((OMG MY PSYCH PROFESSOR PUT AN ALICE IN WONDERLAND CLIP IN HIS VIDEO RESOURCES ONLINE!!! Funny, he dropped it in the abnormal psych section. LMAO!))
"Why?" Ace of Hearts panted, his face twisted in agony. "Why . . . why do the Jacks . . . and you want me alive? Selfish people . . . you just want me to suffer! AH!" Ace of Hearts peered at his left arm, the one he had shoved his needle through. Clearly, the Ace of Clubs had put many more injections into him.
"Just . . . just kill me . . . poison me, Ace of Clubs!" He turned his face, more tears coming down. "I can't take it anymore." His voice had cracked and he sobbed some more.
Two stared into his glass, gazing at his reflection in the golden brown liquid. His eyes were drooping and tired. Perhaps this would bring him up.
He placed the glass to his lips, only to slam it down. That burns! What kind of liquor is this?
"I never knew you to be an alcoholic, Three," Two said, keeping his eyes off Three and taking another painful sip of his Jack Daniels.
((Edit: I read back, Exel, and saw you edited one of your comments one of your posts, the one commenting Raven killing the last Ace. Thank you. ^_^
It's not so much a contest as it is us revealing our character's pasts. wink
And I did the best I could to show that Raven didn't want to kill the Ace; as it was implied in one of Ace of Hearts' flashbacks, the reason he had to kill the Ace was because he was told to by the Jack of Diamonds when he found out they were lovers.
I'm a b***h to my characters. cool ))

Ace of clubs smirked "well, I don't know Why the Jacks don't want you dead, about why I don't want you death there is quiet a few reason" she said pausing a little and letting a sight scape her lips "First of all it is my duty as a doctor to save any person that needs to be saved" she looked a ace of hears and smirked again "weather they want it or not, second, I was ordered to save your life, I can't disobey orders and third " she let a small shadow of pink taint her cheeks and raised a hand to her lips for dramatic effect "Well..." she faked a little nervousness "I think I have taken a liking for you"

Ace of Hearts gasped lightly, still hiccuping from his crying. All the other reasons Ace of Clubs had stated about allowing him to live had no meaning to him. His lip quivered, taking in the last few words of the Ace of Clubs.
His wet eyes met hers. "H-honestly? Th-that last reason . . . you're honest?"
The Ace of Hearts closed his eyes. "Even after . . . a-all the . . . skirt-chasing I am guilty of?" He managed to make a small laugh, even if it was a bit weak.

((oh yes he didn't want to but he still did... I kinda hate him for that... even if it made the post cool (hate the character not the writing) lol ))
Marcie came back to the hospital after a hot shower on her apartment, the day seemed not to be as cold as before so she decided to wear a black and grey short dress, and grey ankle length boots, she had went by the mall on her way to the hospital and bought Raven a simple Kenneth Cole white dress shirt, that should be enough while he got his new uniform, she had already washed and ironed the uniform pants... those where some weird pants by the way... those fasteners looked kind of odd... but never mind that, she had also washed the socks and cleaned the shoes, Raven would probably end up polishing them all the same again but it didn't matter, for some reason she was eager to be on his company again "Oh, god what you have done to me" she whispered as she reached the door to raven's hospital room, he was being discharged today, and, putting aside yesterday night and the horrible dream she had, that made her happy, she knocked on the door three times.

Ace of clubs smiled sweetly, a true smile, why, did that meat so much to ace of hearts? she leaned in and kissed his forehead before whispering "I guess I do have a thing for Dionaea muscipula like you" she knew a love confession would be dangerous so she tried to keep it as low as she could, trying for only ace of heart's to listen "I hope you don't loose interest after you finally catch me"

Ace looked to the door. "Ah, someone is here to see me!" he called.
Hopefully it isn't the Two. Knowing him, he wouldn't care about murdering me in a hospital. Strange . . . he lost control around the Ace of Hearts, yet stayed calm around Three. Maybe he is still healing from last time; he could barely talk. Ah, right! How is the Ace of Hearts? Probably spending the night beside a woman in her bed . . .
"Please, do come in!"
That's right, Marchy said I'll be leaving by today. Finally! I can take a shower and get into clean clothes!
Ace of Hearts stared quietly at the Ace of Clubs. He reached a weak hand and placed it on the back of her head so he could lean closer to her face.
"You're so . . . precious," he whispered, his lips curving into a weak smile. "C-Calling me . . . whatever you did. T-Typical of you . . . I just . . . wanted to die so badly . . . life wasn't worth living . . ." He whispered even lighter so the Eight couldn't hear him. "You don't know what the Jack of Diamond . . . d-did to me . . ."
His smile became stronger. "Th-thank you . . . Ace of Clubs. I get the feeling I . . . won't give up on you."

((Xd Ace of spades is kind of right about Ace of Hearts, he is in a woman's bed, just not on the way he would like it XD))
Marcie opened the door and let herself in "Good morning" She said whit a smile on her face "I brought you clean clothes so that you can leave, would you like to go to my place to take a shower after you are discharged?" she just hoped raven didn't notice the dark rings under her eyes.

