Shade wanders around the now empty alley. "Well that saves me some energy at least. Now I don't have to take them with me. Still, it's going to be hard getting into that city without being noticed." He walks further into the alley before melting into the shadows and vanishing from the city altogether.

A rather large mass was shown on the dark waters of the ocean. It inched closer, slowly but surely. When it would get closer to shore the voice of a man could be heard singing to himself softly, to keep sane from his village. His vessel, or what it seemed was a large whale type creature. He rode in a somewhat saddle he fashioned for the top of this beast. The singing abruptly stopped as he looked upward onto a great city made of crystal, just a small ways inland, a smile spread across his face from under the hay hat he wore while traveling.
"Another front to liberate I suppose..."
He returned his gaze to the back of his eyelids as singing once more escaped from his lips.

Drake circles over those gathered around the dragon below him. "What a pity, she seemed like fun. Too bad it ended so soon." He circles a few more times before heading north, back to Anara.
((I think I'm just about caught up again.))

The man hopped off of his fish when they reached the shore, some items in his arm. He patted the head of his companion softly before heading to a drier part of the beach. He slowly began to equip his various weapons and combat clothing, he had a feeling he wouldn't be returning to the beach for quite a while. Some odd amount of minutes later he got a quick camp fire going to warm his bones.
"Colder then a witch's teet out on the water."
He slowly began to rub his hands near the fire, cracking his neck as he did so. He flopped onto the coarse sand, a little disappointed in the quality of the beach. He had no idea what land he was in or what was going on, but he wanted to make an impact, positive or negative.

Gritting his "teeth," as pools of sludge don't have any, he waited out Netas' attacks. Slowly, the ground underneath them was wearing away, and after a few more seconds.....Wait. Right there. The ground in the immediate area collapsed inwards, opening a hole into the ground.
Pulling in his body, he became the pixie again, and flitted a safe distance away from the rubble and Netas at once. Blood dripped from his face, and his breathing was ragged, but he could manage. Now, for some fun.

Xavier cursed from inside the crystal like ice as it slowly began to melt, and in an instant he was between Twilight and Sionet in his true form. His glorious white scales were stained with blood as he snarled hatefully at the approaching Twilight, his eyes wild with fury. He was going to do everything in his power to protect her, even if it meant death for himself.
---
As the floor gave way Netas plumeted down, down, down into the dark recesses of the whole Ted had worn away. Her tenticals tried to grab onto the ceiling but it simply broke away, and she landed with loud cracks of broken bones as more rubble fell on top of her. Dark blue blood leaked from her still body, her dead eyes staring up at him with not life from her smashed face. But slowly the light and bloodlust came back as the tenticles reached out from under the rubble, digging into the floor to pull her broken and bleeding carcass away. The black rubbery tenticles pushed and pulled, some holding pieces of her body together while others supported the dead thing as life returned and wounds meaned. Finally she was back on her feet, half broken and bleeding as she stared up hatefully at Ted, a low growl leaving her crushed face. Her body morphed into a birdlike creature that looked reptilian, flapping her wings to lift her off the ground and dissapear in the shadows of nearby wall, using sharp talons to scale up it and onto what was left of the floor, then she left at Ted with jaw gapping, talons bared, and six furious eyes that were as icey as the shriek that left her, feathers flaring up for intimidation.

(K. thanks.)
They were close to the palace when the alarm had been raised. Their weapons were now in the hands of their enemies.
The three were forced to their knees.
"Well what do we have here?" A man with one eye said. As far as they could tell, he was in charge of the group that had caught them. "A witch, A merc, and a boy. It makes me wonder why you are here."
Faith had a defaiat look on her face. "To destroy evil!" She yelled.
Karse kept his eyes on the soldier around them. He could escape anytime, by transforming. But they three of them needed information.
"You twit. Ever think that we want to be used. Controlled like puppets. Kill without remorse." He went on one knee and brought his face close to hers. "To torture and rape." He got back up. He turned and started walking.
Auron spoke. "Ryan. Why have you joined them?"
It suprised Karse, that Auron knew this man. But then again. Things like this were bound to happen.

