LadyDelaidra Jenannen LadyDelaidra So, who's seeeeeeen Elizabeth the Movie? 8D *shakes head* I don't see many movies, especially since I had my little one, and my hubby works nights. cry If you ever get a chance to rent it, I reccommend it. 3nodding It's not a kid movie, though. >___>;; I'm coming to find that a lot of the kid movies aren't kid movies either. I mean think about disney movies for a minute. You think Disney and you think kids, but look at Pocahontas, Murder, War... Sleeping Beauty (one of my fave Disney movies) the end there with the dragon that scares my little one.

So we have some Hello Kitty videos specifically geared for children ages 2-5 that she likes to watch, and She's driving me crazy with her Strawberry Shortcake shows!
She also likes "Gampa Misses Ro'ers" (Mr. Roger's) and Between the Lions.

There are things out there that are targeted toward young children, my friends 2 year old daughter loves Dora. But I don't remember those sort of things when I was a kid. I look back on some of the shows I used to watch as a child and I'm amazed I made it through my youth without being frightened to death.

Good night Kari~
Amen on the "not really a kid movie." "Willy Wonka," anyone? (The original.) I had nightmares about that train ride.
And if you go to Disneyland with a young child, skip Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. You get hit by a train and GO STRAIGHT TO HELL. WTF? '~'
Jonathan will be all about the Veggie Tales.

It just really surprised me the firs time I sat down to watch a disney movie after I had my daughter and... Whoa! They're not all child friendly. She does seem to like Cinderella, though we haven't made it all the way through yet.
Yeah, I remember shows like He-Man and She-ra and What was it Wild Cats maybe... Then there were the Smurfs and the Snorks...

Jonathan will be all about the Veggie Tales. I love Veggie Tales!!! Especially Silly Songs with Larry *Sings* Oh... Everybody's got a water buffalo... *trails off*
We were watching Minnesota Cuke with her though, and that episode had a part in it that scared her (the part with the giant snowman).
