Sammy jerked up from her sleep and yelled, "Holy red rover!" She then looked around, realizing that a giant oreo was not chasing her. "Guess it must've been a dream... sweatdrop " Looking around, Sammy wondered if anyone was there.

----------------------------------------------------------------
The past few days were cloudy and depressing for Ike. He had finally left the Whirl Islands and journeyed to Goldenrod City, staying clear of the Game Corner, mind you.
The threatening tip Thard had gave the Team was frightening, although helpful. Ike could only think of one person Archie would target, and more than one reason why Archie would target this person. The infamous Marty, Ike's godfather, lead the allied duo Team Aqua and Team Galactic last year into a frenzy on Tsunami's doorstep that still scars Archie's memory. It would be no surprise to Ike if he'd already reached Marty, but Ike refused to think about the possibility.

Ike had made his way to the Train Station and boarded a train bound for Saffron City. Upon sitting in the near-empty passenger car, he sat opposite of a window.
"Good Afternoon Passengers, my name is Jordan and I will be your conductor. Please keep in mind-" the voice of the conductor trailed off. Ike was no longer paying attention to anyone or anything. He was simply leaned back in his seat, staring at the window across from him with a blank face.
Even though the train ride was boring, he didn't want to put his partners in harm's way flying to Sinnoh. There was to be enough action expected and everyone deserved a fair rest before the storm of fights they were sure to experience.
Ike was watching his reflection in the window. The train was entering a mountainous region, but Ike couldn't focus his eyes to the beautiful scenery behind his reflection.
...His clone was staring right back at him. His reflection was almost mocking him. It was laughing at his misery. Ike couldn't look away, though. He was so fixed upon it. His clone, smirking at Ike's presence through the train window, moving 100 miles per hour.
The lights flickered as the train entered a tunnel. Ike's clone in the window faded away as a new image came to the glass. Ike was staring face to face with Archie. The Tsunami boss observed the sitting Aqua Chief. He was not happy of Ike's presence. He eyebrows showed his displeasure, his eyes burned with a blue fury. Ike turned his head away from the window, his face still showing no expression.
At the back end of the car was an elderly women, huddled over her hand bag as she sat. She was rummaging through it for something. Every now and then she would say "Oh... where is that thing?" in a very quiet, dainty voice.
Ike looked to his other side, down the front end of the car. A business man was tucked away behind a newspaper, his briefcase snuggled up next to him. His coat sleeves were back, revealing an expensive silver watch. His shoes were shined and his hand bore a nice, bold ring of gold. None of this caught Ike's eye more than the front page of the paper, though.
"Military Strike Near Lilycove Leaves Nothing Behind, Questions Rise." the font read. Below was a picture of a familiar face: General Surge. Ike's stomach churned at the sight of the man. The general was no doubt a relative of Lt. Surge, the gym leader of Vermilion City. They looked some-what alike.
Ike returned to the window across from him, staring at his own reflection one more. His reflection leaned forward and held its head down, pulling off its bandanna. He was going insane, Ike thought.
His reflection sat back up to be Marty. He sat in the same position Ike was; both feet planed flat on the floor and arms crossed across the chest, his head leaned slightly to the left.
Ike leaned forward, his arms resting on the top of his knees. Marty sat still, though. He turned to the left and upon entering another tunnel, was transformed into Cyrus. Ike sat still, his eyes staring into the abyss.
The lady sitting down the train car was observing Ike's strange behavior. "What a weird, young man." she whispered to her self. Ike didn't hear her.
In the reflection of the windows, Cyrus stood up and walked down the car's aisle, only to be fallowed by countless Galactic peons.

"Now arriving in Saffron City. Please retrieve any on-board luggage and politely make your way to the exits. Thank you for choos-" the voice said on the over-head.

Ike sighed and stood up. Having no luggage, he walked straight for the sliding doors and made his way onto the landing platform of Saffron City. The sun was bright in Kanto, the air was warm. Ike exited the train station and was welcomed by the towering sky scrapers and bustling streets. Now to make his way to Vermilion City and onto a ship.
As Ike trailed through the city with his hands in his pockets, he was not so welcomed by the people walking about on the sidewalks. One sight of the Aqua Symbol on his bandanna and they frowned upon him. They obviously have been fed the same news HoennTV was serving Hoenn.
Great... now there's no where in the world we can escape the bullcrap, Ike thought to himself. He kept his partner's pokeballs close as he headed for Route 6.

