Listen to this!
No, really, I am almost literally rolling around on the ground laughing, it's too funny! Seems some fellow outside of Dallas called a friend for some reason - I think he might've been stuck at the side of the road - when he witnesses a small accident between a man who ran a red light and four little old ladies in a car. Man marches over like he's going to blame the old ladies. After a play-by-play commentary by the fellow who was on the phone, the man runs off with his tail between his legs.
No profanity, nothing inappropriate...at most, someone might be offended because it's essentially laughing at another person getting hurt, though between you and me, I think the guy deserved what he got.
So, beware of little old ladies! They're tougher than you think.

Crystal Of Quills Hitting him with a bible. =D That was funny! Not just any bible - a hard-backed NIV version! And since it was an elderly lady, it was probably one that was printed with a larger font to make reading it easier... BIG Bible!

BIG Bible! when my grandmother would punish us when me and my cousins were younger she would bless us with her bible which entailed us getting tapped (hard) onthe head with her bible...

Funny stuff! Currently, I'm forced to take speech in my RL school. As an example of a "humorous interpretation" my teacher showed us a video of on year's National 2nd place winner for a speech contest. It just happened to be about the 1st HP book, and man, was it FUNNY! It was one of those guys who are really good at voices and, I guess you could say, 'mime-ing' actions. I've been trying to find a video of it, but having a name usually helps, sadly I don't have a name for it. But right after she showed us the video, we moved on to chosing our topic, and i just happened to get HOGWARTS!!!!! Since this was for a 3 minute "impromtu" speech, we got five minutes to prepare and memorize our points. Within those five minutes, I could come up with a (longer than) 3 minute speech that covered the history of hogwarts, the school song, the location, famous events, the houses, the symbols, voldemort, harry vs. draco, some certain happenings in the seventh book that I won't type here for those possibly not there yet, headmasters, stairs/doors/pictures/general chaos, classes, and what might happen after HP leaves. *gasp for breath* Sadly, I didn't get to present that (if I say so myself) wonderfully detailed speech. And for some reason, my friends think I'm obsessed........ [/ADHD]
Sorry. That got long VERY FAST. ........hehehe.....oops. sweatdrop

IceeWitch I've logged on twenty times today, and nothing has really happened in the guild... o m g..boredom I do the same. xd Log on multiple times throughout the day only to discover that nothing has really happened in the guild. It's very boring. And university doesn't start for another few weeks, so I'll continue to be bored until then.
kstar: Nice! You got lucky on that topic choice, though it's a pity you didn't get to give your speech. Sounds like it would have been awesome, if rather long.

There's going to be a (possibly belated) Valentine's Day event?! I remember having one last year (I think). I seem to remember a contest involving finding pictures of HP characters/couples hidden throughout the guild.
