Syd nuzzles him a little. "I'm sure he'll be fine." he says.
He is oh so wrong. Aiden has made it home by now, but all the way there on the bus, he'd been contemplating about how to become more manly. First on the list was cutting his hair, then getting rid of his makeup, and buying new clothes... and maybe buying a bass that isnt so.... pink. Now he's standing in front of the mirror with a pair of scissors in hand and a determined look on his face.
Aiden is in such a determined mind set that he barely even registers that he's cutting off his OWN hair. He just does it. When he's finished, he cleans every last piece off the floor, throws it in the garbage and hops in the shower. It's not until he;s reaching for the shampoo that he actually realizes what he's done.
He jumps out of the shower, as fast as he can, then stares at his reflection in the mirror. He brings his hand up to where his long, beautiful wavy hair *used* to be and starts crying, like really hard. He can't believe that all of his hair... his HAIR! is gone. He tries to look away but e can't. Instead, he just slumps to the bathroom floor, sobbing.

Liz had been standing outside the washroom impatiently, hoping she was catching the tail end of her brother's shower because otherwise he could be in there for freakin' ever. She was about to bang on the door and tell him to hurry up, when she suddenly gets this sort of intuition that something's just not right. Eventually, she realizes it's because it sounds like there's nobody actually in the shower, like the water was just falling and hitting the tub.
She tries the knob, and the door's unlocked. She peeks in, hoping to minimize any time in which she'd have to see her brother naked, because ew. At first she mistakes him for a stranger, because obviously no one in this particularly washroom should have hair that short. It is Aiden though, and he's crying. So instead of spazzing out about his hair, she grabs a towel off the door and goes over to him, towel first, "Aiden?"

Aiden sniffs a little, then looks up. When he sees Liz, he goes into panic mode. "Don't look!" he says, and he's definitely not talking about the naked.

She covers him with the towel, because that's almost as traumatic as the hair, as far as she's concerned. She puts a hand on his shoulder though, "It's not so bad. ...I could even it out for you?"

"It's terrible." Aiden replies. "Horrible. I look ******** ridiculous." he replies. "And I can't even believe that I did it for a boy!"

"Oooh~ What boy?" Liz asks, finding herself a comb and some scissors, because she takes the 'it's terrible' part as approval for her to fix it up some.

Liz blinks a bit, "Mm, he's cute." She replies, combing out her brother's hair so she can see what spots he missed.

"He doesn't like girly boys?" Liz translates from crazy brother talk into normal talk, "Sit still, I'm going to... fix this up some." She goes to work on his hair.

Aiden sits still, because obviously his hair is already gone. At least he can try not to look like crap. "So I'm trying to be more manly for him."
