The boy sat on the floor of the hallway for a second, cursing in his head at the day's events. Eventually, a very unhappy Chansey came around the corner with a mop in hand. When Jomei didn't seem to notice her existence, she angrily jabbed him in the side with the cleaning equipment to get his attention. "I give up.." he muttered quietly, pushing himself up from the untidy tile. He apologized to the Chansey as he made his way back around to the front of the center in hopes of retrieving his friend.

"Oh, there you are." the same nurse from before was motioning for him to come over. "You should be more careful in battling." she lectured. "Your Cyndaquil was injured pretty badly."

"I-I know, it was an accident." he said, trying to explain himself. "We were attacked... and.."

When she noticed him trailing off, she handed his pokeball back over to him. "I understand these things happen, but try to be more careful. Your Pokemon's lives are in your hands." After her oration, she flashed a smile at the young boy. "And keep your head up."

Jomei nodded weakly at the nurse as he left the center. Once on the outside again, he released his partner from his confinement. "I'm sorry buddy. How are you feeling?"

"Quiiil!" Pizza was excited to be free once again. He shook his fur and looked up to his friend, who didn't seem to be as excited as he was. "Quill..." he assured, patting Jomei's knee, who was kneeling down next to him.

"Well, I'm glad you're ok, I promise to try and keep us out of trouble like that from now on." he said, smiling down at his Pokemon. He reached out his arm so that the fire type could climb up onto his shoulder. He laughed a bit as the Cyndaquil made his way up, Pizza's little feet tickled. "Ok, let's keep going I suppose. We can't fight the Gym Leader here, so we should just make our way to Violet."

Pizza nodded in agreement. He didn't care where they went as long as they had fun together. The sound of footsteps caught his attention and while tapping Jomei on the shoulder, he pointed in the direction of a couple of boys who had stopped in their path.

Jomei looked up from his deep concentration on the ground to see what Pizza was pointing to. One of the boys was kind of tall, and the other a bit rotund. "What is it?" he inquired to the taller boy, kicking a small pebble nearby.

"You're a trainer right? That's a nice Cyndaquil, wanna battle me with it?" the tall boy asked, grinning widely.

"Umm. Well, he's all I have right now..." He replied, looking over at Pizza who seemed to be getting pumped. Looks like he wants to battle... He thought, while the Cyndaquil was busy looking intense, clenching his fists.

"That's cool," the boy assured, scratching his head. "We'll do a one on one battle." The tall boy reached to his belt and let a red and white sphere fly. After the blinding light subsided, a very cute little Pokemon stood between the two boys. It had a very round body, long rabbit like ears and a long, stripped tail, which it used to stand up on.

"A Sentret." Jomei said, stating the obvious. "Well Pizza, it looks like it's time for our first battle. You ready?"

"Quil!" he answered, quickly jumping down from his perch. He was more than ready to make up for his defeat earlier. Someday he knew he'd be as strong as that Ursaring that mercilessly flung the Sudowoodo over the forest. No, he'd be much stronger, and it would start here, with this battle.

"I can see that you're a newbie, so you can make the first move." Tallness offered.

"Not that it'll do you any good!" Rotundness shouted from the sidelines. He was apparently Tallness' cheerleader... Or something.

"Shut up you!" the taller boy barked back, clearly annoyed.

Jomei's face contorted again from one: being called a 'newbie' and two: the rounder boy's remark. He shook his head and gave the first command. "Alright, start off with a Smokescreen!" He might as well try to use some strategy in this.

As Junko entered the Pokemon Center once again she noticed a few strange looks fly her direction. Well, she was holding a bloody piece of cloth under her chin. Ignoring the trainers lounging in the center she advanced to the counter and placed the newly caught Tentacool's ball on top. "Another healing please." She asked with a smile.

"Oh my, looks like you might need some 'healing' yourself. What happened to your chin?" The nurse seemed very concerned as she took the ball from Junko's hand.

"I kinda fell, it's nothing really..." she replied, shifting her head away.

"Kind of?" the nurse repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Why don't you come back here and I'll take a look at it." she suggested, motioning for the young girl to follow her, which she did.

The Nurse Joy handed the pokeball off to a nearby Chansey to take care of it, and told Junko to have a seat on the medical bed in the room. She then proceeded to rummage through some drawers, pulling out bandages and such.

