"Well now, forcing Owls to fight like dogs, eh? I've gotta say, that's an all time low for you Raven. You and you're so-called family..." The familiar voice rang over the downed buildings, the torn radio tower and the two female Owl's combat. The dandelion haired, dark purple eyed man finally made his way onto the destroyed battlefield alongside his team, The Four Suits. His brother and his brother's girlfriend were close behind. Finally, after catching the chaos in his expansive sight and feeling the battling auras over in the area, Roulin was finally able to pinpoint just where this all was going down. After handing Aeon back her phone, the young man began to undo his shirt which revealed beneath it a pallid under armor t-shirt that hugged him tightly, but comfortably. His button up remained over his arms and in some areas were red due to blood. The wounds he had taken minutes ago were healed now though, so he had no excuses.
"It looks like someone wants this fight..." Roulin remarked while watching the urgency and precision of Lorna's attacks. It was obvious that Anya had no intention of meeting this girl let alone being forced to fight her to the death. Unfortunately, Roulin, the usual savoir of the bunch, shrugged and turned back to his main target. Only until Anya began to falter would he step in and show Lorna what a real fight was. Besides, Nik was there...there had to be something he could do in this mess. For now, the raven-eyed man's job was done. His presence was now known and so was the force of his team he brought. With a grin, and few cracking knuckles, Roulin knew that this war would end today. This was the day that Catherine Turner aka Raven, The Quaking Owl, would die.
~~~
This guy....the fast thinker. Oh well Lucien, you can't outsmart brute force...Soliel had taken notice of the clever tactics of his Negation manipulating opponent. Thanks to a web of information, he knew the effects of the black liquid and therefore knew not to let it touch him or his magma. Now that his area and Lucien's were sealed off by magma, he smiled knowing that the field was completely under his control. The only issue was that he couldn't elevate thanks to wires and Lucien couldn't descend. Strategies...one after another. "You don't strike me as the kind of guy that would destroy a church to achieve a goal!" quipped Soliel as he made his way around and through the telekinetic blades. He was one with his element, so unless his weakness was met, attacks on his person wouldn't affect him. The Negation that was headed towards him though was a different prospect. Acting quickly, the red-eyed volcano sliced the wire trail using a thick blade of magma to do so. The Negation wasn't stopped of course, but it simply dripped onto his magma pool solidifying it on contact. Keeping calm, the elemental lifted his arms and the column on which Lucien stood flipped. If Lucien didn't escape, then Soleil would revel in the man's cries of agony when the flesh was melts from his bones...
Che phased through more and more glass based while keeping an eye and Soliel's two other friends. There was one girl whom he recognized, but could not for the life of himself identify. She wasn't moving which was fine, but the Roman woman who was slicing away at him only to be countered time and time again was keeping him on his toes somewhat. She threw a punch which Che blocked with his wrist. Keeping contact, he rolled his hand beneath her wrist, turned and flipped her over his shoulder. She landed with a thump and a moan of pain. Adding to her discomfort, he kicked her in the side with enough force to slide her over to the figure that Kate had summoned. It was Thor, son of Odin and the Norse god of Thunder. He always questioned of these figures were real, or manifestations, because in some areas, Timothy was known as Thor. Eh...as long as it was helping him, he didn't care. Before the glass lady could do more glass stuff with her glass, Thor silenced her by dropping a massive bolt of lightning down onto her. Whether or not she was dead was a thought that made Che tilt his head...her body was now a bright pink mass of melted glass. Some parts of it were moving while others were just bubbling. Oh well, at least the b***h was out of his face now...
Turning to the other girl, in Soliel's team, he simply beckoned her with a finger. Just like her friend the Glass Woman, it was her turn to take a beating. To test her, Che decided to shoot at her four razor sharp sheets of paper. Instead of cards, which Che deemed far more aerodynamic, they were large, bulky sheets of printing paper. Slower yes, but more damaging on contact.
