"Okay, Rogue. So exactly how is the vampiric life in New York these days? I'm afraid that I'm terribly out of the loop, I choose to stay away from the battles going on between the races" she asked as she ordered a martini and began to sip and light another cigarette.
Funny. Smoking. It's not like cancer can take me down now she laughed to herself.

Rogue took a long drag. The current situation. The pang she felt thoughout her body. How was the situation....
"Ah, yes. Well..."
Rogue thought of how to say...then thought again...then finally answered.
"Looks like you're back at just the right time." She fidgetted with her cigarette, staring at it while she spoke. "We are at war as always...and rumor has it, we've got every race scared silly, running around with their pretty little tails between their legs. Not just speaking of the lycans of course."
Her eyes began to light up as if on fire, a deep emerald, somehow glowing in the mildly lit area around the bar. Her eyes went to Lily's, an intense gaze as if remembering something and trying to convey it.
"We've found the light, been able to see the sun..." Her voice had an aching behind it.

Lily was a bit taken back and just exhaled her drag.
"Well...um...wow..." she stared back at Rogue and quickly shook of her amazement.
She took a sip of her drink.
"It looks like I did come back at just the right time, I haven't had a good fight in quite awhile and if I do say so myself I'm quite good at what I do" she smiled.
Oh my god, this is huge, this is bigger than huge...she gasped inside of herself at the revelation

"And of course UV doesn't work as well on the vampire..." She smiled at the thought then took another drag on her cigarette, her eyes still glowing.
"The other races know this poses a threat they thought they'd never need to face."

"So with this...discovery have the elders started a plan for dealing with the other races or are we just rolling with the punches, so to speak?"
Lily slowly exhaled the smoke in her lungs, watching it twist and curl in the air around her. She downed the rest of her drink in one gulp, trying to comprehend the situation. This wasn't just a discovery, this was a full blown world changing advancement, with this...it put a lot of power in the hands of the vampires...enough to dominate.

"Ahh. Smart questions." Rogue smiled and took another drag. With these next few words she spoke into Lily's mind.
We've killed hundreds on the streets by day. Before any of the races knew of our new bright secret, we destroyed much during the day, that which we could never do before, catching lycans, hunters, and tainted off guard, destroying them one by one, each elder, as well as a few others, destroying.
Not to mention put a dent in the human populace of New York...

Lily smirked and took another drag before flicking her ashes in the ashtray sitting beside her on the bar. This secret was by far the biggest to ever come to her generation and her kind as she knew it. This pretty much put New York in the hands of the vampires, no question about it.
"I see," she grinned and looked a Rogue, her emerald eyes flashing an electric green "well my services are offered to you, I would love a part in this little piece of history."
She ordered a blood and vodka concoction and took a long gulp before setting it down infront of her.
"I am looking foward to meeting the elders, I'm afraid I've been on a little break, I just got back in New York after a little vacation I took to Russia. Such an amazing place, Russia but that isn't where I was going with this." she laughed "As I've said before I steered clear from the fueds going on in the city but only because I needed to work on my 'skills' in combat, this old gal has gotten a little rusty as you can imagine. I still have yet to see these elders, I have heard a great deal about them, and a great deal about this city and it's current status in my absence. They seem quite interesting, much more involved and humane towards their lower ranking vampires, so I've heard, which is not the usual from what I have experienced in the other countries" she took another drag and gulp of her drink.
"I have always stayed a safe ways away from the covens though. My past has made me quite an enemy across the pond. Which is why I decided to come back here and perhaps have a chance at redemption in this centuries old war that has found its way to the Big Apple."
She drained the rest of the glass and continued to nurse her cigarette.

Rogue smiled. "Well congradulations dear, you've just met the Sanquinarian, DeathDealer Elder."
She flashed a toothy grin and took a long drag on her cigarette. "So much has happened since you've been away."

Alexz' gaze shifted to Rogue and she shook her head softly.
"Good Evening, dearest Rogue. You know how it is...it's a shame we must go through this to be human again..." she replied into Rogue's mind.
She has a soft, fading voice, hypnotic in a sense. Looking over at the bartender she smirked as he immediately slid over another glass filled with her previous mix. Downing it in one large sip she let the glass drift into the sink once more.
"The alcohol definitely helps, but I wouldn't want to dull my senses." she spoked into her mind again, smirking to herself.
chuckling lightly as Lily's thoughts entered her mind she spoke into Rogue's mind once more, "You've shocked the poor girl."