Junko never liked those hospital examination beds. They were so stiff and they had that sanitary paper wrapped around it. Despite her dislike, she took a seat. She sighed a heavy sigh, hoping that the wound wouldn't leave a scar or anything.

Nurse Joy situated herself in front of her patient and removed the handkerchief that the girl had been holding against it to keep the blood from dripping everywhere. First she inspected the wound, and then began to clean it out. She could tell it hurt from all the flinching and teeth gritting the girl was doing, but she made no sounds of pain. Tough little girl, she thought. "Well, you wont need stitches or anything like that." she took some antibiotic ointment and spread it across the broken skin. She then took out some gauze and placed it carefully, followed by some adhesive medical tape to keep it in place. "Well, that's it." she said, heading over to the sink to wash her hands.

Junko opened her eyes, glad that the treatment was over. Like any kid would do, she immediately brought her fingers up to her chin to investigate.

"DON'T TOUCH IT!" the nurse's voice rang out.

Severely startled, Junko quickly retracted her hand, almost falling off the bed.

"Oh yeah, you should take this." The nurse handed a small brown bag over to the girl once she had gotten up from her seat. "It's some more ointment and gauze, you should change it at least twice a day til it gets better." She then led the girl back out into lobby, patting her on the back on the way. "Be more careful from now on." She smiled at the young girl, then went back to her duties.

Her chin did feel better from the ointment that the nurse had applied and was glad Joy had made he go back for treatment. She retreated to the bathroom down the hall to see if she could get the blood stains out of her favorite handkerchief.

Diego had sailed safely out of the way by now, and with his opponent so far up in the sky, the Slaking decided to give it up and relax for now. He'd wait for the flying painter to come back down. And so when he hit the ground due to his attack's momentum, he yawned, stretched, and Rested.

Diego landed, perplexed. What, the battle... was over? How anticlimactic. "I guess we win by default," M.A. mused, preparing to recall Diego and get on her jolly ol' way. This conclusion came a moment too soon, however, for suddenly the hulking beast stood up, eyes still closed, and launched itself in the general direction of the brunette and the Smeargle. The girl gasped out of surprise, tripping over herself in an attempt to get out of the way -- but Diego just stood there, eyes glowing for one odd reason or another. "Come -- on!" she yelped, yanking the painter to safety. The Slaking slammed harmlessly into a tree. Or not so harmlessly, since the fallen tree landed on someone's car, which protested with a car alarm for a moment before dying out entirely. Uh oh, M.A. thought as she heard someone's yell. Maybe she better get on out of here... She did feel guilty, but she had no way of paying for that. What was she supposed to do? Disaster followed her like her shadow.

It was then the car's owner appeared. "Hey!" he yelled angrily, crossing his arms at the scene of the crime. The most beautiful man M.A. had ever seen in her life, sporting board shorts and an unbuttoned shirt. "Damn, my car's so ******** up..."

M.A. blinked, watching as the guy turned to the Slaking leaning against the tree's stem, dead asleep. "Ohh, Slaking; that's why," the man muttered, recalling his Pokemon. "How did he end up there? Did you attack him?" he asked, shooting a pointed glare at the brunette.

M.A. stuttered at Beautiful. "W-well, a-actually..."

"Guilty as charged, as I see," Beautiful said, sighing. "Whatever shall I do with you? Attacking someone else's Pokemon, wrecking their car...? What kinda compensation can you give me?"

"Or us," added a jeering voice, for two other fellows had pulled themselves out of the car. These two men looked rather handsome themselves, but unlike their friend, they made no effort to put on a chivalrous smile.

"Well?" Beautiful asked, tucking a lose strand of hair behind her ear. She vaguely thought that his breath smelt sorta bad, wondered if it was inappropriate to offer him a mint.

Diego frowned. As lovely as the tension was at the moment -- it was so tangible, he figured he could capture it on paint and it'd be so wonderfully profound -- he figured M.A. was in something of a pickle. And it'd be troublesome to find a new valet for himself, especially when he didn't trust most of these nasty, selfish things called humans. And so, he purposely stepped on Beautiful's foot -- hard -- and stood before M.A. with his arms crossed, unsure of what he was really doing since he didn't exactly have the firepower to back up his stance.

