Well considering there are people on Gaia older than me that still play it I can't really say that I'm too old, but instead I just lost interest because the majority of the creatures weren't really all that innovative, creative or really defined. I'm one of those assholes who love an understandable realm of reality (My Suspension of Disbelief sucks and is why I love Star Wars).

And that's why you'd love the Nasuverse.
Which is while, unclearly defined, so ******** complicated that you need a magnifying glass and loads of materials.
Also. Hey Temor. Any news on our campaign?

Yeah, I got a rather nice read out of that Type Moon wiki lol. It's also why I can intake all the technical specifications of the Executor-Class Super Star Destroyer and remember it all.

Type Moon Wiki is hideously addictive for me. Not as bad as TV Tropes though.
I don't even know what an executor class star destroyer is though.

Well if you've seen Star Wars: Episode VI you'll know it as the super star destroyer that crashes into the Death Star II. If you've never seen any of the Original Trilogy then it's a 19km long star destroyer, with a city the size of New York built onto it's hull, it carries over 5000 guns a crew over 200,000 people - the class is named after Darth Vader's personal super star destroyer, Executor. Pictures speak a thousand words

Sorry. What was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of my voice proclaiming that the Super Star Destroyer is an unnecessarily large weapon.

Of course it's unnecessarily large, it was built to make entire world's s**t themselves in fear and surrender before it blew the ******** out of them. It worked very well too, cause there were about 20 odd Executor-Class Super Star Destroyers built and then other types such as the Eclipse-Class, the Imperial-Class, the Allegiance-Class, the Viscount-Class, the Mandator I and II-Classes. It must be awesome to have an entire galaxy to get materials from to make vehicles eh? lol

If you had an entire galaxy to get materials from.
Why not make something bigger.
Don't say. But they did. The Death Star. The Death Star was made by plonkers who actually designed it with a weakness.
Couldn't they have like. Put SOMETHING to stop lasers there? Other than more lasers. There must be some way of stopping a goddamn laser from going down a hole and blowing up your entire moon sized laser cannon.
I mean. Couldn't they make a grating out of that material that stops lightsabers? That way the stuff still gets out and the lasers can't penetrate it and kill ******** the Empire for being ******** stupid.

They also made the Tarkin, the Death Star II, the Galaxy Gun... and a whole bunch of other super weapons lol.
Well to be more precise it was a torpedo that went through the exhaust vent and I don't think blocking up a vent is good thing but it does kind of piss me off though as the Empire had laser guided defense system that were designed to eliminate missiles as well as various system scrambling technologies which could have fried the torpedo.
As for the lightsabers, since about 4000 years before the Galactic Empire was even established, there were millions of a Jedi and Sith as well as a huge a** need to be able to block a lightsaber - materials that can deflect it were few - the most prominent being Mandalorian Iron and Cortosis. So these resources are put into mass use making weapons, armour etc. 4000 years later - there is barely any left and now people who don't have lightsaber are pretty ******** - unless they use Sith Alchemy.

But Science doesn't work like that.
If a material existed you can produce it somehow artificially. Unless it takes millions of years of being ******** the Sith and ******** the Jedi. ******** the rebels and ******** the Empire especially.

I've never heard of artificial reconstruction of resources and considering modern day Earth's stance on certain materials becoming rare or drying up - I'd say it's not perfect and doesn't exist in the Star Wars universe as far as I know.
So what about the Seperatists, the Republic, the Imperial Remnant, the Brotherhood of the Sith, the Army of Light, the Sith Empire, the New Republic, the Yuuzhan Vong, the Rakatan Empire, the Hutt Cartel, the Black Sun pirates, the Exchange, the Bounty Hunter's Guild, the Genoharadan and any other significant force in Star Wars? are they to be ******** too?

Yes. For all being amazing plonkers.
More importantly. Why has nobody, you know, tried going outside the galaxy.
I assume they can travel faster than light so. What the ********. Is travelling to another galaxy just TOO difficult?

The Yuuzhan Vong travelled to another galaxy and eventually came back to the galaxy Star Wars is set in. Besides the Star Wars galaxy is already ******** huge - adding another galaxy is kind of pointless in a production stand point. Also hyperspace can't traverse the galaxy Star Wars is set in because of some sort of disturbance that messes with it making it stop - so the galaxy is more like the universes version of a prison. Then there's the Outbound Flight which was built to leave the galaxy and was filled with Jedi and other assorted people.
So it has been tried, both failed and succeeded. It's official I know way to ******** much about Star Wars.