Vermilion City was a sight for sore eyes the next morning when Ike arrived there. He had hiked most of the night wanting to reach Vermilion in the morning. The feeling of arriving to the passenger boat to Canalave City was no different as well.
Ike climbed aboard and walked to the bow of the crowded ship. He leaned on the metal railing and looked out over the sea. Behind him, a couple of kids ran by with laughter, and an angry parent not to far behind them. Ike sighed as the ship's horn sounded and departed from the docks.

"Forgive me, but we were never introduced." said a man in a business suit. He was the same man from the Goldenrod train with the silver watch. Ike didn't pay too much attention to the comment, not thinking it was directed at him.
"Ike, is it not?" said the man again.
Ike looked to his right and jumped, taking a step back. Right before him was Mr. Ames, the man with the blue tie that works for the Legendary Brilliance Gang. Ike whipped out a pokeball and kept in aimed at him.
"Put it away, boy. No one is here to fight." said Ames calmly. He too was looking over the sea.
Ike scanned the deck of the boat. It was a little full. Kids, tourists, and trainers alike made the crowd on deck. A group of trainers, Ike saw, were eying him. Ike put down his partner's pokeball and stood facing Ames, unrested.
"What do you want?" asked Ike, rather demanding. "You've been fallowing me since Goldenrod, haven't you?"
"A smart observation." said Ames, again calmly. He turned his head to Ike. "You should really relax yourself. Bothering these good people wouldn't be much of a credit to Team Aqua's good name." Ames turned back to the sea, leaning on the rail.
Ike, scanning over the crowd one last time for any Brilliance Peons, returned to the rail as well, distancing himself from Ames.
"Who are you?" said Ike once more, not making eye contact with the strange man.
"My name is Lloyd Rodney Ames," said the man in the blue tie, "Director of Research and Espionage of the Legendary Brilliance Gang." Ames took off his sunglasses and extended his arm for a handshake. Ike refused. He instead looked the other way.
"Ikarizu Maki, Aqua Chief." Ike simply said.
Ames drew back his hand and looked at Ike. It was too bad Ike was looking the other way, because this might of been the only time in Ames's life that he showed any expression at all on his face. One of his eyebrows were raised and the side of his mouth slanted downward.
"What was that?" Ames asked, curiously.
"...Ikarizu Maki. Forget it already?" Ike fired at Ames annoyingly. Something in his gut told him telling this man his name was a mistake, but Ike shut it out knowing Ames was taking orders from clones, without knowing it.
Ames put his sunglasses back on and returned to the ocean. "...Maki, is it? Of all the names..." he simply said, "... You're the one who lived."
Ames removed himself from the railing and went to walk away, but Ike called out to him, not caring who heard. Curiosity killed the cat.
"We all survived the attack, if you want to know!" yelled Ike. Afterward he felt a sense of accomplishment. Ames stopped and turned around, smirking.
"It would seem as though I know more about you than you yourself. But I suppose you have the man in the gray coat to fill you in. Heh." Ames said calmly. He then disappeared into the crowd.
Ike attempted to fallow the man, but failed. How did he know who Marty was? Marty always wore a gray, sleeveless coat. Ike stood on his toes, trying to look over the crowd. Although he didn't get the whole cake, he got a slice as he saw a familiar, bulky Brilliance Gang Peon in the distance. He was entering a hatch in the ship that lead below decks. Ike decided to fallow the Peon.
Ike fallowed the Peon down to the cargo hold. The Peon was looking for something. When he turned around, he spotted Ike and jumped.
"Huh? Oh hey, I remember you! Ha. Slateport City, right?" said the Peon. He was right. It was the same fat, husky Peon from the Poaching Sting Aqua held with the Pokemon League. The Peon whipped out a Pokeball. "I spent some nasty time in the slammer for that!"
Ike quickly released Lucario. "Glad to see you got out. IceBox's the name, right?" stated Ike sarcastically.
IceBox called out his Raichu. "Let's do him in, Raichu. We need a warm-up for our real target!"
The Raichu held it's fists in the air, "Raii!!!" it cried, emitting an electrical charge.
Before Ike could give Lucario an attack, the Raichu moved in with a quick-attack, an unlikely move for a Raichu. Richu rammed itself into Lucario, sending them both into a wooden crate. Lucario pushed Raichu off and went in for a Force Palm. Lucario's fist shimmered with white light as he jabbed the mouse pokemon. Raichu was sent back, phased from the blow it just received in the stomach.
"Mind Raichu's Static, Lucario!" said Ike. Lucario nodded and jumped backward, preparing for the next round of attacks.
"Raichu, Thunder!" shouted IceBox. Raichu went to charge the electric attack and shot electricity from the two dots on it's face. The bright, yellow lightning bolts fired at Lucario. Lucario was braced for the hit and stood firm. Once the current of power stopped, Lucario got back to his stance looking roughed up.
"Lucario, Aura Sphere!" said Ike, quickly. Lucario shook off the last attack's effects and started to charge an Aura Sphere. Lucario wanted it to do as much damage as possible, but IceBox had another plan in mind.
"Raichu, agility!" chuckled IceBox. Raichu immediately started to dart around the cargo hold. Lucario was doing his best to keep an eye on the electric type. Once the Aura Sphere had a good charge, Lucario fired it directly ahead of where the Raichu was darting. Raichu could not stop in time and was hit with it's full force, knocking it out.
IceBox recalled his Raichu, angry at his partner. "Rah! Go Luxio!" he said, calling out his second pokemon.