"Little punk!" Beautiful yelped, having stumbled backwards. "Should I be teaching you a lesson too?"

Diego ignored his threat and reached up to M.A.'s belt, and the girl merely watched as he released Daemyn. The Houndoom had just been rudely awoken from his nap, and looked irked as hell. He snorted fire in an attempt to dislodge a loogie from his throat, but that was enough to strike fear into the three men.

"Those things... That's a Houndoom! I heard their burns never go away."

"Jackson, it's not worth it. We can always steal another car. Let's just go," one of Beautiful's friends muttered. And so they left, not giving a second glance to the crushed vehicle. M.A. sighed in relief.

"Thanks Diego, Daemyn. I really don't have enough to pay for a car, and I'd hate for Saebum to," she murmured, oblivious to what the real situation had been. What she was more concerned about was having her brother pull some money out of his pocket, which surely was near empty with their purchase of their new home.

Diego shrugged. She had saved him before, and he had done the same, so he figured they were more or less even and he wasn't obliged to lift a finger to her aid any more. Professionals weren't supposed to interfere with their subjects, though his old master had done so on many occasions, and look where it ended up for him!

Now the Linoone woke up, stretching luxuriously; what a lovely little nap that had been. But now she was surrounded by these nasty little green buds, and although it was hard to tell, she somehow felt that her energy was being sapped away, slowly but surely.

"Warm up with a Double Team!" Blanca commanded. That Bulbsaur's position would only get better the longer the battle played out, especially with its strength boosted by Growth. A solid hit would badly hurt Linoone, and so the hit-and-run tactic would still be best in this instance.

The Linoone yawned a bit before running in place to get her blood pumping again. Suddenly, she split into five body doubles, all surrounding Lily with indistinguishable blurs between each.

Molested? My Aidan? Lover? Jun was a bit overwhelmed for a moment, but easily picked up his composure once more. Besides, if Alice wanted to think of their Aidan as Jun's lover, then he didn't really feel like arguing the point, of course.

"How dare he molest our Daddy!" Jun snorted indignantly. The man was jealously possessive, and thus the idea that someone else was playing with his toy was very disagreeable to his constitution. "I suppose we must play hero and rescue him," he muttered angrily, stepping out of the store to approach Jenny's motorcycle. "... Or at least, that's what I would like to say, but neither you nor I have any idea where he went to. What direction did he go in?"

For a moment, he thought about putting in a police report for a missing person, but then realized that the word would travel to his closest cousin, the Officer Jenny of Solaceon. He'd find himself in a shitload of trouble if his cousin found out that Aidan had been swiped right under his nose. So, no cops, Jun thought surreptitiously, shadily shifting his eyes from one side to another as was his habit when he was up to no good.

Riza was too busy working with Ralts to notice the ferry pass by the city of Pacifidlog, though with each use of swift she could tell that Ralts' control was getting much better. She now could somewhat control their speed as well as which direction they went in. It wasn't a very long practice session but Ralts seemed to be getting tired already. 'She's still young so I shouldn't push her too hard,' Riza thought, gently scooping up the tired psychic in her arms. "You're doing great, Ralts. You'll be an appealing machine in no time!" Ralts nodded happily at the comment and closed her eyes, happily snuggling against her trainer. Riza chuckled a bit nervously and quickly recalled the Pokemon so she could rest a bit. 'Well that went better than I hoped. Since Ralts doesn't seem to be a very strong fighter, at least not yet, I'll leave it to her to cover our appeals. Sneasel should be fine in the appeal battles, because she's already a bit of a show off. And Corphish....well we'll just have to wait and see what she brings to the table.' She unhooked the crayfish's pokeball and looked at it, wondering if maybe she shouldn't have caught it in the first place. But then again, even if Corphish wasn't suited for contests it wouldn't hurt to have a Pokemon capable of regular battles, for whenever the occasion would arise.

Still holding Corphish's pokeball she wandered back over to where Keegan and Helios were, looking out over the water once again. "Are we there yet?" she asked, her tone playfully mimicking that of a bored child stuck in the car on a long road trip. She wasn't really bored, though she couldn't wait to check out this shopping area the red head had mentioned. 'This is going to be something,' she thought turning the red and white sphere over in her hands a few times. 'That's for sure.'

