Giesta Kinhotaru aboly252 Kinhotaru Speaking of superhero movie adaptations, have we talked about our thoughts and opinions of new Batman movie ('The Dark Knight Rises') and how Anne "Goodgollymissmollyshe'ssohot" Hathaway is gonna be Catwoman?
Seriously she is cat woman !!! [ oh man this is gonna be awesome she is my fav actress ]
thought i remembered the old cat woman movie which sucked really bad Yeah, man! When I heard I was all "HELLZ YEAH!" It's funny though, 'cus apparently, she punched a stunt man in the eye with the butt of her gun during a fight sequence and gave him a black eye... I don't think she did it on purpose, but that's still pretty badass. And yes, the Catwoman movie was a huge mistake... I don't think we should mention it again. neutral Agreed, I think she will be an awesome cat-woman compared to .....(HER) the one who made the horrible other movie Cat-woman. I loved her as the White Queen back when the new Alice In Wonderland came out. ^8^
Anne Hathaway is just Eww. I think that she is going to mess up the role of Catwoman. Catwoman is supposed to be the meowtastic, slightly slutty woman that could get any guy that she wants. Anne Hathaway doesn't fit that description at all in my opinion. Anne Hathaway has a face that scares all the boys away from the yard... or at least keeps me at bay.
Halle Berry looks amazing with short hair, though. I never saw the Catwoman movie, but I couldn't help but to wish that Halle Berry was my girlfriend after I saw her with that hairstyle (it was like Demi Moore in G.I.Jane).

They all said "he's too pretty" or "it's not his type of character" or whatever, butv he ended up being one of the best jokers EVAR. After I had watched it I found that I had fallen for his character pretty hard. Nobody had ever played a better Joker in my opinion. Of course, I hated the fact that he had played that role after I had found out that he may have killed himself because of the role. (I wish that he had never played that roll due to his death.)
Okay... I am thoroughly confused... Who is Marion Cotillard playing in the new Batman? I just got finished looking it up on Google and the pictures looked like she was supposed to be playing the part of Catwoman, but I thought that was supposed to be Anne Hathaway. *so confused* Marion does look the part of Catwoman, though. (I mean, Marion isn't that cute either, but she does have the Catwoman prowess in looks. She could, also, play a Bond girl.)
I don't think that they have ever had Bane in any of the Batman movies in the past... unless I missed a Batman movie that I am unaware of. It should be interesting to finally have him in one of the movies... even though I am so unfamiliar with him that I won't know if the guy that they are having play him is portraying the role very well or not. I don't believe that they would be able to find any kind of a replacement for Heath Ledger when it came to his portrayal of the Joker. Heath Ledger was a great actor in everything that I have ever seen that he played a role in, but his best work was the Joker in my opinion. You can't just find another person to take the place of perfection.
Cotillard doesn't look like she would be able to fit the role of a good girl in a Batman movie... Something about her screams bad girl (which is a really attractive quality in a girl). I could see her a Catwoman a lot more quickly than seeing her as a friend of Bruce Wayne. Of course, that doesn't mean that she couldn't make it as one of the really attractive girls that James Bond gets together with. James Bond tends to like the bad girls as much as I do.
I can't believe that I forgot about Bane being in 'Batman and Robin'. I guess that I must have managed to block parts of that movie out of my head unintentionally. What I can remember about that movie was pretty decent, though. I remember Mr. Freeze pretty well... but that is about it. Anyway... I don't think that I am really going to be rooting for Bane like I was rooting for Joker. Bane is too big to not want to watch him get his butt handed to him (it is like a match between Rey Mysterio and The Big Show).

That should be exciting. 3nodding We will see, they are truely fleshing out the Batman series of movies, Bane, Cat-woman, Joker, The Scarecrow they have many many more they can do if they wished there are endless baddies Batman has fought over the years. I would really like to see Harley-Quin Jokers side-kick wish she could have been in the same movie with Ledger he was an awesome Joker.

There are a number of female roles to fill as well with Batman though so she could be anyone of them if she wasnt Cat-woman. 1) Bat-Girl 2) Poison Ivy 3) Harley- Quin and a few more I have trouble remembering their names sadly. Would also like to see a new The Pequin as well. ^8^

but my soldiers stay eternal. Nah, what I said before was just rumors. I did my research and apparently, Christopher Nolan (the director) said that Ledger wasn't gonna be replaced with anyone. I know that nobody is going to even come close to Ledger, and I wouldn't want anyone to try, but the geek in me is kinda sad. The Joker is Batman's arch-nemesis, and not having him in there is kinda disappointing... sad I can see what you mean with Cotillard looking more like a bad girl, but they don't always have happy endings in 007 or in Batman movies, and I don't want her to die! crying While she makes a terrific antagonist (she creeped the hell outta me in Inception), I was kinda relieved to find out she's a good guy. Honestly, Bane is not one of my favorite baddies, I find him quite boring. The Joker had depth and clever one-liners. Bane is just grunts... I'm only excited to see how the actor looks. I mean, I've seen huge bodybuilders, but not many actors are willing to work so hard just to lose the weight again for another role. I'm probably gonna end up disappointed (I tend to exaggerate things in my mind), but I still can't wait! Also, Giesta: I like those 3 ladies as well. whee I was always a huge fan of Poison Ivy. She's my favorite. redface I don't think her character would translate too well into the new, more realistic Batman movies, though... Unless she were like the the Scarecrow in the first installment and she just poisons people with plants? I dunno...

I could see Anne Hathaway as Poison Ivy. Personally, I think that Anne Hathaway would be much better as Poison Ivy than she is going to be as Catwoman. I mean, Poison Ivy is supposed to be this beautiful red-head as they seem to always portray her as being... and maybe Anne isn't a red-head, but that doesn't mean that she couldn't pull off being a great Poison Ivy.
Harley Quinn... I can't believe that I forgot about her. I, also, can't believe that she wasn't in the Batman movie with the Joker in it. Harley Quinn has always been thought of as being a very attractive (and I mean VERY ATTRACTIVE) bad girl in my opinion. I don't have any idea who might be able to pull off the character because she is pretty much mentally insane and I don't know very many actresses who can really play the part of mentally insane very well, but I would love to see Harley Quinn in a Batman movie... (I would have loved to see the Joker and E. Nigma in a movie together, as well... I don't see that ever happening now that one person has died from getting to be too deep in the role, though.)
