Same with me, except I substitute watching a movie with daydreaming and add listening to music smile .

I can't multitask like that. Like I can't read with music playing since all the songs on my iPod I know the words to, so it'll draw my attention to the music instead of the book. I don't wanna miss anything...lol.

Kineka: Yeah, same here. Well, I can multitask pretty well, but not if I'm trying to process something. Classical music is good for reading 'cause there are no words n.n

turyza: We sure are x3 I saw Transformers 2 today, I didn't like it too much :
That's what we do too. Usually all the guidance counselors sit in the library for the first week and listen to a bunch of teenagers beg and whine to get their classes switched. They try to be organized, but they really aren't xD

Kineka: I have that problem sometimes, but I can't sit there in silence, so I usually put on classical music while reading. I remember when I bought Deathly Hallows, I played the classical music station on the radio until I finished the book (:

Even if I do play music with no words, I'm very musical, so I end up thinking more about how the song's going, like the beat count and the instruments being played when, and stuff like that. I have to have it in complete silence. Like, birds chirping and cars going by, yeah, that's fine, but anything that has a specific rhythm or words...yeah, doesn't work.

That's interesting. My choir teacher is like that sometimes, but well she's a choir teacher. I can read in silence sometimes, like when I have a headache or something.

Wow..2 pages when I was gone!

I'm glad that this room is finally active and wb turayza!

I'm going to watch the premier tomorrow night at midnight well tuesday/wednesday, I'm so stoked I can hardly wait!

Yesterday I went to the Mayhem Festival in San Bernadino and it was hot! It's in the desert and it got up to 108 degrees. I had to sit in the shade for a long time because my body doesn't do well in the heat. I got burned and I'm exhausted, I got home at 230 am but I had alot of fun.

It seems like the whole San Diego area all the way to LA went to that concert. I've never seen so much black in one place in my entire life. Everybody wore black, I didn't because I knew I would die if I did.
Some girls wore fishnets and black shirts and skirts plus boots! I thought they were crazy. My boyfriend and I enjoyed watching and listening to heavy metal bands like Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, As I lay Dying, God Forbid (liked them alot),Job for a Cowboy (which I missed).

I didn't understand a word of those little bands and then they were the big bands in the stadium starting at 6 pm.
First one up is Bullet for my Valentine, they are guys from the U.K. and they were good with the crowd. The second big band up was killswitch engage. The guitarist was obnoxious ***** and told girls to take off their bras to show their "titties" to give show to the other guys. One girl did it, and some others. Surprised that he didn't get in trouble.

The third band was Slayer, they are a old school heavy metal band and I still didn't understand them.

Last was Marilyn Manson, which is why I went to the festival to see. He was very theatrical and I actually understood his singing, the only band that I understood. I loved him and my voice was horse due to screaming and singing from my part. All in all I had tons of fun. I'm still a rocker at heart and will always love heavy metal and rock music in general.

If you are interested here's the link for the festival.

Blanc: I can't read when I have a headache, it just makes it worse. That's when I put the book down, stick my headphones in, and just close my eyes for a little bit. It's better after that.

Para: I'm glad you had fun! Bullet for my Valentine is cool. I only know their music, not the words or titles...but I had them on my iPod for a while before iTunes deleted them because I didn't buy them.

w00t! 200 pages!

Para: That DOES sound fun. Manson's definately a performer. I taught today (and will continue to teach for the rest of the week) and even where I live on the peninsula it's really freaking hot.

Yep, I'm back to teaching kids how to build lego robots. I'm exhausted at the end of the day, but it's still good to get paid to do something I enjoy.

Para: Wow, sounds like it was a lot of fun and quite the experience.
Kineka: It sort of makes mine better. Painkillers always help too...

Para, you go to so many fun concerts x3 But seriously, there were that many crazy people wearing all-black in 108 degrees? x__X; Thinking about it is making me melt already.

I actually think reading helps my headaches XD From paper, at least. Reading from the computer tends to cause them. That, and playing zOMG for too long...

Lego robots, really? That sounds so fun :3

Yay, I got to post on the 200th page! exclaim *dances*

Blanc, you're very welcome! whee

Kineka and turayza, I'm the same way. I can't listen to and read different words at the same time, so music with lyrics cannot be playing whilst I'm reading. 3nodding

Yeah I only go to two concerts a year, well if somebody else comes on I do. They were crazy! Reminds me when I went to Vegas and wore all black, bad idea trust me.

I get headaches when I read too much period, I have to look far away to re-focus my contacts.

I can listen to music with lyrics while I'm reading but it has to be low or else I can't read.

Meatball: You teach? Oh, that's cool smile . Playing with Legos is awesome, but I'd so much rather like, play Uno or something. Haha that was my favorite game in kindergarten.

Yeah, it's really hot up here too...but not like, all the time. Wisconsin's weather is so unpredictable, I don't get why the weather man even tries. He's almost always wrong anyway...

Blanc: Well, I don't want to take extra drugs for something as little as a headache. I just rest, and usually about 10, 15 minutes later, it's better and I can get back to reading. I also noticed that I can't read lying down...my glasses end up not being able to focus...It's really weird, but if I wanna read comfortably, I have to be either sitting up on my bed with my book in my lap or on the bed in front of me and reading from it or sitting at a desk in a chair and having the book laying out flat on the desk. That's why I read mostly during school. I have no choice but to read at a desk. And this year, we have a mandatory study hall/tutoring thing, so I'll be able to get some more reading in!

Turayza: Yeah, all black in 108 degrees...that's gonna be what my dad and brother are gonna be like at his wedding...the stupid bride wants full tuxes on the guys and it's the middle of August on a beach...ugh, what is she thinking?!

Reading from a computer just makes mine worse. I can't stare at a computer for too long either. So I always just look at the keyboard when I'm typing and occassionally look up. That helps.

Minerva: Music without lyrics doesn't help me much...especially if I know the melody...like if it's a Christmas song from Manheim Steamroller. Those I have on my iPod, but I always know the melody, so I end up singing the words and are more concentrated on THAT then the book I'm reading. But it's weird, if I'm listening to my iPod and on the computer at the same time, I focus more on the computer than my music, then I refocus on my iPod, and the song changed like 5 times and I didn't even know it O.O. I'm a weird person. razz

Para: Definitely bad idea wearing all black in Vegas...Nevada is one big desert...one reason I'll never go there, at least not until I can afford an air conditioned car. I don't do well in heat, I get all dizzy and lightheaded and I feel like I'm gonna pass out. I just felt like that in Sears yesterday, it was really warm on the top floor and my mom had me in and out of the fitting room, trying on dresses. Ugh...my mom even said I looked a little pale. Cold is my thing. I sleep better when my room's cold and I have a lot of warm blankets on my bed. That's one reason why I love winters in Wisconsin. It's so freezing, I actually get a full night's sleep.

Minerva: Ooh, I like how your Gimpi wings match the Angelic/Demonic plushies :3

Para: Ah, but that's 'cause California has so many good concerts >.> There's never anything in Washington DX

Kineka: Wow, that's terrifying. Oh well, be glad you're not a guy (:

Yeah, I have this really long, flowy dress that's really light and sleeveless. Hopefully the reception's air conditioned razz .

California DOES have all the good concerts. Para, I feel your pain, Wisconsin doesn't have any either. We'd have to drive all the way to Chicago to get to a good concert.
