Daredevil dropped down from the tree and pulled another billy club from a back holster on the small of his back. He ran a thumb over the button and it fully extended into a long, thin walking stick for the blind. He gingerly took Jai Li's hand and placed the stick into her hand. "Like she said, we're here to help...", he said with a warm smile toward the girl. "I'm new here too. Very new in fact."

She handed the walking stick back to him. "Thank you for your concern. But I'll never use this." She smiled polietly and then looked randomly away from them. "Pretty!" She suddenly started chasing after what seemed to be a duck.

Jai-Li ran into a garabe can and fell on to ground along with it. "Ow." She sat up again. "Aww, the pretty got away." Jai-Li sighed and got up from the ground once more. "Oh well. It can be free and happy." She smiled and looked back at the two of them. "Shùnbiàn shuō yíxià, nín búbì yǐncáng wǒ de shīmíng. Tā bú xiàng biérén búhuì zhùyì dào tā zuìzhōng. Xièxie nǐ guānxīn wǒ de ānquán suīrán." (By the way, you didn't have to hide my blindness. It's not like other people won't notice it eventually. Thank you for caring about my safety though.)
(That last thing she said, which is in initialize, was suppose to be in Chinese. I have yet to find an appropriate English to Chinese translation site to use that doesn't give me the translation in konji.)
