Sian felt his eye twitch. They may have been young but they weren’t stupid. “He asked why you looked like our father. There’s a huge difference.” Sian’s maroonish eyes shimmered his annoyance while his body language remained like stone.

“As for how and why you are here, that goes unanswered.” He swished his tail a moment before he rinsed his cup and set it on the counter and went back to folding his arms. Where was his father? His real father.

Dakota shifted and giggled a little, seeing the grandpa look alike eye her like she was an alien. Why it amused her would never be admitted. Besides, she was sure her same aged uncles could take care of this guy. She wasn’t needed. So she skiddadled from the kitchen with little twitches of her wings, leaving the house entirely to go for a run. A joy she’d picked up from her mother. She just ran, fully aware she was being followed by someone who kept up with her pace…

Tiberiu stayed fairly close to her, not letting her leave his sight. His instincts kept him close, even his need to bind her to him but even he knew she wasn’t ready…she wasn’t old enough just yet…..

"If you're wondering about me and your father being related, that's a no."

He explained to the kid whilst wondering if maybe having a gun against your head was easier to deal with than these kids.

"You're not going to impress me with the details of this virtual reality?"

He asked at being told that how he got there would go unanswered whilst watching the girl run out of the room

"Sian..."

John whinged. He didn't have his brother's logic working for him. Taking things apart and putting them back together was one thing, seeing someone who looked like their dad and being able to say it wasn't was something he didn't have the logic for.

What Sian didn't let on was that it disturbed him too. Their mother and Uncle had better logic over this stuff then the kids did. Sian liked breaking computers and putting them back together. Other universes and having them cross over....well that was mom and Uncle's terf.

He just smirked though. "I never assumed you were related to him. You assumed what I thought."

"Ok, you made your point, kid. What is it that you want?"

His patience was running out fast. The AI he'd been working on before had given him enough attitude to last him a lifetime and this kid wasn't helping the situation.

Sian arched a brow.

"My point? What I want?" He shook his head. The man got on his nerves.

"Right now I want you gone and my father back...."

"Sounds good to me kid. Now if I had any idea of what the ******** happened, I'd be more than happy to grant you that wish"

He replied, sarcasm and annoyance clearly showing in his voice. The kid annoyed him

Sounded like dad and yes Sian was going to show he could be as annoyed and sarcastic as anyone could be.

"So go find someone else to help you...."

On the one hand the kid's attitude frustrated him, on the other hand, he'd just proven that Joe's paranoia was a little strong for the situation.

"Yeah, good idea"

With that, he turned around to walk out of the door only to have a man with red hair moving out of his way and into the kitchen. Seeing the adult, he decided to stick around a little longer, maybe this guy could help.

Andras had gotten up a little before Alexis would to get her the coffee she so loved. Knowing that Joe was around often these days, the dragon had opted for wearing a bit more before heading to the kitchen, something that prooved to be the right thing to do given that 'Joe' was just about to leave.

He avoided the man as best as he could without being direspectful, then looked at the kitchen bench where John had the coffee machine.

"good morning Sian, John. is that thing working?"

He inquired politely from the two boys, hoping that it was.

"Morning Andras.. uh.. it should.. "

John replied to the question, not looking exactly happy about it. He'd hoped that neither their father nor their sister or her lover would want to get a coffee before he'd cleared out.

Joe watched the man causiouisly. There was something odd about him he couldn't place. The way he'd avoided him, the way he spoke to the children.. he couldn't put his finger on what it was that bothered him quite yet.

Sian just grinned. If mother walked in here...well he knew he'd enjoy the show of his brother getting in trouble.

"Morning, Andras. Mom's sleeping I bet....and yea John broke the machine."

He teased lightly. No one knew if the coffee maker was still alive. None of them tested it. He was betting it didn't work but you never knew.

((I wonder.. how does Andras know that Raven's asleep?))

"It's not broken, here, I'll prove it."

John pointed out before plugging the machine in and filling it up with water/coffee before turning it on, proving that so far, the machine worked.

"Andras.."

He repeated the name the kid had called the adult.

"You wouldn't happen to know what the ******** going on here, would you?"

He nodded at Sian.

"She is, I was hoping to get her a coffee before she wakes"

He explained his reason for being there whilst eyeing John's handywork suspiciously.

"Sir?"

Andras inquired from Joe, hoping the man would be a little more forthcoming with what it was he wanted to know despite knowing how vague Joe was.

"It would seem that your son has successfully restored the coffee machine"

Sir? He wondered what made the guy call him sir, but didn't put too much thought into it, for all he knew, this was normal around here.

"He's not my son and I was hoping you'd know what sort of ******** up virtual reality this is"

He accepted what Joe told him. if he said John wasn't his son, then he'd take his word for it, though would share his concern about the man with either his Mistress or Arioch.

"This isn't a virtual reality, Sir"