"Lucario, up for another round?" asked Ike. Lucario, although beaten up from Raichu, was still willing to battle. Ike vowed not to keep Lucario in to the point of fainting.
"Alright, Bone Rush!" commanded Ike, pointing at IceBox and Luxio. Lucario went rushing at the duo, grabbing a long, skinny bone that appeared out of light. He leaped in what limited space he had and went down on the two, hitting them both with his weapon. The attack had a strong deal on Luxio, but IceBox knocked the weapon from Lucario's hand, sending it flying through a small, round window. The waves outside sent water splashing through, covering the floor with puddles of sea water.
"Luxio, Discharge!" ordered IceBox. Luxio stood in one of the puddles and set off the electric attack. The water on the floor amplified the attack and hit Lucario hard. Lucario fell to the floor, paralyzed.

"Return!" said Ike quickly, recalling Lucario. To take away from IceBox's advantage, Ike called out Swampert. "Alright Swamp!" said Ike, "Mud Bomb!"
Swampert opened his mouth and spat out globs of mud at Luxio, exploding on impact. The blow knocked Luxio out.
IceBox was furious. "NO! Useless pokemon!" he said, recalling his fighter.
"And that is why you fail." Said the man in the blue tie, Ames, behind Ike. Swampert jumped in between Ike and Ames.
"You said there was no need to fight!" stated Ike, his fists curled at the man.
"I did. You started this one I'm afraid. Fredric here was only retriving my briefcase for me." stated Ames. IceBox started to grind his teeth at the sound of his own name, but Ames shot him a nasty look and pointed to the stairway. "Away with you! You've disappointed the Brilliance for the last time!"
"Sir! but..." stuttered the Peon. IceBox must of understood the pain Ames could bring him, as he covered up his LBG tattoo as he walked by the Director.
"I know what you're up to! Who's your target?" shot Ike at Ames.
Ames fallowed his lesser out of the cargo hold, but stopped to say one last thing, ignoring Ike's question.

"You fight like your father, by the way."

Ike stood frozen as Ames turned to leave the cargo hold. Swampert looked puzzled as he turned to Ike. "Where is your dad, anyway?" Swampert asked. Ike shook his head. He never wanted to face the facts. He always referred to his parents as 'missing'. But the cold truth was: they had been dead all of Ikarizu's life.

(Part two coming soon...)

(MISSION: Down, but not Out - Continued)

By the time Ike reached the deck of the ship to chase Ames and the Peon, the boat was docked in Canalave City. The two were long gone.
"Come on, we should hurry to find Marty." said Swampert. Ike agreed and they walked off the passenger ship side by side. Canalave City was cool and humid; typical for a harbor city. Ike decided to visit the Pokemon Center before continuing onward on his mission. Swampert was more than happy to endulge in the free peppermints at Nurse Joy's desk and Ike had to pull him away before he swallowed the bowl.

The rest of the evening went by uneventful. It wasn't a bad way to finish a long day, but it gave Ike the chilling sensation of the calm before the storm. It was for the reason Ike and Swampert decided to go to the underground that night. It would be a short walk, underground-wise, to Aqua's old temporary HQ where Marty called home.
The Underground was quieter than usual. Normally one would hear pick axes off in the distance from the noise of miners. Not tonight. It didn't help when Ike looked up at the Underground's ceiling and saw a thin layer of smoke.
"Smoke!" said Ike, pointing up. Swampert looked up and took a whif of the air. Something was burning. The two looked at each other. "THE BASE!" they both yelled.
The duo started running down the tunnel they were in. With every step, the smoke grew heavier, the air grew warmer.
Ike pulled off his bandanna and gave it to Swampert to cover up his mouth while he pulled his gray undershirt over his nose. "Don't breath too much of this in!" said Ike. The two didn't get much farther when they ran into the man they were looking for. The man in the gray, long coat; Marty.