Viktor Z. Temnota - The Bio-Hazard Owl - T.N.O Viktor tried to remain focused as he concentrated on his main strategical approach. His body began to slowly sink as the matter around him turned into water.Alot was happening in the few seconds that Viktor was concentrating his power, making him contemplate moving somewhere else, except the process would take more time and by then it'd be useless.He nearly jumped up for a moment as he heard the thunder conjured by the apparition Kate had summoned. It had struck down a girl using glass-based abilities, and it appeared that her powers had manage to absorb most of the electrical blast, as the shock didn't travel through the water. He realized how vulnerable to was now as the smoke had cleared and Viktor was easily visible. The process as speeding up and the water reached up to his thighs. Soon he would be near drowning underneath the water, which to everyone else would be around knee level, comparable to someone of average height. The others were fighting hard though, perhaps they would distract the others and give him time. Plus, if Thor could send a bolt of electricity down after he was done, it could fry all of the Phoenix's in one instance. The other owls would just have to be sure none of us were in the water.
Anya readied herself for the next onslaught from Lorna as the Polaris Owl sidestepped away from the knife. But it was enough to make Anya satisfied that the knife even nicked the girl's arm. But she wouldn't be ENTIRELY satisfied until Lorna was either dead or incapacitated. At least the other girl had learned something and didn't immediately throw the knife back at her. That was something new. But this was just a very tiny tiny miniscule setback and didn't really mean much. Instead of rushing right in to attack Lorna like she had in their first fight, Anya would force Lorna to bring the battle to her this time.
Anya moved her feet to a fighting stance and raised both her arms up. The one holding the now-poisoned knife was her left hand and the right was simply in a fist as Lorna jumped up into the air with a charged foot kicking right for Anya's temple. Did Lorna not realize that the corrosive gas wasn't just effective against metals and other materials? Corrosive meant that the gas would eat through most anything: including flesh and bone. As such, Anya simply smirked as she ducked down to let Lorna's leg simply flow through empty air. Then, without hesitation, Anya straightened back up and reached her free right hand up to grab Lorna by the neck. If she grabbed successfully, the corrosive gas aura would most definitely eat through any sort of metallic protection Lorna might try to use and then proceed to eat away at the Polaris Owl's flesh. The knife hand, however also moved to try to stab at Lorna's chest.
The Polaris Owl glimpsed Anya's hand shooting up, reaching towards her neck. Lorna twisted herself just out of reach of Anya's corrosive hand. The knife, which slashed at her chest, caught on her shirt creating a nice sized tear. Landing a few feet away, Lorna looked down to see that the corrosion had eaten through part of her shirt, but luckily it had missed her flesh, which was what she had wanted. As long as the corrosive gases surrounded The Poison Owl, it would be nearly impossible to attack by means that were physical such as with her body or with metal. Yet there were still other ways. Thrusting her hands forward, she shot electromagnetic bolts towards her opponent.
As Lorna managed to squirm out of reach, Anya scowled but on very briefly. She knew she couldn't let something like that get to her so early in the fight. Anyway, Anya had to prepare for the next attack from Lorna: bolts of electricity from a ranged distance. One of the bolts shot past her arm and left a nice cut there along with one or two on her legs as she threw her body into a ground roll to try to dodge the shots. Ignoring the slight pain, Anya's aura around her arms flared up and changed to cause her forearms to morph into a liquid acid. Of course, Anya was immune to the effects of the acid, but nothing and no one else would be, including Lorna.
Once out of the roll, the Poison Owl raised her arms and shot off her hands, the left one containing the knife within it with the blade sticking out from the bubble she had made. There were only two bubbles. Even if Lorna managed to shoot down both of those bubbles, Anya was also charging straight for Lorna behind those acid bubbles. As she ran, Anya shot the acid from her arms in a dual punch towards Lorna.
