Sabre chuckled, his hand moving tot he other's cheek. "Sorry, do you not like me teasing? I can stop if you want me to..." he offerered, watching him with lazy eyes.

"Well... yes, and then at the same time a big no." Andie frowned lightly and shook his head softly. Trying to think clearly for a few moments, the pink flush staying on his cheeks. "It's not that I don't like you teasing me-- because I do-- but... teasing always goes further... and you're supposed to be resting as it is already." Leaning down, he placed a kiss on Sabre's nose and smiled. "When you're all better, okay?"

Rio simply nodded, waving the other off before taking to the air himself to go back to his own home.

((Want I should make a thread strictly for Valin's home after this post hun?))

Valin walked slowly in the direction of their home, stopping to check on Sparkey's condition every few feet. "Come on... Just a little farther... We can make it..."

"Teasing dosn't have to go further... if it's just between friends." He said with a grin, wrapping his arms around Andie as he leant down. "I understand that maybe we act like we're closer than friends, but hey, it's just cause we're more open, or sommin like that. We only met a few days ago, so it's all jus instincts."

He murred gently however and shut his eyes, enjoying the warmth from the other. He liked holding people, friends or otherwise. It'd often scare the living daylights out've strangers however.. when this rather big fanged guy suddenly latched onto them.

((up to you my dear biggrin ))
Sparkey's condition didn't worsen.. thought it didn't get any better either. He just simply remained unconscious in the other's arms, sometimes muttering incoherant nonsence.

"Well, instincts can still wait until you're all better," Andie said playfully, sticking out his tongue. "You may have to teach me about the whole 'friends' thing. You're the only person I ever bothered to keep around, besides my brother." The fox murred lightly in rhythm with Sabre when arms were wrapped around him.

Relaxing somewhat, he giggled lightly and took mental notes on what friends could do, such as teasing not having to go farther if it was just between friends. That was something he hadn't known up until now. It made him feel a bit... safer and reassured. Less chances of losing him.

Sabre chuckled softly, nuzzling the other. "Friends can also be mean to eachother, without actually hurting the other's feelings. They know when to stop. In away.. being friends is like.. being brothers, only you chose them and they're a lot cooler, and want to hang out with you y'know?"

He knew how most of his brothers would rather have died than hung out with him when they were all younger.

Well, that certainly made it a lot easier to figure out the 'do's' and 'dont's' of a friendship. If it was kind of like being brothers-- but... no. That made it just about as difficult. He and Alek... they didn't tease one another. Oh! That's because friends were open with each other like brothers, but not as close as brothers.. that made it all okay, then.

Raising a brow, he looked down at Sabre before putting his lips to the bunny's forehead, more or less to check his temperature rather than anything else as he offered a crooked smile. "You don't seem to have a high temperature or anything... so no fever. That's a good thing." He said softly, nuzzling Sabre in return.

Yush, Brothers had a strong bond that'd never be severed, they were related by blood. Unless they were adopted.. but still even then it felt similar. it was a psychological bond of blood that kept brothers together, that wasn't there with friends, making them somewhat more vulnrable in places, but also gave them more flexability to mess around.

"Would I usually have a fever if i was shot in the head..?" He asked, tilting his head. He didn't reallize how daft a question that was, as his logic was still messed up. Besides, how was he to know he was one of the few only people to live through a bullet wound to the head.

Letting out a soft giggle, the fox shrugged his shoulders lightly as he relaxed against Sabre. "I'm not sure... You're the only person I've met that lived after being shot in the head." Taking another moment to think, he gave a little grin. "... but I think I can safely come to the conclusion that you don't get a fever if you're shot in the head."
PostPosted: Tue Nov 14, 2006 3:39 pm

Sabre nodded, liking that conclusion. "Mm yes.. I think it's safe to say that.. though.. why wouldn't it be? Are there medical spies listning in to this conversation as we speak?" He asked looking around the room and listning out for these spies.

Dispite his mistake there, a little while of looking around, something did click in his mind, and his ears drooped slightly, seeming to grow depressed.

Andie giggled at first, his tail swishing about behind him until he opened his eyes and noted that Sabre's ears had drooped. Noting the change in his attitude nearly instantly, he put a hand on the bigger male's cheek and frowned softly, looking down at him. "Sabre.. what's wrong...?" He asked softly, nuzzling lightly against the other as his brows lightly pressed together in worry.

