt in mind that the anbu forces informed everyone to her presence. Figuring out what to do with her and so on before she even entered the office no doubt. She took a few steps into the office and looked around and couldn't help but feel out of place within it. It appeared to be more of an opera area rather than an office. But none the less the Raikage was sitting at a desk in the middle. Unknown what he was doing she didn't dare interrupt him. Instead she got her paperwork ready from Konoha and waited to be called on at his convenience. Her golden eyes focused upon him as she steadied her nerves for this life changing conversation.
Posting the clone like an NPC fyi. Also following posts will be longer.
Two figures stood in the office proper once Nariko entered, a cloaked ANBU who carried a scythe as tall as she was, and the Raikage himself, who looked her age if not younger. He stood at her entrance, halting a conversation he was having with the ANBU, who moved away to give them space. "I hear you hail from Konoha. I hope you know you've made a dangerous move in coming here." He shifted a stack of papers on the desk out of the way and then continued. "It isn't an official declaration yet, but your village isn't on good terms with us." Another brief pause, but he kept his expression carefully neutral, despite any personal feelings toward the situation. In all honesty, he didn't want to be hostile with the Leaf, since two of his closest friends had come from there, but he couldn't ignore that this started first when Masahiro vanished, and then when they raided Kaminari no Kuni for resources. He'd tried to forgive hostilities from the previous kageship but those chances were gone. "Still, I'll listen to what you have to say. You're interested in moving to my village. How do I know you're not a spy? Or that your allegiance lies with us?"
Nariko looked at the man or rather boy who claimed to be the Raikage. Truth of the matter was he might just be simply because he's the strongest of the village. After all most of the time he who held the position was designated the strongest of the village. Her eyes moved from the Raikage to the other man back to the Raikage. She shrugged her shoulders and became bluntly honest. "There's no way you could know for sure. Even the paperwork releasing me signed by the Hokage could be fake if that's how you feel." She cleared her throat and then spoke more.
"Could be I just killed someone in Konoha and need to lay low. But then where are the anbu hunting me? Surely they could take me down right?" She asked as she looked to the other man in the room briefly. "Or did I run away? Even then they'd find me right? Leaving you with two options. I'm a spy. Or I'm a shinobi that was ******** over by the new one when Masahiro split." She sighed out and looked briefly out the window. "The truth of the matter is honestly what you believe it to be. Whatever the case may be I'll accept my fate here." She said as she readied herself for a fight. If she was going to die she'd go down swinging that's for damn sure. Yet even as she readied herself for a fight her body language never betrayed her.
A pair of inhumanly bright, azure iris residing within the sanctum of two pale sclera, peering narrowly from the murkiness in which the shadowy foliage of his whereabouts fostered. Decimo tread within the grand building that sheltered such an entity. Everything was met with grand respect for such an establishment, though Decimo didn't understand, nor wanted to comprehend the sweltering sentiments that had coursed through his entire consciousness. It was then where he was met with something entirely unfamiliar, then again that's something not to be surprised about as his parents were merely peasants. "So this is the building? Heh, Interesting." The young man spoke loud enough for whoever may have been around would be able to perceive such words from Decimo. His tone was cocky, perhaps expecting more out of such a vast village, though such scenes manifested, merely eliciting at this point, Decimo straightened himself out.
Ethereal glow of iridescent hues radiated from each and every one of the patterns that detailed both his arms and attire. He stood out, not like many individuals within the village. Tightly fitted Yukata, enveloped by Azure patches, accompanied by sizable metallic waist belt that clamped onto the young boy. Scanning the area he worked his way towards the receptionist that positioned herself gallantly behind such a modern desk. This surely was the place to be, not even a couple seconds into venturing within the proximity and Decimo had already felt multitudes of power levels that dwelled within the area. A faint smirk curving the strange boy's lips likely told his joy in such surroundings. Everything was different, most of the area was semi-worn out, definitely not new, though it was still functioning. "Excuse me; I'm here to talk to the Raikage? I have been told to come here to receive, and or earn the right to obtain a ninja headband."