"Ike!? What'r you guys doing here!?" coughed Marty, waving the smoke away from his face.
"Who's attacking you? Who's in there!?" panicked Ike, pointing into the hole that lead to the burning base. Marty directed the two away from the flames while fighting the heat with a fire extinguisher. Swampert jumped in and started using water gun, putting out the flames. This in turn created more smoke the the trio had to back up even further as the smoke rose through the vents above.
"No one's in there." claimed Marty. "Did that myself."
"What? Why?" asked Ike. Marty was hesitant to answer.
"Not on purpose- you-!" said Marty, smacking Ike upside the head. "Accident. Trying to tap with your TADS."
"What were you doing to it? Defog!" said Ike's voice. But Ike wasn't the one who said these words. Suddenly the rest of the smoke cleared from the tunnel, making two figures near Marty's Base appear from the darkness. It was Issac and his Scizor.
Marty rubbed his eyes. "Cripes, I'm see'n double. Breathed in too much dam smoke." Ike and Swampert took battle positions.
"You know, " monologued Issac, "You guys aren't that hard to track now-a-days. That smoke was a good give away." Behind Issac, a chubby, yet built man walked up to his side; Tsunami Admin Matt.
"HA!" bellowed Matt. "The man Archie wanted me to wipe out personally..." he said, pulling out a pokeball and calling out a Sharpedo. "... You left us a pretty big bill after you blew up our Sub last year!"
"Heh," chuckled Issac. He'd heard the stories before. He egged on Matt to keep his fury burning brightly. "How much did it cost, Matt?"
"Gah! Enough to cut my pay for six months!" hollered Matt. Issac's Scizor stepped up beside Matt's Sharpedo.
Marty called out his Tauros. The bull-like pokemon snarled at it's opponents, sending enough rage even Swampert took a side step.
"Easy, boy." said Marty. The Tauros gave a sigh and a sharp snarl at the two pokemon across from it. "Now start it off with a Scary Face!"
Tauros shot mean glares at both Sharpedo and Scizor, making them unable to be switched out. The fear could be seen on both of their faces, but Sharpedo shrug it off with an order from Matt to use Aqua Jet. The stream of water pushed Tauros back a bit, hitting with good force.
Issac sent his Scizor at Swampert, using Fury Cutter. Scizor took swipe after swipe on Swampert, slashing it's hard metal claws. He manged to get three clean swipes in before backing off.
"Swampert, Muddy Water!" said Ike. Swampert summoned a wave of water from Underground springs and sent it at Sharpedo and Scizor. Sharpedo dove under the water, not really getting hurt by the attack. Scizor was swept away, fighting to stay above the wave. Both Matt and Issac braced themselves for the Muddy Water, and when all was said and done, Scizor came out with a rough hit to the head from a wooden support beam.
"Tauros, use yer Horn Attack!" commanded Marty. Tauros charged at Sharpedo and rammed the horns on its head into Sharpedo's nose. Sharpedo's rough skin scraped Tauros a little bit on impact, but Sharpedo felt the pain and flew back to Matt's feet. Matt wanted to recall Sharpedo and use a different pokemon, but couldn't due to Tauros's Mean Look. He instead chose plan B.
"Sharpedo, use Assurance!" hollered Matt, grinning. Sharpedo got back up and gathered the pain it was just given. It then leaped at the Tauros with a powerful might and sent the bull pokemon flying into the wall of the Underground, dropping dirt and small rocks from the ceiling. Tauros was out.