The weird girl from before was still pretty much right in Katie's face even as she got back Genki and Noa from the nurse, but by now the orange haired Katie had pretty much lost all of her patience. "All right, I've had enough of you," Katie grumbled, waving her finger at the annoying girl. "What do you want from me?"

The girl smiled sweetly, which made Katie's blood boil. "I already told you. I want to have a battle." She gestured towards her belt, which held six gleaming pokeballs. "For fun, of course."

Katie stared at the row of red and white spheres and gulped a little. "But you have six Pokemon. I've only got two. That's not fair," she stated coldly, folding her arms and turning away.

The girl continued to smile, and shrugged. "That's true, but you see," she detached two of the spheres at once, holding them in the same hand, "but I seem to be more fond of capturing Pokemon than training them. I may have six, but they're not very strong yet. I would like to train my Pokemon against yours. I think it would be very valuable experience for my team."

".....I see," Katie said a moment or two later, turning to look back at the brunette. The two had found their way outside by this point and as much as Katie wouldn't mind accepting the challenge, she couldn't help but think that there must be some sort of catch. "Well, I guess it couldn't hurt. Genki and Noa could always use the practice too." Thought in truth it wasn't really the Chimchar that Katie was worried about, it was the Starly. Having just caught it earlier in the day, she had no real idea just what the little bird was capable of.

"Great! I promise this'll be good for all of us," the girl said, doing a bit of a twirl before she flung the two pokeballs. A budew and what appeared to be a kricketot were released from the spheres. Katie inadvertently rolled her eyes, but let out her two Pokemon as well. 'I guess it's a double battle then.'

Hades, who had been waiting out in the lobby with a friendly Chansey, followed Junko to the restroom once she was finished with the treatment. He floated in front of her to see what the nurse had done to fix her chin.

Junko gave him a pat on the head as he floated by and proceeded to wash the blood from her handkerchief and gloves. Luckily the blood hadn't had time to dry and came right out with a bit of cold water. While drying the the two articles, she noticed that her knees were still a bit skinned up and her stockings were still, of course, ruined. She didn't even notice my knees? She thought, placing the cloth back into her bag. Some nurse... Then again, she had forgotten about them herself, and the Nurse Joy had probably been to worried about her busted chin to realize. All in all, the wounds on her knees weren't very bad. She lifted herself onto to the counter, next to the sink, and removed her torn knee socks. She handed them over to the ghost and instructed him to discard them, which he did. She used the water from the sink to clean her knees out, then carefully placed some bandages that she had with her on the wounds.

Hades took the initiative to remove the girl's spare pair of stockings from her bag and kindly hand them over to her. He cooed happily, when she gladly received them, and gave him a thank you in return.

Once done tending to her knees, and donning new stockings, she and her ghostly partner emerged from the girls' bathroom. Returning to the front counter, she inquired as to when the Tentacool would be ready. The Chansey went to the back, and returned with the pokeball. Junko happily took it, thanking the nurse and Chansey on the way out.

"I think I'll name him Nereus, after one of the Sea Gods..." she said, once on the outside again. "What do you think?"

"Yuuuo!" Hades seemed to have no problem with the name of their new friend.