Ace beamed, his heart fluttering at the sight of Marcie.
"Marchy dear!" he called, waving and laughing like a child.
"I miss you so much! It has been so lonely here."
He shifted his position. "A shower would be fine--" Ace suddenly gasped, finally. "Marchy . . . have you been getting decent sleep."

Ace of clubs chuckled a little, "You have no idea of what I just call you do you heart?" she then smiled again not pulling away "I don't know what they did to you, and I have the feeling you won't tell me even if I ask so I guess I will just have to wait until you are less weak to tease you about it" was she loosing her mind? this was going against all of her policies but well... everyone seemed to be mad around so why not her?

Marcie sighed, why did he had to notice? "Maybe" she said getting close and sitting next to him "Or maybe not" she said playfully as she placed a finger under raven's chin "My mind was kind of busy last night" she said giving him a small peek on the lips. it was half the truth, when was the last time she had a good night of sleep?
((I've been waiting to call ace of heart's that for the longest of times XD))

Ace of Hearts kept his smile. "I'm not the s-smart one here . . . I couldn't even c-commit suicide properly." His wrist stung at the mention of his encounter with 'Desist'.
Tease me? He breathed deeply, remembering the Jack of Diamonds threatening him with pictures of his shame. It's fine . . . she doesn't know . . . I hope it stays that way.
"Ace of Clubs," he whispered. "Asleep . . . drifting wherever I was. . . I heard my name . . . I heard it. B-But . . . I don't remember it. It's gone, Ace. Gone." Ace of Hearts managed to smile, however, at one of the things he saw when unconscious.
"I'll a-also bet you didn't know . . . I was once a father-to-be . . ."
"Ah, I won't ask further," Ace replied, smiling at Marcie. "Perhaps you should relax later, Marchy dear. Maybe I should too; I didn't sleep much last night either. I was too busy reciting 'The Raven' to myself in attempt to remember things. It isn't as fun compared to reciting the story with you."
Ace's cheeks warmed as he remembered Marcie laying by his side as his memories returned.

"Ah! just what I said when I found you heart, you didn't even removed the rubber band, that slowed the spreading of the poison considerably" She said smiling and then continued whit a little sad smile to her lips and getting up from ace of hearts side"I know it might sound cruel of me but, father to be... it must have been nice while it lasted" she said , Maybe Ace of hearts was not as bad as she thought, but she couldn't risk acting suspiciously in front of eight and it wouldn't be like her to be too kind. When she got up however she placed her weight on her hurt foot, she had forgotten about her injury so it made her whine a little.
Marcie smiled gently "You are right, we both need some rest" she said caressing Raven's cheek lovingly and kissing his neck softly before placing her head to his shoulder "to what part of the story did you got?" if Raven wanted to continue with that maybe she should help him, he was too cute for her to refuse all of his whims anyhow.
((i forgot to point this out before but Two asked for a Jack Daniel's.... not even a cocktail or prepared drink with Jack Daniel's but a Jack Daniel's straight.... if you drink it straight and are not a good drinker you won't stand more than one shot... Two is going to get drunk before Three does XD OH! and with his neck injury that has to hurt... poor two.))

(( cool He doesn't know much about drinking, so he's going to get drunk quickly (my intention). 8D
A cousin of mine (who is also a very close friend) LOVES Jack Daniel's because of her low tolerance (She calls it the drink of the gods! LOL!). I thought of her when choosing Two's alcohol. xd ))
"It was wonderful until--" Ace of Hearts noticed the slightly pained look on the Ace of Clubs' face. "Are you alright, Ace of Clubs?"
I didn't remove the rubber band? Oh yes. I was in too much pain to remember that . . . my body hurt far too much. Remembering the pain of the 'Detest' in his blood, Ace of Hearts suddenly remembered that there were tightly wrapped bandages on his stinging ankles. I've gone horribly horribly mad . . .
Ace fought back the redness on his face, still smiling at Marcie. "I had reached the . . . ninth verse, I believe. It escapes me how I managed to memorize that whole story. Then again, actors in the time of Shakespeare memorized numbers of soliloquies." He chuckled, running his fingers down Marcie's neck.
"Would you like to recite the story here? He asked, turning to her. "Or would you rather wait until we are out of the hospital?"

((tsk tsk... poor two XD personally i have high alcohol tolerance but i don't enjoy all the drinks so i don't drink much))
"Ah, it's nothing, nothing at all, shard of glass i stepped on while i was on my way to 'save' you" Ace of clubs gave him a little smile, she didn't meant to show the pain, she just couldn't help it.
Marcie felt a small shiver at the touch of raven's slender fingers, she was going to miss this, having raven somewhere she could reach him every time she wanted was quiet fun but she knew it had to end sometime "What ever fit's your taste, love" she said looking up and smiling at him "but... if we are to got out, Shall i wait out while you get changed? or am i allowed to watch?" she added with a smirk.