As the Poison Owl came at her with acid infused attacks, the metallic jewelry that Lorna wore began to melt and spread over her body creating a form fitting metallic armor that would still allow her to move freely and allow her to keep the speed she was going at as well. This would protect her briefly from the acid. Surrounding the armor that she wore with electricity, she allowed the earrings she wore to remove themselves from her ears and transform into dual pistols. As she leaped back, the electricity that coursed through her armor allowed her to cling to the side of a building in a feline crouch with merely her electric imbued feet by use of static electricity. Kicking herself off, she flew at her opponent, aimed the two pistols at Anya and began to fire off bullets, which were surrounded by electricity.
"I'm a man of progress. If this place needs to burn to the ground to bury you and all of your Fallen Phoenix bretheren under this place." He tightened his grip on the wires. He knew that this man was far to similar to himself, an annoyance if there ever was one. "Heh, no wonder people like Anya and Kate hate me, I look at you and think wow, am I really that annoying?" He felt the familiar rumble as his pillar was flipped with a surge of magmic energy. He flipped backwards throguh the air immediately he thrusted out his arms, releasing a telekinetic pulse which kept him afloat, his entire body became outlined by a shimmering transparent bluish substance. He inhaled lightly as he stared down at the ground beneath him. He could feel himself returning to the man he once was. He closed his eyes, the embodiment of knowledge began to open itself up to him. He opened his eyes, their bright yellow color glaring forward, slowly his pupils became slitted. He stared down at Soleil, he began to mouth countless words at an alarmingly quick rate. He stared around the details of the foundation down to the smallest were permanently encoded in his brain. Staring down Lucien lowered himself to the ground, as he closed the distance between himself and the magma covered surface he parted his hands, as one of the most abundant elements in the world began t obend to his will, Carbon. As a flat disk of carbon appeared on the surface of the magma he stood on it, with no worry of it melting of burning. Magma could only be about as hot as 1600, and carbon didn't melt until about 3500 degrees celsius. As the gears of knowledge winded and turned in his head Lucien concocted countless formula and problem, calculating statistics, probability, plans, strategies and outcomes.
As he stared forward at Soleil he raised his hand, drawing the natural carbon from the area around him he formed several circular saw blades from the carbon. He stared towards him before firing the spinning blades of death with a telekinetic push. Instantly after they had been fired he began using his wires. Whipping them along the magma covered ground he witnessed the reaction, which was a solidification of the magma that the wires came in direct touch with. He stored this knowledge for later, whipping the wires around his area he leapt backwards landing in perfect balance on one of the wires, standing with perfect balance from the endless sort of equations that traveled through his mind and his telekinesis.
((TFP---Raven))
Why was it that people always seemed to think that Raven would rather send out others to fight her battles? Anya’s remark about Raven sending out her lapdog was one that slightly peeved the Blonde haired woman. Those who knew Raven would also know that she usually enjoyed a good fight or spar. “She is obviously too stupid to spot a willing opponent when faced with one.” That statement could probably be used for both Raven and Lorna. Still, Raven couldn’t help but feel the need to want to shut Anya up for good. But, she was not about to step in the way of Lorna who seemed to need thus fight more so than Raven. So like a gracious leader, Raven had stepped down. “She wouldn’t have been much of a challenge anyway…” Was the next thought that entered Raven’s mind for it seemed that Anya relied quiet a lot on close combat, something that Raven was very good at defending from.
As the Fallen Phoenix leader watched the on-going fight, ready to step in should Lorna require assistance, he appeared. The one man Raven simply enjoyed running into. The one man she loved to mess with and quite possibly the only opponent she respected to a certain degree. Her ice cold blue eyes zeroed in on him and for a moment she simply stared like a lioness studying her prey before the attack begun. He too had also said something about Raven sending out people in her place. If she was truly that type of person, wouldn’t she be hiding in some office back in New Exire giving orders like a cowardly dictator?
