Nyl wasn't sure if she'd actually said that out loud or not. She sank to the floor, looking at the fallen petals.

Clow sighed, and shrugged his shoulders. He then looked back at them over his shoulder. He had just returned and already he had a mission. He gave them a look of shame, and then walked down off the porch, talking to them.
"...I'll go."

Seph looked at Reeve and slowly released him. Seph took one step, standing next to where Tut's body was. His head was hung very low as he fell to one knee, his hand where Tut's shoulder was. His shojiki.. his friend.. was gone.
"He's.." He couldn't finish. Not for his own good.
He felt his body rocking back and forth slowly, but couldn't do anything about it. He put a hand on Nyl's shoulder, squeezing softly.

There was a day not long ago when you would have exploded at this. ...You did explode. At something very like this. Are you so different now?
Nyl picked up the rose, holding it as though she were afraid it might break. She wanted to say something to Seph, but she couldn't get thoughts through to be words. Something bumped into her arm, and Nyl looked down at the white fox.
You're... Wordlessly, she held out the rose to it, and it took it lightly and ran off down the hall, presumably toward Nyl's room. Nyl sighed. The smell of blood and roses.
She stood up, outwardly completely composed. "Sephiroth...what was it you wanted to say to me?"

She wouldn't get away get away with this. Tutsumi was like his brother of opposites. He never had a real brother...and Tutsumi did a good job, taking care of him when he first joined. As he made his way down the steps, a large shadow quickly passed over him, and when it was gone...so was Clow.
Moments later, he was in the forest, tracking her down with ease, gaining on her.
"Fenris! You might as well slow down. Either way...I'll catch up to you!"

Fenris heard something behind her as she sped up. She thought they were coming to kill her as well. That would not be good. She soon came to a river as she jumped over it, barelly making it, and kept on going, trying to stay away from whoever it was. Maybe it was Reeve... he would be able to exact revenge, and she was pretty sure the man had more ways than she could think of to kill somebody.

He looked up at Nyl. She was calm, but that was a shell. He could see it in her eyes. He stood too and faced her. Unable to speak, he simply met her gaze, tears rolling down his cheeks. He hugged her tightly and suddenly, trying to keep a grip on his sanity. He didn't make any noise until he spoke.
"Compared to this, it seems so insignificant.."

She hugged him back just as tightly. Something - perhaps the petals scattered on the floor - kept her from crying. "You wouldn't have brought it up if it weren't about to become significant."

Just then four shuriken passed her; two on each side, and then looped around and came back. The moonlight gleamed against what seemed to be thin, barely uncuttable wire attached to them. Then they spun around Fenris swiftly. In a matter of seconds though, the wire tightened around her body.
Clow had wire tied around the ends of his fingers of his right hand, as he held it out, towards her, palm open. He had put his hand into a fist and then pulled back tightening the wire a bit, hoping the wire would hold for a bit longer. This was one of his old techniques he used mainly while on survival...when he had to hunt...

Fenris saw the shuriken fly up beside her an loop around, who had such horrible aim. Then she felt it as wire wrapped aroundher. She blinked, stopping in her tracks, then being tugged back by someone on the other end as she fell down, staring up at the sky. It was the end for her... so earlly? She shook in fear, looking around, panickingas her senses screwed up a bit more, then slowly started to restore themselves as the blurry person, she saw, was Clow...
