Veral'De decided that everyone could take care of themselves, so he made his way to a safe area. Once there he found a vending machine and grabbed a cream soda. "What's the point of all that fighting?" He said to himself as he opened the can and took a drink, "The point was to get the scientist and now no one is...stupid." He took another drink and stared at the clouds his mind wandering off.

Nathan's failure to respond resulted in a direct hit, the steel to the face laying him out. Jenner snapped the wire just before where the steel was to break it off and checked his surroundings again.
((That's what Bayer gets for not posting.))
Anatoly looked up at Z. "Honestly? As long as the crazy guys in the camo pants don't jump us, we can just chill over here."

Oh s**t. There was trouble.
On the walls around the lot appeared three other silhouettes, just dark shapes due to the position of the light. Anatoly got the bad feeling that he knew what their pants looked like.
Civilians began to filter into the area with that lack of safety that civilians always have in areas of danger.

Areku just walking the street in the town they stopped by before heading to the beach.
"Man I can't believe they made me get snacks!" he complained out loud "I mean come on like I know where to find some dumb snack?" he kept complaining.
So he kept walking seeing a lot of people in a direction he thought there might be a store or at least something interesting.

Jenner walked over to the newcomers. "What's our status?"
Anatoly stood and calmly walked towards the corner, telling Z, "Follow me, turn the corner, get into the building ASAP."

One of the silhouettes vanished and appeared in their path. Their features were still unclear.
The wandering Areku saw as the shape just appeared at the mouth of what appeared to be an alley from his position up the street. Intrigued, he thought about going to check it out.
One of the other people said to Jenner, "Not good, rookie. We might need to leave soon, things aren't going as planned."