Contrary to the outlook of everything, Decimo wasn't entirely sure if this would be the right choice. Faint flashbacks of the poverty within his family arose as it clouded his consciousness for just a few moments. Shaking his head side to side he regained composure as he awaited a response from the receptionist. "It does not matter if I /want/ to be here. I /need/ to be here." Such thoughts guided him and put him back on track. His countenance transitioned to a more serious outlook as it continued to portray as the minutes went by, it was a waiting game at the very least, though hopefully something good will come about this.
Unfortunately she was right. Unless he was going to have the ANBU search her memories, which was cruel, there was no way to prove anything. He'd just been more curious of her reaction than anything. Her tone was honest and she gave no sense of deceit or nervousness. In fact, she was rather bold in her statements. In that moment, she sort of reminded him of Wan, with the blunt forwardness to match. The question was, though, what was the Hokage planning by releasing her? It seemed, to him, that they should be gathering all their forces if they planned on striking--
'Masahiro split'? The only thing that really could be figured from that was that he left. The hell? Things weren't adding up again. Why would he launch an attack and then bail, and who was the new Hokage? What part did they play in all of this? Because the group Wan and the other three found in the mountains definitely had Leaf headbands. The symbol was hard to mistake.
Also, what kage would release one of their own, knowing they might bear some sort of information that could put their village at a disadvantage? It was too risky of a move simply letting someone who'd trained for years there leave to join another village.
The young Raikage glanced toward the ANBU standing nearby, though the cloaked figure gave no indication of acknowledging it, as always. Frowning slightly, his gaze returned to the white-haired foreigner. "Alright, fine. I'll accept your answer." Raising a hand to set his chin on, he fell silent for a moment, looking the girl over. She was tall, and able-bodied, the type not afraid to use her body to her advantage given her clothing. It was almost uncomfortably skimpy. That aside, she wore no weapon save a cestus on each arm. So she was a physical fighter, unless those were just for show. "Tell me a bit more about yourself. Your name, first off, but also what your strengths are and what you're looking for as a shinobi." That much would at least help me glean how trustworthy she would be.

The young blond woman looked up from her work as someone spoke, adjusting the glasses that had slid down her nose. She looked over the young man briefly, before gesturing to the set of stairs leading up that started behind her. They didn't just lead up though, they kept going, and going, all the way, apparently to the top of the mountain. "Unfortunately, you'll have to go all the way up there to see him, but he is in." She gave him a pleasant smile, straightening a pile of papers. "I can also give you a headband, although you'll have to stop by another time to speak to him. It's up to you. I'll need your name, though, if you choose the latter."
She gestured a few minuscule actions as Decimo, in turn, responded with a slight nod of the head before Azure pupils glanced over to the staircase. Her words resounded within his head as she gave him a few options. " . . . . . " There were no words that escaped the young man's lips, though his countenance portrayed more than enough words to signify his distaste for such an option. Papers piled onto one another as she shifted them, trying to keep things in place. Decimo listened to yet another alternative that seemed more pleasing to the young man. "My name is Decimo Saya, we can continue this another time, I simply just want to contribute to the village and get into a squad and or mission as soon as possible" speaking in a gentle manner since he wasn't trying to act like a total idiot over something slight. "Che, that staircase is too much for me, and I don't want to waste any more time." Such thoughts manifested as he continued to uphold his forceful smile.
Contrary to everything, it seems as though the staff was the only praiseworthy attraction thus far to the young man. Decimo shifted to the side slightly as he continued to scan the area, hoping the woman will give him his headband so that he may go about his daily biddings. "Say... How does one even get put into a squad?" Decimo was struck with a blow of reality as he truly is a novice when it came to this. "Being a ninja? Never." was his mindstate before, though here he stands eagerly waiting to go on a mission.

