Paradox left his room, and turned the key. He had it locked up for a reason, and he wasn't happy about learning that people had been snooping around it. The key made a c***k as it dissapeared into a slot in his armor. It had little choice other than that. He had been meditating for the last few hours, to rid himself of the pain he had been feeling since yesterday. he was also watching Serenity. She barely left her room at all, and he was deeply suspicious.

Zypher and Allen spoke to one another about the past happenings and how things were getting quite strange within the castle walls. For one it seemed like somone was trying to tear the people in the castle into chaos. Serenity was quick to rat out Paradox almost as if she was causing trouble. The strange woman who was trying to seduce Zypher was also a concern. It must be that tensions are on high with this new threat.
"I don't why but things just seem to be going odd. I feel alot of mixed feelings in this whole bit of what's going on." Zypher said with sigh. He reached up his right hand and rubbed the right temple of his head. It was apparent Zypher has been spending alot of later nights trying to find these men of death.
"I understand what you speak as well. Rumors have been going around the castle about Jack. And the maid who was slain.... It is a terror what happened last night. I stood gaurd and yet everything happened behind my back..... These men are they truly that horrifying? You seem to have been spending much nights of fruitless effort. These men must be something to hide from you even." Allen spoke. He had worry in his voice for he saw a friend pushing himself on his own to the point of probably getting ill.

Paradox passed by Zypher without a second glance. The general was brooding on his own thoughts, mainly Serenity, the girl. Their were only a hundred copies of the book ever in existence, and she knew about it. It just didn't add up in his head. Besides that, he had an ice pack on his head.
Serenity, on the other hand, was her usual energetic self, causing maids to curse, chef's to howl, and guards to mutter. She ran through the halls in her unending burst of energy. "Wee! I'm a birdy!" She laughed, hands stretched out. Her bodyguard was always close behind her, always.

Zypher turned and spoke to Paradox at this point. The general seemed deep in thought and as if he had a bad time lately as well.
"Hey General you mind if we talk about something?" Zypher asked turning to Paradox as he was walking by.
Allen had stopped along with Zypher and looked back as well. It seemed everyone had worked very hard to try and make things right once again within the kingdom.

The general stopped, turned around. "Not at all. I have all the time anyone would want." he said politely, still rubbing his head with the icepack.

"Well it's more about what happened last night. It seems another one of the thirteen became apparent to us. I was wondering if you can recall the names from the book of yours. Also it pretains to Serenity. I'm unsure she is the regular little girl we makr think she is. I didn't even know a single words in Death an the Afterlife story, yet she does..... Something doesn't add up here. You know people well so I was hoping we can figure out why a young noble snoops about and knows so much about our current endevour." Zypher said plainly.
"It seems you've been having a tuff time lately. Are you doing alright?"

Paradox sighed. "I just have a headache. I've had it since yesterday." paradox replied to the first question first. The second gave him even less pause. "She's a true politician, unfortunately. She's looking to make a killing off of us, and maybe she did find one of the books. The names you are looking for are Shadow, Bones, Blood, Fear/Despair, Oppresion, Plague, Thirst, Hunger, Breath, Sight, Sound, Knowledge, Ignorance , all with 'of death' at the end of each one. The two most important are Shadow and Ignorance." he said regretfully. He didn't like disclosing such information. Many people would become curious how all of these took effect in death.

"Excellent..." Zypher said now thinking things through. Knowing thier names would mean he could figure out thier skills and perhaps counter the ones not seen yet, and the ones the already know.
"I ask because these men have powers based on thier names that they have taken out from this book. If they are truly part of the death as a whole then they would all be like the ones we have met as far as being true to thier name/power relationship."

Paradox looked at the wall, "If that is the case, then they will be hard to kill. They are merely definitions in a book, nothing more, nothing less. Yet, they are still definitions, so maybe you are right. The key is a rock paper scissor relationship between them." Paradox said absently. he hadn't heard of these menaces very much, let alone meet any of them face to face. He expected them to be avoiding him, because they had other targets.

"Yeah, so far they seem to be extremely hard to kill off once and for all. The king took one out but he feels like he didn't actually die. Shadow is just as his name says but he can also move freely from on body to another. The other names seem pretty bad to deal with as well...." Zypher said in thought.
Allen didn't say much only because he didn't know much. He has never really fought against one of these being. He saw them once when they were wandering through the castle but that was all. The one called thirst made quite a scene after Mitachi slammed him around some.

Paradox shook his head. " I should know something about this, but I do not. I've never heard of these thirteen pieces of death, before." Paradox said regretfully. They had pretty much appeared overnight, and that wasn't good for him. Was his information sources becoming forgetful.

"Nah, your good. from what I've seen so far and the clues left behind from all the inn attacks it fits with what you told me. I was told from an old friend to notice the clues from what was left behind. He witnessed one of the attacks by Bone of Death." Zypher explained thankfull for the general's help. Knowing this information helped calm his mind and he didn't feel as overburdened as he did a moment ago.
"There are thirteen of them and not a single one is gone for good. I wonder if I could find a weakness through thier abilities.... Is there anythign in the book you can recall that will help? If not or if you don't feel comfortable sharing I understand." Zypher said leaning against the wall now while he spoke.
Allen walked off now feeling like Zypher and Paradox should talk about things. It was way over Allen's head anyway. All this about death and powers was something Allen didn't bother himself with.

Paradox sighed to himself. A sad sigh. "Each one is paired with another, except knowledge, who is paired with nobody. Hunger, Thirst. Shadow, Ignorance. Plague, Breath. Oppresion, Fear. Bone, Blood. Sight, sound. Maybe that could help." paradox wondered out loud.
As soon as Allen left the two to their own devices, the little Lady Serenity would be circling around him, giggling. "Allen and dialh sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" She laughed it out.

Zypher thought for a moment about what Paradox had said.
"That indeed may help a good bit. I'm sorry if I'm acting like I'm prying into things but the connection to the book you own and these people are uncanny." Zypher spoke. Zypher felt bad for asking so much of the general while he was feeling ill. Yet if he didn't ask now it may have been too late.
Allen laughed a bit as Serenity ran around him. He thought it was odd Zypher saw something odd in his kind little girl. It may have been coincidence that she came across such knowledge.
"I remember the times I use to act like that as well. It was so much fun teasing my friends once they found a beautiful lady of thier own." Allen laughed a bit more after speaking.

Paradox turned around, and shook his head. "It's not your fault for prying. There are maybe three of these books left in the world. thankfully for you, I own a copy, and unluckly for us all, I own one of the last three copies." Paradox took a deep breath and shifted the ice pack on his head.
Serenity smiled. "Well, too bad. i'm not going to find a beautiful lady of my own! I already am one!" She giggled, swirling around in place like a ballerina.