“Roulin…” The dark haired male stood on the roof of a building like some sort of deluded god looking down at those he was about the judge. “Have finally come out to play?…” Raven smiled and held out a hand, usually a sign that she was going to attack, but instead of doing that she simply indicated towards the mess and chaos all around. “How do you like the changes? All across Europe this is what is going on.” She pulled her hand back and laughed softly “I am glad you are able to witness this day more so than I should be.” She pointed one hand towards the building Roulin and crew were currently standing, the smile remaining as she released a powerful shockwave that would not only see that building destroyed but a few of the others behind it. Raven spared one last glance towards Anya and Lorna before turning on her hell and moving away from their battlefield. Should she and Roulin fight….the would need a hell of a lot more space. Neither of the two messed about when they were after each other’s lives..
Cecilia stood behind Roulin off to the side atop a building. The other Four Suits, plus Moli and Aeon accompanied them as well. Cecilia's emerald eyes scanned the area, the destruction, the massacres, the chaos, before they finally settled upon the infamous leader of The Fallen Phoenix, Raven. Out of the corner of her eyes, she glimpsed Anya, The Poison Owl, locked in battle with Lorna, The Polaris Owl. Both seemed focused and paid no attention to anything happening outside of their one on one duel. Anya had always struck Cecilia as a proud fighter who did not like interference from others unless it was as a last resort. Cecilia would only interfere if she saw that her comrade was in fatal peril. Turning her eyes away from the two, she focused entirely on The Quaking Owl, their reason for coming here. However, this was a fight in which she would not even consider interfering. It was not because The Cosmic Owl was a coward, but because she knew that this was their fight. The two of them had been waiting for this battle, most likely for as long as they could remember. In a sense, they both deserved this moment to themselves. Before Cecilia could speak, however, a powerful shockwave was emitted from their very powerful enemy, which began to destroy the buildings around them, quickly lifting herself into the air, she avoided the impact of the shockwave and avoided injury as well.
(Soliels team - Claire)
While on the move, she swiftly made contact with a few passer by moron's which she thrashed her left side gauntlet towards the back. And suddenly while turning to the next victim she took notice at some piece of projectile coming her way. They seem very thin, thinking she jumped and began to do a back flip repeatedly while moving backwards she began to find some footage on the side where the molten hole was, she started to grab with both hands on the side edge of the hole and began to use that to lift herself into air while getting a good look to the person who threw those large pieces of paper. Someone wants to die, so lets see where is that piece of trash. I got a nice specialty for him. While feeling the weight she began to land while having one hand on the ground and the other beside her pants. Looking up she started to channel and began to place her hands out. "Specialty number 1 Free space." as she began to open a open world slowly the free space began to spread like a virus and started to seal up as it became a dome. "Lets see where that b*****d is."
Roulin always did enjoy Raven's company in one way or another although never would he admit it. The way his blood boiled in her presence, the way the hairs on his neck stood up akin to an attack dog's before they mauled someone...the way adrenaline coursed through his veins with enough pressure to pop them wide open. Yes, it was his apparent love for the battle that brought him here once again. The thrill that maybe only her, Lucien and a few others could give him...moments from now, when the Life Owl would find himself standing over the beaten and broken revolutionary preparing to slice her head open to reveal all that he needed to know about this magnificent power of her's, he'd think her for being that constant threat that kept him on his toes and that driving force that made him only want to better himself.
"I have," replied the stoic leader of the ragtag group of Owls. His narrowed eyes shot beams of hatred down onto the battlefield. Of to the side, Anya and Lorna were fighting each other. From the looks of it, Anya was put up to this and Lorna, being the junkyard dog she was, had no qualms about sinking her teeth into the acidic Russian's flesh. Roulin was angered, but his cool was kept. The last thing Raven needed to see was his emotions....she'd play on them if he let her. "Yeah, the changes are nice...a lot of space reduction...furniture replacement. I'd have to say, you're one hell of an exterior decorator Raven."
