Firu Shinra Hey Fenrir, do you want to know how Sound comes into the finger spike technique? Yeah. I read the description and it just said the user's fingernails grow sharp and ten inches long, and I'm like eek .....oooookay.

Yea i dont wanna be a test subject and i can see through some genjutsu with my sharigan and i was in the middle of something when he came out of no where and attacked me

When using Sound, you can literally make something grow quicker than normal. So, if you had a certain frequency next to enamel that was apart of a person, then it would grow longer a helleuva lot quicker. But since there is a normal frequency in our every day lives, our nails take a few days to grow an inch or two. The Sound is basically like a time lapse thing.