When the ferry finally docked Crenu calmly made his way off of the boat. Seeing as the boat was practically empty there wasn't a big fuss to get off, though Crenu noticed the blond guy from before get off first. That's the guy that was battling with the red haired guy earlier...worlds far to small for my liking. Crenu began to think that he was cursed, forever finding people that he knew no matter how thin the thread that connected them was. In this case this appeared to be a friend of the red haired guy who Riza appeared so fond of, and the red haired guy was apparently in the same circle of friends as Mike, Mitsu, Kasia, and so on. From that same circle he was already familiar with Kasiya and Mitsu, as well as holding a personal grudge against Kilik who was also in that group. Spanning out further from that Crenu was also familiar with M.A. and Ky, M.A. appearing to be involved with Kilik on a more personal level. There was also that Charizard winged guy that also knew Kilik, and that pink haired girl and Flannery...it seemed as though somehow every single person that he could think of was in some way connected through association to what he thought of as a main circle of people who were the ones battling the Rocket Boss. The whole idea made him feel like there really was some sort of being controlling the fate of every one of them, because a network that large was simply hard to believe. The idea was silly, and perhaps a bit paranoid, but it crawled all over Crenu's mind and even though the strings of connection between himself and most of those people was very thin he felt as though it was much stronger than that. And that annoyed the hell out of him. For a loner like him who absolutely hated other people he felt like the more he tried to distance himself the more he got pulled in to some impossible story that he wanted no part of. Something definitely had to be going on that was effecting him negatively, making him act and do strange things. He actually had sought out M.A. and accompanied her to the seminar, and after that he took and even enjoyed the company of the trainer from Blackthorne. Had that red haired moron not come around and given him the opportunity to bail, who knows what would have happened between Crenu and Riza? He had come dangerously close to...well, getting close to someone. He had started to develop feelings and all sorts of emotions for this girl, another day with Riza and Crenu may have changed completely and lost sight of himself to whatever force was trying to brainwash him. He should really have thanked the red haired guy for setting him free and letting him escape from that situation, because as a result of all that Crenu had been able to remember the truth. "Emotions are flawed, they make one weak and pitiful." No, Crenu was better now. He had awakened from that surreal haze that had come over him and broken free from fate's attempt to tie him in with the rest of those pitiful pawns that were involved in the illusion of a grander scheme at Lilycove two years ago and at Slateport only yesterday. And yet the presence of the blond guy that was s connected to that network of trainers as he was made it seem like there really was no escaping it. As Crenu got off of the ferry the thoughts continued to burn on in his mind leaving an unbearable mark that he swore he could feel...damn that blond guy! Mere coincidence? It had to be....but what if it wasn't? Crenu needed to clear his mind and rid it of the mind numbing burn he felt taking over his body...he needed to do something that would remind him of his only true purpose in life. "I-I need to warm up before the gym battle." He said confidently as he looked around, the sound of the ferry getting ready to leave as distant to him as the moon. Crenu ran as fast as he could to a good rocky area of the beach and took a seat. Taking off his coat he let the beach breeze pass through him as he sat with his legs folded on top of a rock, hands on his thighs as he took deep breaths in a meditative manner. His cursed brain wouldn't let him go without thinking which made true meditation impossible, but he could at least change the focus of the sporadic thoughts to travel away from his paranoia about fate's conspiracy to drag him in with the rest and turn him into a social friendly sucker like the rest of the idiots that were running around on this very beach. I will become the strongest of all, no one will stop me. Not emotion and feelings, not some girl, not any crime syndicate, not even fate will stop me. I will annihilate them all if they try...

With fire now blazing on his back, Pizza sucked in as much air as he could and then exhaled a dark cloud of smoke, which covered the area.

Jomei coughed as the smoked entered his lungs, and could hear the other two boys coughing as well. No one could see anything at the moment. Perhaps I shouldn't use Smokescreen in such a confined area, such as in front of the Pokemon Center... He thought, trying his best to see through the black fog.

"Bob, don't let the Smokescreen stop you! Try and Scratch it!" Tallness' disembodied voice rung out.

Bob? Jomei sneered under his breath. He couldn't see Pizza at all at the moment, which kind of worried him.

The Cyndaquil wasn't about to be scratched by this furry thing and when he heard 'Bob' coming closer by the second, he quickly dodged out of the Scratch Attack's way.

The black fog was becoming less dense now, and Jomei could make out the Sentret's and Cyndaquil's forms through the smoke. "Ok Pizza, use Tackle!"

Hearing his trainer's command, Pizza thrust his whole body at the opponent through the smoke. His head connected against the Sentret's round tummy and sent the Pokemon flying backwards. Pizza watched as Bob skidded across the ground, finally stopping itself in front of Tallness.

While Aidan was being driven who knows where, well Calder did know but that wasn't the point. It didn't change the fact that Skorupi was left on scurrying towards the opposite direction and hoping that he was going the right way. Sometimes his trainer really didn't think things through. How was he supposed to find two people he had never met and he didn't even know if he was going the correct direction!

Pouting somewhat, his stinger tail dropping a bit he scuttled forward his pointy feet making clicking sounds on the road. As he clicked down the road Skorupi saw lots of trainers coming and going. A few of them pointed at him and said things that he just didn't really get. Still most of them ignored him for the most part. That is until a little boy with a net, who had been following him for a few feet trying to be sneaky and failing, slammed the net down over him. When the net slammed down on him Skorupi let out a strangled cry and jumped back only to be tangled in the net some more.