Ahh, dear Alexz. Human again...is this a moment of rejecting what we are?
Rogue looked down to her empty glass. "Bartender,"
With that he came and refilled happily. "Thank you."
It takes far much more alcohol to dull our senses. Even you should know this Alexz...seeing that we heal much faster.

Lily grinned and took another long drag "Well then I suppose they aren't all bad are they?" she laughed and stubbed the filter out before lighting another.
"Well if they're all like you then I am sure we'll get along famously" she smiled and took a drag. She raised her hand to order another drink and brushed her hair behind her ear.
"It's funny isn't it? We drink, we smoke, and many that I have met do every drug under the sun," she chuckled "everything in this world that would kill a mortal, but we're already dead. Sometimes I think we do those things because we hope to kill that last little bit of humanity that keeps us thinking about what could have been, and what should have been. I've never really been one for drowning in past sorrows, I choose to keep most of my feelings to myself. I've met many of our kind that lost everything to vampirism. I never have felt very much remorse because I didn't have anything to give up, I had already lost it. I'm sure that I am just rambling on and annoying you to tears," she smirked and gave a small sigh of a laugh.
"I don't know much about your past, anything really. Not that I'm asking or pushing, mind you. I just hope that I haven't stirred up bad feelings or anything. I don't mean to imply or to make judgements about anyone. Only oberservations and theories" she took a long drag and exhaled watching as it mingled with the air in the bar, which reaked of alcohol and the blood pulsing under the skin of the drunken humans on the dancefloor.

"Oh, well, I don't think I'm all that great. The other elders maybe. I seem to have been dealt enough cards to make me too strong. Sometimes my choices lack the old age. I may be old...but I'm among some of the youngest...I was dealt much more power than I deserved the day I was turned...among other things."
Rogue smiled pushing off that memory and choosing to share another.
"Like all things in this world, relationships, friends, lovers, they all can come and go, but we must take the time to have them...however long they last or however short they end." Rogue took a drink from her glass. "I grew up 20 or 30 years before the Black Death started to destroy our beautiful France...my family was among aristocracy, and I was the eldest of three. Two younger twins, whom, I've only come to find out, are still around today."
Rogue took a drag thinking of how to sum up her history. "To put it quickly, I became a Death Dealer, training and fighting for many years in Tibet and other areas of the world. Its good to travel, especially for our kind. I've experienced many troublesome eras...been around in the heat of it all, and for around 60 some years I...well, took some time off, and it was granted by European factions. I became somewhat Sanguinarian in nature...but I was summoned back into New York a few years ago to bout with the running ....war in the darkness?
Much has happened since then...as you can guess. And here I am...chosen to be an Elder in New York."

Xandra walked in, her tight blue sleeveless shirt clinging to her beautifully. Xandra was thin, but had good curves...she fit in quite well in any nightclub, and she loved to dance.
She looked for her sister in the crowd which seemed to be a bit bigger tonight. Before seeing Rogue however, she felt her aura.
Her sister looked drop dead gorgeous as always, as their whole family did. She made her way over to Kaei and handed her a file with papers in it.
"My dearest Rogue, the 'files' your requested."

Lily smiled "Interesting, Tibet is such a beautiful place, I've been quite a few times of course that was ages ago."
She looked at the girl that had just walked up to Rogue and herself, they must've been family. They shared certain features and there was just that spark when they looked at eachother, her sister perhaps? Lily didn't think too much of it. She smiled at the girl. Lily took a drag on her cigarette and couldn't help but stare at Rogue and the girl. It brought her to think of her own family, she'd heard that perhaps her little brother or older sister were still around. She'd never found them, she'd looked, which is the biggest reason she traveled so much. She was born into a family with 5 siblings, she being the middle child with two little brothers and an older sister and brother. She didn't know what the possibilities were of any other of her siblings still being alive, well a dead kind of "alive" anyway. The only ones she'd heard rumors and whispers about were her little brother, Adrien and her older sister, Victoire (Victoria).
I wonder if I'll ever find them... she thought to herself and then quickly shook it from her mind, no use living in the past she quickly reprimanded herself.

Rogue took hold of the papers. "Ahh, thank you..."
Rogue put out her cigarette and then lit another before introducing her sister to Lily.
"Xandra, this is Lily...she hails from France, a different time than our own, but France none-the-less. Lily, my...younger sister."
Rogue smiled at giving Xandra the title and took a drag on her cigarette.