The young man's vision activated on it's own again, though this time with enough force to create a soft, yet sharp sound. In the french woman's veins coursed energy...aura that met at her hands....without any regard to how ready they were, she unleashed the attack. A nice sized shockwave that would blast both himself away and the building on which he stood if he let it. From his wrist shot two long pikes made of calcium which would be used for his fight with the blonde woman. As the shockwave tore through the building's roof shooting slabs of concrete and torrents of glass raining to the torn street below, Roulin leaped from it and landed on his two feet. The ground cracked beneath his weight, but his legs were unharmed by the fall. "Move everyone! Move! take out whoever you can. Dead or alive!" Orders were issued so now there was no looking back. As Raven walked, Roulin simply followed. No need to interfere with other fights before needed right? Besides, she was now his target and today. His goal now was simply to kill her.
~~~
"Oi! So you're really good at flipping eh?" asked Che as Claire maneuvered closer to him. Prepping another few sheets of paper, the Italian took notice of something. Her strange little ability....apparently, she could make fields, but he had no clue of what they did or what they restricted or enabled. Nine times out of ten, they allowed her to cancel something. Che wasn't in the mood to deduce, so for now, he'd mess with her to see what she had. "I'm over here...whatever your name is! And so is my friend Zeus! Get her Zeus! Zeus?" The god apparently was time release like a capsule of some sort. He was gone leaving him to fend for himself now. Cursing under his breath, Che began to bring paper over his body giving him the look of a highly aerodynamic...Gundam. Or transformer, whatever your imagination likes. From his palms, he shot at Claire two reigns of razor sharp paper. If touched by them, she'd undoubtedly receive a rather deep paper cut.

The Cosmic Owl's emerald eyes followed Roulin and Raven as they walked towards another battlefield where they would be able to fight at the full strengths without worrying about each other's allies becoming caught in two of some of the most powerful Owls in the world's frenzied attacks. Cecilia's lips formed a smirk. "Give her hell, Rou," she spoke encouragingly, even though he most likely could not hear a word she had uttered. Even though Raven was very infamous for her past actions and her power, Cecilia was not concerned about The Life Owl who had captured her heart. Moving through the air in the opposite direction from where the two powerful leaders had gone, she began her search for those who supported Raven's cause in order to take them out without bringing them to their deaths. Despite what they had done, Cecilia did not think she would be able to bring herself to kill any of them.

The blonde female smiled widely as she heard the building come crumbling down. “I like to keep people on their toes.” She muttered in a bemused tone of voice. She could hear Roulin barking orders about people moving out of the way. Well, she couldn’t blame him for saying that, for if people stood around long enough to witness this fight…they may just end up dead. Raven knew Roulin would follow; she had no doubt in her mind about that what so ever. She didn’t even bother to glance over her shoulder to confirm what she thought she knew. As she strolled on ahead Raven went through their previous fights, she was using them to help plot their next battle. She was in no way prepared to lose; this was going to be the fight that would see Roulin die by her hands. Soon enough, Raven had lead the way to an area of land that seemed more or less deserted. The odd body, fire and damaged building suggested that there had been conflict here not so long ago but it had either died down or moved on. Raven walked on a few more paces before stopping and turning round to face the dark haired man. “Does this area meet your standards? Or does it lack in some way shape or form? Hmm…it does not matter…” Raven shrugged off the small talk and slid one foot back, her body poised for attack. The ground around her trembled very lightly as her blue eyes pierced through Roulin’s purple ones with fiery intensity. “Shall we?” A simple request that Raven backed up with a few crescent moon shockwaves; all of which were headed straight for Roulin.
((NPC---Seb)
Sebastian smiled at Will’s words before shaking his head “I would much rather stand up here and watch the blood spill below like a crimson river…” The dark haired butler and disappeared for a moment or two before coming back with a glass filled with dark red liquid. “It only seems logical that you got to indulge in an old favourite of yours as you enjoy the show that the others are putting on for you…”Seb bowed as he offered Will the new glass. The red liquid sloshed around heavily as the glass was handed from Seb to Will. What was in the glass looked almost like red wine…but was a lot thicker.. “Is there anything else that you may require? Something to eat perhaps; a hot meal like rabbit stew…” He chuckled and took a step back awaiting any order that Will may speak.
