Tweek Yero flinched slightly. His ears flattened in disdainful indignace impulsively before he remembered--he had no right to be indignant. His wine colored eyes darted left and right as if seeking out spies, and his tail curled slightly as he muttered to Hige, in half jesting but half geniune flustered tones. " Urm. Look here now, this is just between us..males... but, No." His eyed pleaded with the younger wolf for help. A true brotherly moment. xd
A sheepish something between yowling and 'mrring' came from Hige as he ducked his head closer to the ground to slink alongside the raven. "Yeah... well, just between us males, neither have I. We're proooobably gonna get our hides whooped!" ^_^;; "But, at least there are two of us to keep our story straight, right?" Turning his large head towards Yero, Hige's eyes glinted with a wolfish smirk.
Brothers have to stick together after all. We pick a story, and we stick to the story. XD
"Besides-" He interjected with hopeful confidence, lifting his head and tail again proudly showing off his husky size! "-it's two against one, what's the worst that could happen?"

(( XD This is hilarious. I wanna camera. Male bonding at it's best! I bet their females would be so much better at this. *snerk* ))
Still jogging along, Yero seemed a bit crestfallen at Hige's first statement, but the black wolf's troubled expression dissipated somewhat as he nodded seriously to what his brother had to follow it up. "See, that's what I'm thinking," He confirmed gravely. "It can't be that hard. All the others seem to do it pretty easily," The male was growing more confident with each step. In fact, he was already letting his overactive imagination play with images of Whinn's reactions to the kill-to-be.
The pair had come to the skirts of the meadow, a medium sized little number with yellowed grass that glinted here and there in winter's frost. Yero adjusted his already quiet pace to an even more cautious gait, treading with all the noise of a jungle cat.

Selia would be resting upon her haunches just before her and her mate's den, sitting there...while she fidgeted anxiously, she'd lick at her front paws and nibble a random itch...waiting for her mate to return from where ever he had run off to. Glancing about nervously, she was just itching to tell him what she had found out! Her hackles stood on end in the excitment of it all!
Hurry up and get your a** here, Devvyl~ She'd think silently, dual colored orbs scanning the horizon.

Devvyl'd gone to the river for a walk and a drink, not to mention his territory-marking business. (( xd )) He raised his head and sniffed lightly -- there was a herd of deer across the river. Though no one had claimed the territory across the river as for as he knew, he wasn't going to chance it, especially when they'd eaten only a few hours earlier. Turning back, he headed to their den at a quick trot. Several minutes later the den and his mate came into view, Selia looking anxious if anything.
Something wrong? He asked her, concerned.

She smirked at him, and would stand, her tail waving side to side behind her. "Uh, not really." She shook her head at him, and smirked in slight amusement.. Anywho, she needed to move on. Attempting to stay calm, she twitched a bit, before tackling him straight to the ground. Wow, just like when they were pups. xD They were getting too old for this.
"WE'REGOINGTOHAVEPUPPIES!" She said in a slur, and nuzzled into his throat with a happy whimper, "I'm pregnant!" She said more clearly, and snickered.

Whatever Dev was expecting, it wasn't this.
He waited patiently for Selia to tell him whatever it was she was clearly trying to, and the wind was knocked out of him when she tackled him to the ground, causing him to wheeze in a short gasp of air.
"WE'REGOINGTOHAVEPUPPIES!"
It took a few seconds for Devvyl to comprehend what his mate had just blabbled, but when she reiterated, it took another few to get his breath back enough to respond.
We -- Cough. Wheeze. We're -- Try again, try to get the grating sound out of his voice.
He finally gave up, and tackled Selia in return, lying across her with a lick and a nuzzle in the place of words. Simple words couldn't convey his feelings.

soul let out a snicker. 'Forgot, tis mating season, which means...each wolf that's pregnant needs attention' she let out a loving laugh as she crawled her way towards Selia and Devvyl. 'I just heard. Congratulation's. To the both of you' she said with a grin, as she laid Isaac to the side. 'I...I have a new comer...His name....is Isaac.' she paused, peering down towards him 'I'm hopeing you'll....allow him into our...your pack.' her grin fadded as she feared the worst.