"Hahaha!" The boy laughed looming over the skittish bug pokemon his face pressed close to the poor bug types. "I never thought I would see a rare Skorupi out here on this path!" The boy laughed as he pulled out a pokeball and released a ferocious looking Heracross. The bug pokemon loomed over the scared Skorupi. Lifting up the net the boy stepped back so that the battle to catch the already belonging to another trainer, not that he knew that. "All right Heracross lets start this battle off with your Night Slash!" Nodding the Heracross stepped forward its large horn glowing.

Seeing this Skorupi let out a loud scream and inadvertently let out a Confuse Ray directly into the others face. Covering his eyes with his little claws he waited for the attack to hit. However the incoming attack never came. It seems like the Confuse Ray had made it so the Heracross had ended up smashing his face down into the ground instead of using its Night Slash. Peaking out from behind his claws the Skorupi watched with wide eyes as the Heracross stumbled around in confusion.

Serenity was wondering how much longer it was really going to take for her to get home. She was anxious about seeing her brother and sister, and about sleeping in her own bed for the first time in a while. She was so tired and felt as though she could sleep for days. Granted that would mean that she would miss the trip to the new region, but there would always be other times she could go. 'I know Alex really wants me to go, but I don't know if I am really ready yet.'

A bit of a racket distracted Sere's thoughts. Riza seemed to be working with her Ralts for some reason. It looked to Serenity as though she was practicing for contests. Keegan on the other hand had let out a beautiful Ninetails, and was staring out over the water much as she was. Serenity wondered what had happened to that other boy that Riza had been around back in Slateport. He seemed nice. Not overly friendly, but nice enough. Then again Sere really didn't have much time to get to know him at all. Team Rocket had blasted in before she could even get her bearings on what was going on.

'I bet a conversation would help pass the time a bit.'
She motioned for George to follow her as she walked in the direction of Keegan and Riza.

"Hi." She said meekly. "How are you two doing?"

Junko and Hades decided to traipse around on the beach for a bit before heading off to visit with Jasmine. The young girl peered out over the beautiful ocean, wind playfully blowing her hair. She watched out of the corner of her eye as her ghost seemed to start a conversation with a Krabby on the beach. No use trying to catch it... She thought, I don't need more than one water type at the moment. "Let's head to the Gym." she said turning around. The purple haired girl was almost knocked off her feet(again) when she came face to face with a scantily-clad girl, who must have been standing right behind her for a while. The girl wore a slightly revealing blue stripped bikini, and she had short black hair.

"Hey! Don't you know that this area of the beach is off limits to kids." The bikini girl huffed angrily.

Kids? You can't be too much older than me... Junko thought, her face quickly turning to angry mode, which ironically, wasn't very angry looking in the least. She looked the bikini girl up and down in a bit of an obvious way. Pfft, her chest isn't even as big as mine.

"Really now?" Junko replied with a chuckle. "Show me legal documentations of ownership of this beach and I'll go about my merry way." Bikini obviously wasn't expecting a response like that and her contempt was notably rising. People like this actually existed outside from television? She's probably the type that's used to getting her way with everything. The matter was a bit laughable to Junko. She never cared for spoiled people very much.

Bikini held her breath for a bit and her face changed from a orange-tan to red rather quickly. "Look you," she said with a rather demeaning tone. "This is where my friends and I hang out, you should just leave."

Junko immediately dropped to the ground and crossed her legs in the sand. "Nope!" she said happily. This was truly a child's battle. The fact that the purple-clad girl was about to leave anyway didn't matter. It was the principle!

Hades watched as the event unfolded in front of him. What are they doing? Well, whatever. He was having a rather sophisticated heart-to-heart with the local crustacean.

Bikini stomped her foot in the sand out of great annoyance. "I guess I'll just have to beat you horribly in a battle to get you to leave!" the girl said pulling a pokeball from God knows where. She threw it in an overly girly manner, revealing the little Oddish that had awaited inside.

And so, after Diego had properly rinsed off the affected areas of the mural, the trio set off in the general direction of home. Diego had planted himself arbitrarily on Daemyn's back, although the Houndoom sure did not appreciate that; he bucked hard, having the poor fellow land unceremoniously about thirty feet away.

