Maddy entered the hotel lobby from the front entrance. She had been busy decorating her house and such.
"Anyone around?" She called out, looking for people to go on an adventure with her.

“Sure, I’m here,” said Nun as he entered the hall. He was bored lately and wanting to do on some adventure before he’d have to focus on more serious, yet boring stuff.

Maddy waved at N and gave him a friendly smile. She promptly snatched her TADS from her back pocket and opened the little device, pulling up a map of the region.
"There's a couple of castles a few routes from here. Wanna go check them out?"
She hoped some other members would show up as well.

“Castles? Sounds awesome,” replied N. While he wasn’t really big on studying history, he liked epic locations and castles definitely meet the criteria.
“I’ll be back in a sec,” he shouted to Maddy as he ran to his room to grab his Pokémon. With capsules securely attached to his belt, he was ready to take on any adventure.

Maddy gave N another smile as he returned with his Pokemon.
"I hear they're pretty big. Maybe we can take over them and make them our base." She joked, a smirk stretching across her lips.
She brushed some dirt off her clothes and looked around the lobby. They were the only two here so far. She sent everyone a message via TADS:
N and I are in the hotel lobby. We're going to go and visit the two castles a little ways from Lumiose if anyone wants to join.
She pocketed the device again and turned to N. "Let's give everyone a few minutes to receive the message."

„Yeah, sure, whatever,” Nunctanemus wasn’t really paying much attention to what Maddy said, as he was checking all the info about the castles on his phone. “You sure they’re not haunted? All the castles I heard about were haunted by ghosts of some sort,” he asked.
Seeing a ghost would surely be an exciting encounter and a nice story to tell at all the parties he never really attended. But hey, with a good story like that, who knows, maybe he’d be a little more sociable?

"Hmmm... Shabboneau Castle could be haunted. From what I've read, it's pretty run down."
It didn't look like anyone was going to show.
"Parfum Palace, on the other hand, is pretty well taken care of. I doubt we'll find ghosts there."
She turned towards the hotel entrance, starting to leave.
"I think Shabboneau is the first one along the way. Maybe some other members will meet us there."

“Shabboneau it is then! Let’s go, I’m sure they could just Teleport to us or something if they want,” said Nun to Maddy.
Well, if others just wanted to stay at the hotel it was their own choice. Why would they be wasting much time waiting for them? Pointless.
“Lead, you seem to know the way.”

Leaving the hotel, they headed towards the south-western exit out of Lumiose. As they walked through town, they passed a lot of posters stuck to street lamps and such. The posters spoke of Professor Sycamore, and mentioned he was looking for able trainers to help with his research of Mega Evolution.
"Mega Evolution, eh? Hmm..."
They found the exit fairly quickly and were now on Route 5. Patches of flowers littered the path they walked and there seemed to be a lot of rails set up for budding roller skaters to practice their skills.
"This makes me want to try out roller-blading, but honestly, I have enough difficulty with bikes." She said to N as they walked.

Nun noticed the posters, wondering what those Mega Evolutions were. ‘Mega Squirtle, that would be awesome I guess,’ he thought to himself. Maybe he should find this Professor when they’re back?
“I’d wish we all got some cool motorcycles to get around. This would be much better than some bikes,” he commented. “Although they might make us look like a gang, which wouldn’t be nice,” N added. “Eh, every solution has its advantages and disadvantages.”

"Honestly, I'm surprised this region even has cars. I mean, they seem to take such good care of the environment. Motorcycles would probably be a no go here."
As they walked, a Skiddo hopped out of the bushes and onto the path. The little goat Pokemon looked at the two trainers, turned it's head to the side cutely, and then hopped off into a patch of flowers.
"Oooooh! I heard you can ride Pokemon like that!"
Then she recognized this route from yesterday.
"Oh, this is the route we visited last night. Didn't really get a chance to explore it fully and learn about all the Pokemon it has to offer..."
She turned to N.
"Wanna fight a few wild Pokemon before we progress or just keep going?"

Reaper was hanging around Route 5, learning to skate in the little skating rink. His Crawdaunt and Combusken were with him and looked to each other, gave a mischievous smile and snuck behind Reaper and pushed him with full force, blasting him towards a ramp like part and soared away and crash landed near Maddy and Nun who who around the area for some reason. "Oh, hey guys, what are you doing around here?" He said as he took off the skates and got blasted by water from Crawdaunt and Combusken with buckets of water from who knows where. "Watch your backs you two, I'll get you back for this one." He said to his two Pokemon before he got back up while his two Pokemon just laughed.

Nun had quite a controversial opinion on all those environment fanatics, but decided to just change the topic. There was no need to get into a flame war about something as unimportant as this.
“I’m always for any battle that can happen,” he answered Maddy’s question. “My Pokémon still need a lot of training, so it would be very beneficial for them,” he explained further. “You want to explore the area here or just wait till we get to the castle and check there?”
They noticed Reaper having fun with his Pokémon. “Hi there. Didn’t you check your TADS? We’re off for some castle-seeing today.”

Maddy waved and greeted Reaper. "Hey!" She looked over at N. "Let's explore the area and then press on. My Noibat needs one more point to evolve anyways." "I'd say, let's fight one or two Wild Pokemon each. Once we're done, we'll continue onward. Catch a Pokemon if you'd like, as long as it's allowable at your rank." With that being said, she wandered off into a patch of purple flowers. She kind of wanted to find that Skiddo they had just seen moments ago. She pulled Noibat's Pokeball of her belt, eager to battle.

Reaper dusted himself off and heard everyone else talk about having a wild Pokemon battle and went into the flower patches. "I guess a new member cant hurt." He said as he followed everyone else into the flower patches. Moments later a Pancham suddenly appeared and challenged Reaper to a battle. "Well that's a first." He chuckled and sent his Combusken to battle.
~Battle Start~
Combusken attacked with Crush Claw, striking Pancham for moderate damage and lowering his defense a bit. Foe Pancham(Def-1) attacked Combusken with Body Slam, dealing moderate damage. Combusken attacked with Aerial Ace, striking Pancham(Def-1) for high damage. Pancham retaliated with Bulldoze, striking Combusken for heavy damage and lowering his speed a bit. Reaper thought for a moment as the two battled and made a decision. "Alright that's enough Combusken." He said before he walked over to the Pancham and knelt down to his level. "How would you like to join my team? You'll get to battle many powerful Pokemon you wont normally find coming through this area. Might even find someone you cant beat." He said. Pancham somewhat laughed at the fact of anyone being stronger than him, but ultimately decided to accept Reaper's offer and pressed the button on one of the Pokeballs and got himself captured. "Welcome to the team." He said before getting back up and walked around with his Combusken, awaiting everyone else to finish their battles.
