Arrow refuses to let Fox go too far. "It's quite alright, love. I'm perfectly happy with you there." He pulls Fox onto his shoulder.

Fox pulls back again, annoyed this time, "And I'm not. We aren't dating, you know."

Arrow sighs sadly. "DId you really have to point that out?" he asks.

"Yes, because you seem to have a habit of forgetting it." Foxy decides that this is more than enough and gets out of the bed, "I think I'm going to go home now, rest up a bit before work, and all."

Arrow sits up and looks at the adept. "Fox, we need to talk about a few things. You and I both know it."

"I really don't want to talk about this, actually." Fox states, and starts to leave the room.

The night scout abuses the fact that he has more stealth than the adept by blocking his path for the second time in two days. "Fox, I like you, you know that. I know that you like me too, so why are you still denying this?" he asks.

"I don't think it's a good idea for us to get together. I mean, I only started liking you when you were comforting me about Wind, and I'm afraid that I'm just rebounding, and you're a friend, so I don't want to use you as a rebound." Fox admits, not entirely happy about admitting to his feelings for the scout (it's easier to say no when they don't know you like them, after all), but the only ways he could get past Arrow without the scout wanting to let him out were things he wanted to do even less to a friend.

Since Fox is HORRIBLE at hiding his emotions and Arrow might have a slight bit of empathy, he refuses to move still and says, "Who did you miss more when you were gone? Me or Wind?"

"I missed you both." Fox replies, totally ignoring the fact that that's not quite what Arrow had asked. He didn't like being cornered like this. He didn't like it one bit, "You don't have any right to stop me from leaving here, NightArrow."

"No, but I think I have a right to a straight answer. I've been frank with you. I think I deserve the same." He says, and moves out of the way. "Leave if you want, but know what you might be leaving behind. I don't wait forever." Except he totally would wait forever for Fox.

Once the entry way is clear, Fox immediately feels quite a bit better. Still, he moves into the next room, which has two doors out, so the scout can't box him in. After what Arrow said, he knows he can't leave yet, but that sure as hell doesn't mean he wants to answer.

Arrow follows Fox into the next room, completely expecting Fox to leave. But the Adept hesitates and this gives Arrow a bit more hope.

Fox sits down on a chair, still not overly pleased with the situation... but it's true that Arrow is always quite frank with him maybe too frank. He sighs and closes his eyes, rather wishing he was somewhere else... especially since he didn't feel like dealing with this after just waking up. After a painfully long moment of silence between the two, he fesses up, "I think... I missed you more."

Arrow slumps against the wall. "That sort of tells me that these feelings aren't a rebound. If they were, you would have missed him more." Arrow states.