((Naoki: With Falcon Blades approval))
“Not here? How do you know?! We have yet to begin looking for him!” Naoki sighed feeling slightly irritated, but she hid that well. The young priestess grabbed a hold of Benkei’s arm and began marching/dragging him with her. “Let’s start by looking in the places that have labs…” She declared with determination. “We will find your soft headed brother in no time. We just need to remain confident and to not give up!” Deep down, Naoki had no idea why it was she was actually going so far as to help Benkei find Genya. She just felt a slightly obligated to do so. Besides, she kinda thought Ben and Gen had been pretty kind to her. Even if the science mad kid seemed a bit annoying. Pausing in her walk, Naoki smiled somewhat sheepishly “Which way do we need to go….?”

Nika hadn't expected the man's reaction to being shot at, and was quite surprised when a shadow double literally rose out of the ground and attacked her. Luckily she could defend herself, but that didn't stop the first kick from hitting her upside the head. She frowned and tossed her gun at Neah for him to catch it. She quickly fought back against the man's double, and because she couldn't fight him directly, she was exceedingly angry about that. "You coward, why not fight me for real instead of using a double?"
Nik smiled and controlled the double from inside his shadow, answering Nika loudly enough so she could hear him over the shockwaves and fighting going on below, "Well obviously because I don't feel like dying sometime today. When you know you can't win, don't fight fair." Nik smiled and made his double produce a scythe made of shadow, swinging it for Nika's neck.
Nika backed up and ducked under the scythe swing, falling on her hands she kicked up at the scythe and knocked it out of the double's hand, before pushing herself forward, aiming a kick at the center of the double's chest. She went right through the shadow man, creating a hole in the center of him, five seconds later e melted back to the ground. "Well this doesn't seem very fair if you can just keep making shadow doubles, I'll never win at this rate." Nika frowned and was about to grab her gun again when a bird flew past her, a dead one by the looks of it. She looked up and saw a flock of dead birds flying around above her head. She looked down over the edge and shouted to Danny, "Danny! Thanks for the help but not necessary, concentrate on keeping yourself in one piece, I can handle this g-" Nika's words were cut short as a very large fist made of shadow impacted her in the stomach, sending her flying back a few feet, over the side of the building and down to the ground below. "Never take your eye of your opponent." came Nik's voice from inside the shadow. Nika hit the ground roughly, and she felt one or two of her ribs break. She had fallen more than 4 stories. She winced and tried to get to her feet, barely managing to stand up. She limped her way out of the street and leaned against the building she fell off of. Hopefully the man in the shadow wouldn't chase her.

Roulin strolled behind Raven keeping quiet for the most part. The explosions off in the distance and the gravel which disintegrated beneath his steps was simply a reminder of what was to come. The rattle of change in his pocket only added to that suspense which had the Italian wired and ready for the confrontation. When they stopped walking, Roulin surveyed the area with his vision. Knowing that this fight may be his last, he only hoped that Raven wasn't low enough to place Owls about the area. She wasn't and that broke his expectant scowl fixing it into a weak grin. He kept his vision active even if it did drain him ever so slowly only to keep tabs on the woman's movements. He'd need it and he knew he'd need it.
When they stopped, Roulin then felt it was appropriate to speak up. "The area is perfect. Nice open plain...only thing is the pastures I'm used to are torn down buildings burning with the fires of war..." More hollow quips from the mouth of the apprehensive Presidiomni. His father's tendencies to run his mouth were showing now that danger was in front of him. Taking his hands from his pockets, he clenched his fingers causing them to crack in preparation. Before he could give a serious assessment of the battlefield, he was taken off guard by Raven's preemptive strike. Unlike the usual blunt shock waves she'd sent, these were sharp and almost sword like in shape. Unable to dodge in time, the Italian's body was sliced to shreds leaving only separated and bloody remains...a nice trick picked up from his brother Lomoli...
