*Steps back as Alida barrels though and opens the door* Dunno.....not embarrassed.....quite the opposite actually...... but the thought of shedding that much fur makes me feel naked.....*L*

* Cat herds Myth through the door, into cooler air, away from the heat* Ahhh....can we please make camp and take a break for a bit?? We've been treking for a while and i need to clean and feed Drake. *Without waiting for an answer, Cat drops her pack and weapons and pulls the fussy kit off her back to take care of. After seeing to Drake, Cat curls up around him and both quickly float off to sleep.*

*looks over her white, winged shoulder once, as an animal would do to see if it is being followed to its secret area, before following them inside and laying down heavily beside them, creating a semi-shelter out of her body and wing for them as they make camp and rest for the night, sighing in relief and awe at the amazing coolness within the chamber compared to the blistering force outside* Hmm........ It is good the volcano is not ready to rise..... The villagers and ourselves would not have a good escape from the island let alone this cavern........ *glances back at the doors in thought then sighes, laying her great head across her forelegs and shutting her sparkling eyes*

Though I know it won't be as good.... stare gonk ) ~within a chamber hidden behind two large ornate doors found in the side of a molten crater of a volcano, four strange friends sleep, the largest form's eyelids twitching as the creature dreams, dreams of her fears, her future, her home, her friends~ *deeper and deeper into the indistinguishable night she sleeps, her dreams becoming wilder, faster, blurrier until a sudden halt brings her to an endless green field covered by an expansive, cloudless blue sky, her at one end, a bright light at the other; a sudden rush brings the light close and as she stares, giant silver-clad figures emerge from the golden light and stand before her, looking down at her with kind, glowing eyes; she falls to her knees in the now misty grass in respect for the creatures as they begin calling her in a quiet, echoing voice, an invitation to her, offering what they wished to teach and to accept the advice they seek to give* Alida................. Our most gifted child.............. Long have we awaited for your arrival................. Come, it is time you learned the true great ways of the past................... *the cloudless sky turning into a star stricken night as the woman known as Alida rises and steps forward, eyes wide with awe and confusion, and walks with the great beings, the center of which's hand wraps out behind her in a welcoming gesture as they all stride gracefully back into the shimmering, golden light*

*hears the quiet shuffling movements of Cat and turns to look at her, smiling back as Cat begins to doze off again, using a talon to gently scritch behind Myth's ears out of boredom, chuckling as he wiggles a bit in his sleep*