Issac, seeing an opportunity to attack Marty, took advantage. "Scizor!" he said, pointing at Marty. "Metal Claw!"
Scizor went flying at Marty as he raised his arms to shield himself. "WUT THE-!?" he cried, bracing himself for the hit.
"Swampert! Hammer Arm!" yelled Ike, quickly. Swampert threw himself at the Scizor and swung his arm down on the flying Scizor's back right before he made contact with Marty. The Scizor flew down and crashed into the ground right in front of Marty, KOed. Swampert landed with a roll and stopped himself from hitting the Underground's wall. Marty looked up from his arms.
"YOU MAD!?" He shouted at Issac. Issac smirked and recalled Scizor, inturn calling out a Typhlosion. Ike gasped. Quilava's clone evolved! Impossible, he thought. Marty recalled Tauros and called upon Toxicroak.
"Typhlosion, Flame Wheel!" ordered Issac as he pointed at the Toxicroak. The fire-type pokemon went into a flaming roll at Toxicroak, knocking it back a few paces. Now it was Sharpedo's turn. It went straight for Marty's Pokemon using Bite, making Toxicroak flinch. It would seem Matt and Issac were only focusing on Marty. Big mistake, Ike thought.
"Swampert, Earthquake!" said Ike, loudly. Marty looked at him. "Are you insane!? You'll cause a cave in!" he shouted. It was too late, Earthquake had already started. Typhlosion was knocked out of it's wheel, getting hit by falling debris. It was dealing a lot of damage. Sharpedo was knocked out by the attack, not having mush strength left anyway. The Underground stood in-tact, thankfully.
Typhlosion sent a leer at Swampert, lowering its defenses. Matt had recalled his Sharpedo and called out a Mightyena.
"Toxicroak, Mud Bomb!" said Marty, pointing at the Typhlosion. Toxicroak fired globs of mud at the fire-type, which exploded on contact. The move was strong against the Typhlosion. Ike couldn't resist either.
"Swampert, Hydro Pump Typhlosion!" yelled Ike. Swampert shot a tourrent of water at Typhlosion, sending it flying into the cave wall, taking it out.
"Mightyena, Sucker Punch!" ordered Matt. Mightyena flung itself at Swampert and swiped its paw at him, hitting Swampert critically. Swampert was hurt beyond recovery and was knocked out. Ike called Swampert back quickly.
"Toxicroak, use Focus Punch!" ordered Marty. Toxicroak went after the only remaining Pokemon in the battle field and sent a powerful punch in the side of the Mightyena. The dark-type took the hit hard and staggered back up from being knocked over. Toxicroak promptly returned to Marty's side.
Issac turned to Matt. "Take it from here." he said, running away from the battle. Matt was confused. "Hu-What? HEY! COME BACK HERE YOU COWARD!" he yelled at the fleeing clone. Issac looked back at Matt and pointed at the battle. Issac was up to something. Ike looked over at Marty as he called out his own Scizor. "Lets finish Matt together!" Ike insisted. Marty nodded. Matt took a few steps back. "Wait now-!" he said, out numbered.
"I've been missing out" said Scizor, enjoying the look on Matt's face. Ike flung out his arm. "Sciz, use X-Scizzor!" he ordered. Scizor chuckled and flew toward Mightyena. He slashed both his claws at the same time, hurting the Mightyena tremendously. Toxicroak went in to finish the job with a Poison Jab, knocking Mightyena out. Matt swiftly recalled Mightyena and faced the two.
"We're not the end of it! More are on the way!" Matt stated, being a sore loser.

