Hey TK. We're just discussioning zombie survivle plans.
Well I am, Hana is just letting me rant.
And don't expect me to keep you safe. Even if I was to have a cities worth of survivors who DIDN'T go crazy after a while, we'd probably have to deal with a swarm from zombies all over the south. Georgia, Flordia, Alabama, North and South Carolina, and a few others. Everywhere else will wander if they don't go after other place that are holding out.
And always the "lovely" case of a place being over run.

Hmm... Well, I'd humbly like to announce to the world that I prefer to die...painlessly. And if possible, without fear. I'll opt for suicide via sleeping pills.
In the first wave.
No survivors for me.

Not a fan of self termanation for both personal and relegious reasons, but I would still respect you if you went that route.
As for me... if I'm going down, I'm going to go down BIG.
Flames, explosions, music blaring as loud if I can get a system to work, and taking as many out with me as I can, even if I'm down to an empty shotgun in one hand and some kind of long bladed weapon in the other swinging and yelling till I'm finally brought down or I run out of zombies to kill.

If you can try to make your way up to me if zombies ever do attack. With any luck it'll only be a minor outbreak and quickly contained, but worses comes to worse.. yeah.
And I know that is a bit flashy, but my way of thinking is that the more I take with me before going down, the less somebody else has to fight later.
And that's only as a last resort kind of thing. I'm not planning on just throwing my life away to go out big like that, only if that truely is the only choice left.

Edit: The "yep yup" being I'm a fighter, not TK dieing >.<
I'd rather not have anybody I know die, but I also have to be a realist and know losses will happen and know my limitations.
To go across even the county I live in to save people without having a base or a group to back me up is suicide. And it would be hard to convice people to go save others outside of that.