During Karse's story, The ship had made a lot of progress. They were nearing Anara. But there were no signs of threats. Xecos thought that they'd have been detected by now. He was on edge. But kept listening to the dragon's story.

Ako had found her targets. But she had also found something more interesting. Her senses grasped a 'ribbon' of energy. Like a path. It came from outside the city, then went to every builing, and the palace. Then it led away from the city. Ako let the others take care of the intruders.
This was the second time Ako was disobeying direct orders, and she knew she'd be punished. But this ribbon was pontentially dangerous. And she had to find the creator. So she followed the ribbon of energy away from the crystal city. It led towards the mountains.

Osiris appeared above Xavier, a single thin cut below his right eye the only indication that he had come under attack. "Now, now," he said and he slammed his foot straight down at Xavier's head, again almost faster than the eye could follow. His voice was now growling and sounded well on the way to insane. "Don't growl at Mistress Twilight like that."

Shade264 I AM ME LIVE WITH IT Kinsel laded neatly flipping around to face the captain again. He knows something.he thought. his eyes narrowed, he bore his fangs as his thirst for blood surfaced. He lowered his head and charged at the captain waving his tail erratically. Captain Steel rolls to the side out of the creatures path. " Another head on attack. Seems in this form the creature is blood crazed. Shouldn't be too big a problem, but I'm not one to take chances. Men!" At the captains signal the squadron once again ready their bows. Kinsel skidded to a stop and turned making growling noises. He heard and understood what the captain had said. I'll make it a problem for you. he thought. Lashing at the nearest men with ferocity like a mother protecting her offspring.

Ted flinched at the screech, but at least he was warned. Using the pixie's natural agility, Ted dodged the attack, only to fly right into her jaws. Almost about to be eaten, Ted started growing spikes and enlarging. Slowly he started to dig into the soft fleshy part of the throat, and he figured that Netas' neck would soon burst from the pressure of having something growing in your throat.

The man named Ryan looked back with his one eye. "It's where I belong. A monster like me." He turned back and walked.
Auron sighed. The three of them were taken to the dungeons of the Crystal Palace. In three seperate cells. There was no other prisoners.
"It seems this being has a greater grasp then we thought." Auron said while he sat on his cell's floor.
Karse stayed standing.
Faith sat on the edge of the bed in her cell. "So what should we do?"
"Wait for a bit. We can't look too powerful yet. And when the perfect time comes. Karse will transform. Then, we'll see." He said calmly.
Karse's cell was across from Faith's. Auron's was beside Faith's. "It'll be ok." Karse said to her. "I'll protect you."
Faith smiled to him. "Forever. Right?"
Karse nodded.
Both knew it was an impossible promise. Karse was long living. So she would die long before he did.
Karse feelings were strong. He would give his life to save Faith. And he began thinking that time was approaching.

Ako transformed back into human form. She stood before a cave. A small glow was inside, in the dark depths. Ako could feel both ends of the 'ribbon' here. Ako stepped forward into the dark cave.

Xavier was forced to the ground, his head slamming painfully and his long tail flowing down after. He opened his eyes as blood ran down where Osiris' foot had broken through his tough scales to reach his even harder skull, growling again before suddenly surging forward and up with a huge burst of energy, his great jaws opening to snap at the much smaller Osiris as his wings spread and his tail whipped the air behind him in his blind fury.
---
Netas' throat did indeed burst and her head hung to the side as she flapped in a frenzy in the air, finally landing and rolling a ways with her head attached only by her spine. She pushed herself up with her wings then reached one up to push her head back into place so it would heal, and with a growl she burst into what at first looked like a black dust cloud, but as it drew near at an alarming rate and surrounded and engulfed Ted he would come to realize that it was billions of tiny spiders, eating their way into his flesh and crawling about under his skin, gnawing at internal organs painfully. At this rate he would soon die what promised to be a miserable death.