Roulin made sure to stand just outside of Raven's peripheral vision when he created a light clone for the french woman. From his position, less than a few meters away from her, he attacked with a few shockwaves of his own. A punch from his left fist, his right fist and a forward kick saw three nicely sized bullets of air shot at the blonde. Now that they were alone, Roulin didn't have to hold back. This attack was simply to see if the revolutionary had gotten better since their last matchup.
~~~
Timothy sat with Sabrina watching the chaos unfurl miles away from them. There was fighting going on less than that away, but the battle...the real battle which involved the esteemed Night Owls, The United Negation Syndicate, and The Fallen Phoenix was before them, but a distance away. Keeping his eyes on the numerous fights, Timothy spotted Noel and Will. Sneering, Timothy simply shook his head disapprovingly at the Satan Owl. He was at home in the chaos, but he did little to help his team. To the Spectral Owl, whatever the blonde devil did could be easily discerned as just a front. It was this that made the Herald leader peeved. Keeping his aura release low, he looked over to Sabrina and began to speak to her.
"Interestingly, Noel isn't far from her past lover Will...you know, if we can enter the playing field without being seen, one of the two could easily be killed by us?" asserted the silver haired man. His toes curled in thought and his hand went to a loose strand of hair to twist it in contemplation. Their positioning was grand and if they wanted this, they could seize it. "You already know that I can't do this without you my dear...so are you ready?"
Alright Adam, the lot are in your nation. Why not show the little ones who runs this section of Earth? Have fun and by all means, take your time...
~~~
"Mmhm." Thomas nodded in agreement with all that was going on around him. Death was in the air and the corners of his smirk were just as high. Intoxicating it was to feel so many people dropping left and right like flies on a pasture. The Texan turned his eyes to the two girls who were still fighting. Raising a brow, he noted that the two had interesting powers, neither of which he knew could best his own. Then there was Nik handling Nika like a loose steer. His work made him laugh to himself. Looking in the direction that Roulin and Raven walked off in, he simply scoffed. The two needed the alone time to work out the issue of who was the better team leader. Maybe in a past life, they were friends, but now, they were at each others throats like collars on a shirt.
For now, he and Diana would walk and search for a Herald to show up. That was his plan from the get go. Since Will...was Will...Thomas had a hunch Timothy would be either on his way to him or close by. The young Herald wasn't above being outwitted. Nodding to Diana to follow, he started off towards the part of the area that still had a few buildings left. He needed to find Will and Noel and for now, resume his task of protecting them from Herald obstruction. Besides, no one hear knew of what he had planned besides the obvious bait a snare a Herald. Che and his team would be the first to get it. Thomas only sat in wait bursting at the seams for the moment that the UNS stormed this area taking no hostages or prisoners just as they should've done eighteen years ago.

Soliel's efforts were once again foiled, but that didn't stop the brutish Owl in his volcanic assault. Although, he did hesitate for a moment when Lucien's eyes evolved into something serpentine. He'd seen it all though The Magma Owl. There were Owls that could become massive spiders, Owls that could reincarnate themselves and Owls that could separate their limbs rendering them unharmed by any blade. His eyes and his intelligence were nothing new. When the carbon discs were formed, Soliel scoffed. So the boy knew some chemistry...that wouldn't help him here. As the blades of death ate through his exterior, the last one that separated his magma arm was caught and flung back at twice the speed. The others were still behind him and so would be kept until needed.
Something strange was occurring with the floor as well. Viktor's experimentation saw the floor become water. That wasn't good for the Magma owl because now, the lower levels of the pool would solidify. Having no other choice but to step onto the discs of Carbon in his physical form, he did so and spat into his own pool of magma. He still had his field to fight on and over, but the upper levels was still Lucien's circus-like home. Still in control of his own magma, Soliel crafted two gargantuan arms and a single dog head in the center. The right hand was sent over in a massive arcing punch while the other was sent for straight Lucien's strings. Either way, both attacks would cover the strings, but hitting Lucien would just be an added bonus.