"I took care of your buddy in the Legendary Brilliance Gang!" awnsered Ike. Marty gave Ike a look of astonishment and confusion at the same time. "How do you know of the LB Gang?"
Ike didn't have time to reply to his Godfather. From atop the Underground, the ceiling began to collapse.
"CAVE IN!" yelled Marty as he recalled Toxicroak. Ike recalled Scizor and the two started to run. Matt did nothing but laugh. He knew what was going on. Issac was up on the surface having his Swampert use Earthquake.
Nothing in the world could of prepared Ike for what Marty was about to do. He reached inside his coat and pulled out a Master Ball. He tossed the ball ahead and the red flash of light revealed a Latios.
"LATIOS! PROTECT!" shouted Marty over the falling boulders. Latios few above the two and created a shield, blocking falling debris. Ike ran with a sense of amazement. His Godfather had a Latios as a partner. Amazing, he thought.

Marty used his Explorer's Kit and lifted Ike and Latios out of the Underground, out onto Route 207. They surfaced on the side of a rocky slope with patches of tall grass poking out from the rocks and gravel. Marty walked over to Latios and started to pet him. Ike's jaw dropped.
"When did...when did this happen!?" asked Ike, speechless. He was no stranger to Legendary Pokemon, having one himself. But this was uncalled for.
Marty simply looked over at Ike. "A few things happened when I lived in Altomare, Ike." He ended his sentence with a sigh and looked down. Latios watched his trainer and tried to cheer him up. Marty got over whatever came over him and returned straight to business.
"You ran into the Legendary Brilliance Gang?" asked Marty, fearing the worse. Ike nodded.
"We've been dealing with the for awhile now... Amarube and Yura have been caught and cloned by Archie and Team Clone." said Ike, looking over the valley they stumbled upon. There was no sight of Issac or Matt. A paranoid feeling then fell over him. "I'm being fallowed by one of their Directors." he said.
Marty and Latios looked at each other. Ike saw this and grew curious. "What?"
"Who was it? What'd they look like?" asked Marty, wanting awnsers.
"Err... A guy who wears a suit and blue tie all the time... Ames. Lloyd something Ames." said Ike, trying to remember his run-in with the man. Marty grabbed Ike by the shirt, fear filled his eyes. "You stay away from that man, Ikarizu! STAY AWAY!" he demanded, releasing Ike when he realized he had a choking grip. Ike recovered himself.
"What... You know him?" asked Ike, fixing his collar. Marty looked back at Latios. Latios bowed his head and returned himself to his Master Ball. Marty sighed and looked up at the sky.

"Lloyd was the man who murdered your parents, Ikarizu." he said, sadness filling his words. He then grinded his teeth and clenched his fists with rage. "He was after me..." he said. He looked back at Ikarizu to find him looking at the ground, his body showing no energy. Ike stayed silent.
"If you don't want to talk about't..." said Marty. Ike shook his head and barely managed to leak the words "I do." out of his mouth. Marty sighed and took a seat on the rocky slope of Mt. Coronet.

"Lloyd, before he turned to the Brilliance Gang, was a mercenary for hire. He was under payment of the old Team Rocket to hunt down your father and I.... Heh. Your dad and I always gave ol' Rocket troubles back in the day. Soo much we even shook their foundation in Johto." he sighed. "Sooner or later we gave up the life of training and crime fighting... and when your dad met your mom... things kinda turned normal. They bought a house in Altomare and offered me a place to stay." spoke Marty with soft words. He looked back at the sky with a grin. "I was always the dirt-poor one. Never really had a place to call home... but your folks. They made me apart of their family."
"What were their names?" asked Ike, quietly. He to sank to the ground. He never even knew their names... how could this be?
"Joelle and Kaito Maki. Jo and Kite for short." he smiled at Ike.
"Wow...." let out Ike. "I never knew..."

Marty sighed and continued. "Lloyd caught up with us in Altomare and he took things too far." he stated, looking away from Ike. "He set your house on fire to burn us all down to the ground. We all fought as hard as we could...but the man was insane." Marty's eyes were closed tight. Ike saw this. It must of been painful for him. "That's when they told me to get out with you. I pleaded and tried to stay by their side, but your mother told me if anyone needed to survive, it was you."
Ike couldn't hold it back anymore. A tear fell from his face. He rubbed his eyes and took a deep breath. He then stood up. "Where are they now?"
Marty too had to catch himself and stood up. "You want to visit them, then?" he said.
"Yeah." said Ike, calmly.
"...ight. Come on. They're in Altomare, resting..." he said.

The two began their way down the mountain, fixing their eyes and hearts on Joelle and Kaito.

End.

Sammy was lying on the ground, looking up at the sky. To calm her nerves, she, Squirt, and Troy were looking at the clouds. "That one looks like a flower!" "Squirtle-squirt-SQUIRTLE!" Squirt yowled, drooling as he looked at the flower cloud. Sammy sighed. "Of course you think it looks like food. You think EVERYTHING looks like food... stare "

Let me preface the grade with this: I refuse to fail any attempt at this mission unless there are some really, really significant reasons to do so. You're almost guaranteed to pass if I'm grading it, with the prize money being the main item at stake. Okay, time for the grade.

Excellent story, sub-par battle. I have no beef with the LB peon battle, but you did not (as you admitted via PM) battle the Tsunami grunts. Further, you only battled two of Matt's pokemon and two of Isaac's. I'll call the cloned Swampert as a third one because he tried to bury you, but that's still not a lot for an Aqua Chief to go up against.

In terms of battle mechanics, Tauros can't use Mean Look, and Scary Face will drop the speed of one target. Earthquake should have hit Toxicroak, too. There are a handful of lesser mistakes, but I'd rather not itemize them.

You told me you didn't need a reward, but I still want to give credit for the storyline effort. Pass. Prize money: P$2000. Choose your item.

Sammy looked around. "Hello?" An echo of her words was shot back at her. "Neat!" Sammy smiled, not having noticed that before. She then began screaming absurd exclamations so everyone could hear their echoes. "Holy Easybake oven!"
