Pyne nodded and began to set the fire up. Once he finished, he waited for Alyxis to start the fire.

Alyxis had made a small pile of kindling from dry leaves and a few small twigs, and she pulled a small stone from her pocket, to try to strike against one of her knives. It wasn't working that well.

Pyne moved over and helped her strike the knife. After a few more tries, the fire sparked into life.

Yoshimitsu reaches the edge of the forrest and looks at the dark city. His beautifull white fur melts away to reveal the old man form he had used in the clearing. He picks up a twig and turns it into a gnarled walking stick. He looks back up at the city. old and wrinkled he says to himself, "Well I followed their scent, and here I am. I believe this is Merkia..." He shakes his head and turns back. "This is a mistake..." But instead of continuing back into the forrest, he turns around again and begins walking to the city. "Why not..."

Alyxis let him help, "We should keep it lit and burning all night. That should keep away the less intelligent creature in the forest..."

"Yeah, good idea." Pyne said as he smiled and began setting up their sleeping bags.

Alyxis sighed, her shoulders sagging, "Devin, come here... Your more useful as a wolf..." the golden brown wolf sat down facing Alyxis. Alyxis placed her hands on either side of his head, "Sorry, you'll have to stay like this until tomorrow night. Just relax, this won't hurt you nearly as much as it will hurt me." Alyxis started to chant in a low voice, if Pyne looked at her, he would notice her entire back tensing up, her arm started to bleed again.
Devin whined softly, trying hard not to move.

When Alyxis finally let him go devin yelped in pain and jumped away from her shaking his head and body. He gave a half hearted growl at Alyxis and edged around her.
Alyxis made a dash for the bushes, and emptied what little was in it. She was covered in a cold sweat, her entire body was shaking, and every muscle was spasming.

Pyne walked slowly towards the direction of Alyxis. "Are you okay?" He called out.

Alyxis shook her head, and cradled her arm to her body, "I've never gone through this awake.by now I'm normally passed out..."

Alyxis shook her head, "Lighter wound less pain... Normally I'm half dead when I do this... I just know... I would have needed full mobility... So I used it..." her spine went ramrod straight and she sucked in air, then struggled to let it out without screaming. She leaded against a tree and slid down it until she was sitting, panting hard, "I think my arm might have been cracked... Until a minute ago..."