I'm just assuming he went through the academy here, since your profile doesn't provide that answer. .-.
At the mention of his name, Decimo Saya, the young woman began rifling through the pile of papers she'd just straightened, muttering his name a couple of times before she found the file she was looking for. "Ah, here we are." Setting it aside, she straightened her stack again and then opened a drawer on the desk. Pulling out a band of cloth, she placed it plate up in front of Deci. "The headband gives you access you scrolls at the academy. As a genin, you'll have access to up to B-rank, or stage four techniques. Likewise, you are able to take D-rank missions from the Mission Board. Any you finish, be sure to report in for your reward here." She gave him another pleasant smile. "As for squads, everyone has been dispatched to their own for now, but you will be included in the next set of missions. I would recommend for now focusing on training."
There were no more words for the young man to display, though a slight nod accompanied by his usual fake smile was shown towards the receptionist. "Thank you for your time. I will go about my training for now until the time is right to be placed on a squad." He shifted his gaze towards the grand lobby as he inhaled softly before exhaling. "Yes! Finally, I hope these missions pay well. Perhaps I can eat well later on." The young man's thoughts were laudable, though such circumstances were real for the unfortunate young man. Decimo reached out for the headband, such a weight manifested on his shoulders the closer his hand extended towards such an accessory."I'll be taking this and going on my way now." Decimo firmly grasped the headband, then pinching the cloth part making it dangle in front of his view. His eyes went pale but for a moment as a serious look enveloped his face, then shifting his body towards the exit he paced himself slowly before exiting the vicinity. . .
He made it right outside the doors that lead into the first floor of the tower. A soft breeze coursed through the young man's frame as he flinched softly due to the weight behind it. "This is where I begin huh..." Staring into the horizon as the trees bent slightly, dancing around each other in some kind of harmonic way. Decimo continued to walk forward, not knowing where the path leads, though that would be the fun part about such a thing. "If there is no path, then create one Decimo." His father's words resounded within his head as the young man ventured forth into a new world.

✰ Miko came into the Office with a few notes to act in the steam of her missives for the work she'd put in for the village. She wasn't sure if it only worked if she had more official missives to hand it but the work was done she she wasn't sure what else to do. On approach Miko noticed a new face exiting the building, but since it didn't seem like a person she'd need or have to keep in her thoughts she'd think nothing of him as she'd pass him by. Her business was with the blonde secretary giving in her the missives. Miko waved over to her as she'd approuch and explain the jobs and the written slips signed by this appropriate to verify the job was done. (mission board post) One that was squared way Miko would head over to the residential district to see about a issue in where she'd bee sleeping. Miko spent a lot of time roaming around the village doing the odd jobs assigned to her and her squad and the stupor of grief she'd been under for over a week following the blizzard and the monsters that took her grandfather from her she'd lost sight of the assigned apartment she was to share with some unknown roommate.

Trough training one can “read” and remember kinetic motion of physical objects around themselves as long as some form of motion (vibration) is happening around them, and there after differentiates them specifically committing the sensation to memory. (New sensations are responded to vaguely if not committed to memory/identified already.) This ability has only a 6-yards [3-yards] cubic range, and works better on the ground/in water. Where vibrations are involved mid-air sensing isn’t exact. The practitioner retains a slight increase in reflexes over their current Rank standard from this ability, and when retrained this boost also increase from slightly, to mildly, to moderately and etc. Though passive this ability drains stamina when used to dodge equal to the rank of the technique being avoided with in the trained limit!

Nariko was looking back and forth from the anbu to the Raikage. Trying to get a feel for them and to see if they were going to make a move against her. She knew she'd die in a situation like this however she witnessed something different. Someone was giving her the benefit of the doubt. She was honestly taken off guard by this and it showed upon her face for merely a second. If anything this showed to the Raikage what kind of leadership there was within Konoha at the moment. If she'd be surprised by the fact that someone believed her of something and went with it. Her time in Konoha was brutal as she had to prove everything beyond a reasonable doubt.