Tweek Stil flicking beads of moisture every which way with each theatrical beat of his long feathered tail, Yero crouched on his hind legs in a half sitting position as he diligently looked around the banks for a fertile spot. His thinking was similar to Whinn's, though in a slightly different vein. As a pup he had never felt safer than when shielded by a copse of greenery. Even as an adult he remembered his fervent urge not to be seen, and instinctively looked for a place more sheltered than others. Stretching his legs to stand once more he padded a couple paces and nosed at some thich reeds and cattails, close to the river but on a relatively steep incline that quelled his worries of flood. Behind the fragrant wall was a slight dip in the steepening land surrounded by flat rocks covered with moss from the river's moisture. The raven wolf's soggy tail raised triumphantly. " Whinn, come see what you think of this!" (( *will crosspost with Hige or timewarp as soon as I get home tonight* x3 )) (I am sooo sorry I haven't replied yet! I've been really busy and haven't really had time to bop around on Gaia! crying forgive meeeee! I bring a sacrifice!) Her sharp yet sullen eyes studied Yero's dark, toned body as he scanned the embankments. His thoughts were definately on the same track as hers, she could see by where he was looking. As he rose and started off toward a steep inclined bank she smiled inwardly. He was so good and loyal to her. It made her relax to watch him scope out the banks, and her posture shifted as he seemed to find a dip suitable enough for a home. He called her over and she eagerly picked up a lively trot, coming to his side. She studied the sheltering curtain surrounding the area, and the steep incline. No worries of flood. No worries of being scoped out by something larger and despirate for food. No tragedies ahead for their young ones in the future. She smiled. The spot was perfect. Turning her head to meet his gaze for a moment she gave his neck a nuzzle. "It's perfect, Yero!" she said with a yip, her tail thrashing contently behind her in agreement with her statement.

As Sould approached, obviously back from her journey back to their old home, she tilted her head to stare at the newcomer.."Of course it's okay, is he alright?" She questioned automatically...he looked familiar somehow. blinking, she'd smile to Soul, "You might want to get him to a den to rest...it's too cold out here for him."

She questioned automatically...he looked familiar somehow. blinking, she'd smile to Soul, "You might want to get him to a den to rest...it's too cold out here for him." Soul leaped upwards. her tail began to wag quickly as she yipped towards Selia 'Thank you Selia. Dev' with that she nodded and looked to Isaac. 'He....he got into a fight.' she said simply 'Let us hope he's fine' she then snatched at his neck fur and dragged him towards a den. Calling towards Aoiko. She spoke towards him, yelling slightly 'Aoiko, I'll make Isaac a den near ours. And we'll sleep in there. You will sleep in the one you dug till Isaac heals. or atleast awakens.' she smiled and let Isaac fall near Aoiko's den and began to rapidly dig into the snow, creating a hole. ((^^ Always good to have a new-commer eh! XD!))

Isaac lifted his head from the snow, slowly opening his eyes to see Soul near him, and some new faces around. "We're here?" he questioned slowly, brow furrowed.
He felt like he'd slept for a lifetime. Although he supposed it made up for a lifetime of only a few hours sleep each night, if at all. As lazy as he was, he hated sleep. Or more specifically, the images that plagued him when he did so. Although he didn't make a big deal of it anymore, it was still a regular thing, and he'd learnt to avoid it by simply sleeping as little as possible while using as little energy as possible during the day.
The rest had done him good though. Feeling a lot better and not wanting her to think him pathetic or useless, he forced himself to sit up slightly. The gashes to his shoulder had closed up well enough not to open again as he did so, but he still couldn't put much weight on his back leg. Perhaps it would never heal fully, as the crushed cartilage couldn't be regrown.
((Even if it's Isaac....? XD))

Soul's eyes were blinded by snow as she continued to dig. her paws starting to feel the cold. she stopped for a moment. Her ears pricking upwards. 'Isaac?' she shook her head, licking at her dry nose then looked towards him. A soft smile formed onto her features. 'Glad your awake.' she moved her way towards him, licking gently...lovingly at his nose. She then sniffed at his leg and then whined. 'What...What happened here!' she said with a GASP!