M.A. had rushed over with due concern, but Diego merely bounced off the airbed he had managed to paint before impact. For all of M.A.'s admonishing, Daemyn merely snorted and continued to trot on her left side, Diego on the right. It didn't look like the Houndoom was out to make friends, though Diego could care less, having surreptitiously painted a yellow happy face on the canine's rump.

That said, they had a lovely and rather uneventful walk through Lilycove. Although trouble naturally sought the girl out, she didn't reciprocate -- this basically equated to general quiet times between her minor disasters. Daemyn was content to just be by M.A.'s side -- with some training, he would have been a wonderful house pet -- while Diego simply observed the world through his drowsy eyes. He had traveled to the busy town of Lilycove before with his master, and besides the cliffs and the oceans, didn't much like it. It was too full of people. People were despicable things, always so hypocritical. See that male smile at his mate, handing her flowers. It seemed sweet, but Diego's perception of flow and emotion within a scene was very acute -- that man just wanted to get in her pants. All about them, people were forcing small talk as to fill the void of their own ugly awkwardness. Humans were awful things. His master had been the only straightforward one he had ever met, always honest with himself and others, even if that did get him in trouble. His chalet, M.A., seemed alright too as far as humans went. Agreeable, although a bit air-headed and aloof. Troublesome at times, but not of her own accord and greed. And relaxed, not too presumptuous. Wasn't always truthful, but humans did vie for tact.

Miraculously, the girl did not get lost this time (granted, Saebum had drawn her a map) and easily found her way back to the shoddy building that Sae and Rein had claimed. "I'm baaaack," she sing-songed into the dark building, once again clambering to the dark stairs before emerging into the roomy loft that would be her brother and fiance's home. Diego had nearly stepped on a nail that surely would have given him Tetanus, but Daemyn and all his night vision roughly shoved him away from the pointy doom. His glare clearly stated that he had no fondness for the drooling painter, but that it'd be troublesome for M.A. to have to worry about him. Diego grinned loopily in response -- see how honest Pokemon were?

Upon getting upstairs, a broadly smiling Rein and a grumpy Sae were sitting around their make shift table, namely a large box and some stools. M.A. didn't have to study body language like Rein had to know that Saebum was sulking for one reason or another. "We have a surprise for you~" Rein sang, pulling out something wrapped in a blanket.

"You know how you wanted a Tropius? Well, if you can get this stubborn bugger to hatch, it's all yours."

Jaeshan eyed the Meditate Pokemon warily before turning to Butterfree. "Well, might as well get this over with. Give it your Silver Wind," he said, waving his arm almost dismissively. Butterfree chittered happily and flapped her wings a few times, creating a sharp gust of silvery, sparkling wind that seemed to head right for the Meditite.

"Not so fast!" the battle girl piped up, hands planted firmly on her hips. "We'll show you that cheaters do not prevail in our gym! You know what to do, Meditite!" She clapped her hands loudly, and the small Pokemon brought its hands together and closed its eyes. A split second later it jumped high into the air, doing a graceful and well-practiced flip. By the time it landed, the Silver Wind had passed it by, and the Meditite stood there, wearing a rather smug smirk, matched only by the one its trainer wore. "How do you like our Detect technique?" she asked mockingly. "Justice will prevail!"

Jaeshan wasn't really impressed by the display. In fact, he was more annoyed that this battle would drag on longer than necessary. He wasn't a cocky person, not in the slightest, but even he knew that his Butterfree was much, much more experienced than the battle girl's Meditite. He also couldn't help but wonder how many times the girl would say 'prevail' before the fight was done. "It was all right," the blonde replied coyly, pushing his stubborn hair out of his eyes and smirking at the girl. If he remembered correctly, Detect, like it's relative Protect, became less likely to succeed if used in succession, so chances were good that the battle girl wouldn't be using it again so soon. "Gust attack, Butterfree," he commanded, his tone a little sharper than he would normally use. The butterfly let out a cry and kicked up gust of wind, this one not nearly as flashy as the last, and sent it spiraling towards the Meditite. "Detect that," Jaeshan murmured under his breath.