She licked her lips briefly and eased up as a soft sigh left her. She was letting her guard down for once so she could relax for once. Possibly shoot the s**t with the Raikage and his anbu guard. "My name is Nariko," She spoke as she looked up at the ceiling for a moment. Thinking of what to say she was just as blunt and honest as normal. "I'm a mixture of taijutsu and a ninjutsu shinobi. I prefer solving problems with my fists. I've been on missions above my rank and still brought success. Never got credit for any of it." She muttered briefly and thought a bit more. "Lastly... I just want purpose." She said honestly and seemed to zone out for a moment.
Your last sentence appears to have cut off midway through. I hope there wasn't anything missing. .-.
For a split second, in reaction to his words, she looked surprised, but the expression was gone as fast as it came. Still, it was a genuine surprise, not in the 'he fell for it' way, but the 'he believed me way.' With undivided attention on the woman, the young Raikage didn't miss it, and a small smirk lit his lips. However, it too was gone quickly as the foreigner relaxed and introduced herself. She gave only her forename, Nariko, as well as a brief overview of her strengths. Taijutsu and Ninjutsu--although it couldn't replace her, at least this newcomer's focuses were similar to Hatsu before the chuunin turned in her headband. A little of her personality showed through as well; she appeared to be the type to act first and ask questions later. Not unlike Kaileer himself. And most of the physical shinobi for that matter. Hopefully there wasn't beginning to be an overbalance of brawn versus brains. Not saying anyone was unintelligent but...
He halted his train of thought before it became completely derailed. Nariko made a comment that her efforts in the past had gone unnoticed, and briefly he wondered what she meant by that. The way it had been said seemed that the statement was unintentional, or simply a stab at her former village. Either of which was fine by him.
Her attention returned to him as she continued, a simple statement, asking for a purpose. The Raikage sat back in his seat, and considered her response for a moment. By the sounds of it, her time in Konoha hadn't been too pleasant, and incredibly strict. While he couldn't say Kumogakure's rules were any more lenient, its shinobi at the very least sounded a bit more personable. "I want you to understand something, before I give you a final 'yes' or 'no'," he finally said simply after a moment. He waited patiently to make sure her focus was back on him before continuing. "There are no heroes here. When it comes to getting 'credit' for something, you'll get it by quality, not quantity. We're all comrades in arms and I expect my shinobi to treat each other that way. In the end, on the battlefield, we're all the same." Leaning forward, he rested his arms on the desk. "At the same time, we aren't a bunch of nameless faces in the crowd. I expect obedience. I expect cooperation. But I also expect you to be kind and respectful to both your companions and the people you have sworn to protect. Without the village we are nothing. Am I clear?"
Nariko thought on the Raikage's words and thought of how she was. She didn't want to start this off with any amount of deception. After all the road to trust was developed from the very start right. "I can't promise I'll be the kindest around. I can't even promise I'll respect everyone I meet as that's honestly impossible to promise. Even if I was the kindest person upon the planet promising respect for everyone would be lying to you." She said as she licked her lips for a moment. "I will not lie to you. You will get obedience and cooperation as I am a tool to be used. To say I am more than that would be false. I don't aim to be a hero and never have I had the intentions of becoming such. As I have said... I seek purpose. By telling you of my previous exploits and how they were looked over I hoped to show that my last village showed no purpose for me. Not how much I had accomplished." Her body language showed that she was calm. However she was still on the defensive. Ready to fight for her life should she need to.
She never contemplated the fact that she might be turned down from this village. Her thoughts were roaming over a few possibilities. Would they attempt to kill her? Or would they simply let her leave here? Would she become a rogue or a mercenary? So many possibilities at this point. Then again becoming a mercenary didn't sound so bad. In a way she would have purpose wouldn't she? Her golden eyes looked from the Raikage to the anbu with him. Watching their body language and waiting to see if they would make a move on her or not.