"My.. Whole life... It's all been some fluke.. I just realised.. I must've done 5 million crazy stunts, been shot, ran over, been in multiple accidents... and.. i'm still alive... I've just been taking this huge ammount of luck for granted..." He trembled, thinking about overs he had seen in the multiple hospitals he'd been to, "just in case". Many around him in the intensive care unit, that never made it to the next day. His own lack of logic failing to see that they had actually died over night, and he would just lay there bragging about how he'd be out in a few days time.

In a way, doctors saw him as a morale boost, but he just realised how obnoxious that must've been, for all these people who were fighting hopeless fights, striving for a day of extra life, and he would be out risking his life pretty much every day.

"I'm. such an idiot..." He said, putting his hands to his head, unable to stop himself from crying. He felt absolutely terrible now, he could've used that strength of his for much better things.

Ears drooping, he rolled off Sabre to lay beside him, putting an arm around him to hold him close, cradle him gently. Reaching up a hand to gently brush it through Sabre's hair, he shook his head, nuzzling against him, trying to comfort him the best he could. What had suddenly happened? They had been sitting there happily and then... this... less than pleasant turn of events.

"No, Sabre... your life hasn't been some fluke..." He whispered softly in a comforting tone, holding the other as close as he could while he continued to pet his hair in a frantic attempt to calm his friend down. "Sabre... please don't say such things... they're... not true," Andie whispered gently. What was suddenly running through the other male's mind? Was it something he had said or done that caused these tears?

"..." Falling silent to hold him, stroke his hair, comfrot him the best he could, he nuzzled his cheek against Sabre's arm, placing a gentle kiss on his shoulder when the other covered his face. Biting his lower lip, he closed his eyes and shoved all thoughts aside... He had to focus on calming Sabre down...

Sabre wouldn't stop, and he started to cough after a while as he got overworked over this, then started to panic as he looked at his hands, realising his eyes were starting to bleed. The stress he was causing himself was causing his injury to worsen, he was still painfully unstable.

Of course, due to the various monitors around the room that picked up on this, Alice was in the room like a shot, and quickly pulled Andie away to treat his brother the best he could.

After about 10 minutes, Sabre was calm again, laying there unconscious, a bandaged wrapped around his eyes and hooked up to a breathing machine. It was a rather sorry sight for the other to be in, but it seemed he wasn't quite so ready to have visitors after all.. lord forbid what'd happen if he had actually walked out a little while ago.

Alice's ears were drooped, panting softly from working so frantically, he wasn't feeling the greatest either, the stress of his brother being so vulnrable like this not doing his psychological health much too good. He'd have to take a holiday after this.

Turning to Andie, however, he put a hand on his shoulder. "Maybe you should go home.. come back another day when he can be more active..." He said weakly, before leaving him in the room with Sabre, needing some alone time of his own.

Andie stood in shock at having seen blood pouring from Sabre's eyes, but once Alice's hand was placed on his shoulder, he calmed down. Offering a very weak smile, he walked to the edge of the bed. Kissing his fingers, he then placed them lightly to Sabre's cheek before turning to walk towards the door. Stopping with his hand on the knob, he glanced back and stood in a few long moments of silence. He knew... what Alice said was right, but... where was home? Being with Sabre felt safer than any 'home' he had ever been in...

A black wolf slowly made his way towards the asylum, a small hybrid child in one arm, sleeping against his shoulder. Bright green eyes focused on the asylum as he reached a hand up and placed his cigarette in his mouth, making sure the smoke was directed away from Zakai. Brushing red bangs from his face, the wolf took a drag and pulled the cigarette from his mouth, blowing the smoke out through both his mouth and nose before dropping the cigarette and crushing it beneath his shoe.

Adjusting the small child in his arms, he smiled lightly before turning his eyes back towards the asylum. So... this was where Andie had gone? It had taken him hours to decipher the clues that his brother had left, and it had been quite a strain on his brain. It had been nearly six years since he last saw Andie, and since they had last played any mind games. Looking around for anyone that could be of possible help, Aleksandir began to draw near the doors to the asylum. He had to find his brother... he needed to make sure he was okay.

Inside and unaware that his brother was outside looking for him, with a child no less, he slowly opened the door and stepped out, closing it behind him. Leaning his head back against the door, he closed his golden eyes and tried to hold back his own tears. That could wait... at least until he got outside, out of sight and hearing distance... then he could cry.. but not while he risked the chance of running into anyone in here.