"Well, don't do that," he said with a sigh, "I saw it. A red aura, sort of like the one when Giovanni had made you really mad before. It hurts you, I know it does. Just like that healing thing you do," his hands tensed up on hers, "it takes away from you. And I know you can't control your emotions, but if you could...keep your sorrow or whatever it is that causes that red stuff to show up and make sure it doesn't happen again." Kilik stood up, still holding onto her hand. "I think you should get more rest. But I promise I'll be back by the time you wake up again, okay?" He leaned down and kissed her forehead, giving her hand another light squeeze before heading out the door, followed closely behind by Cable.

Kilik's arms were crossed over his chest and he closed his eyes as he walked out of the Center. Given the time that's passed, he thought, It's no doubt that Napalm's been able to get stronger and evolve. If Cable did, there's no denying it - the rival bond the two of them share is too strong to ignore it. With me being bedridden, though, Napalm's had the chance to surpass him. I want Mike to have a real challenge when he comes back around! "Cable!" he barked, walking out of Lilycove's borders, "I think it's time we did some training. And who better to train with than Aggron?" He pulled out the Great Ball and gave it a flick of his wrist, revealing the gargantuan tyrant of a Pokemon.

Cable readied himself. He knew what to expect from Aggron; he wasn't exactly the hardest book to read. With his advantage in speed, as well as his favorite Brick Break attack at the ready, the Electabuzz knew that he could pull off a victory with minimal effort.Aggron looked around. Where was that plug? Didn't Kilik always have that little thing attached to the hip? Unless that yellow thing standing in front of him was that plug and he managed to evolve. He let out a roar of approval. Good going! He finally made himself useful in the big leagues! When he looked at Kilik, the boy was shuffling through his bag. What was he doing now?

"These are for you," Kilik said, pulling out the two TMs that he'd bought yesterday when he was with Kirsa. One after the other, he used the TM02 and TM31 he had bought and downloaded their information into the Great Ball itself. As each disc got used and cracked, he watched his Aggron shiver as the knowledge of these moves entered his head. "I couldn't make this too easy for you, Cable. Now then," Kilik cleared his throat, discarding the used TMs, "Let's use one of those new moves! Aggron, go with Dragon Claw!"

Mazarin was too busy whistling to himself before he heard an explosion. He turned around suddenly and blinked. Were buildings supposed to be on fire? There's no way. That's not right. He placed a hand on his chin and tapped his foot. "Now, why would this building be on fire? That's the psychiatric ward, and that place where I left Mike. But he's under top security, so it couldn't be!" He turned around and began to skip happily to celebrate his victory before he stopped to think again.

"Nope, nope. That's definitely Mike. Well, damn," he sighed, putting his fists on his hips, "Looks like I've got more work to do. Maybe that'll mean more pay!" he chortled.

(( Weak a** Touya post. . . ))

It was a rather short and uneventful trip to Lilycove. Touya had managed to drop off the package without anyone noticing his prescence. "Give this package to the annoying purple headed girl please," the directed the nurse before heading off. No later than that he was off once more on his Dragonite, flying to Kanto.

[x]

Hah, as if I've got any control of it any longer Mitsu thought bitterly, her lips in a hard line. Her arms folded across one another almost glaring at the boy as he spoke. Who was he to tell her what to do? He barely knew her! She was just grasping onto that new found confidence and she didn't need anyone knocking it. And the he kissed her. Nothing big, but it had surprised her. She pouted as her arms remained folded. She didn't like getting caught off guard like that.

Weeeell. There was nothing to do left. She attempted another short nap but failed miserably. "Might as wel walk around," she thought happily, brushing the recent events back into her mind where they'd hopefully would stay undisturbed. It was almost uncanny how she had the ability to just forget things like that. At least up to a point.

She hopped out of bed, nearly tripping on the sheets, before landing half intact on the solid ground below. She dismounts and she sticks it! The crowd goes wild. Raaaaah. Raaaaah. Mitsu chuckled, the slight trip being far from an Olpymic accomplishment. Anywho, she was off. First stop, the computer!

The purple headed girl cleaned out her bag, there was a lot of unused discs from her gym matches as well as some random other items that were weighing her down. Secondly she deposited Apollo's Pokeball into the computer after reading Touya's slightly disappointing email. Not that it mattered. They'd been on the wrong track anyways. Child of the Forest? Tch, it was propaganda now as far as she was concerned. "Bye, bye Apollo and hello Nightmare!" she cheered giddy with the Pokemon back on her team. "We're back in business," she grinned.
