He smiled and took the cigarette in his teeth and took a draw of it, then spoke with it still between his lips, "Well i've already taken plenty." he winked at her and smiled again.

Kari smiled wide. "Iguess you have. But really, we can go anywhere you want to. I have no classes today. We both don't. We're 'sick'. Remember," she said and smiled, leaning over and kissing him gently.

He happily kissed her back and chuckled, "Well if love is an aliment, then i think i should bed ridden. I juts hope it's not contagious." He turned the wheel around a corner and continued driving.

She smiled and moved back into her seat. "I guess it is. Transmitted by sex and kissing.Hopefully you've only given it to me then," Kari said. She drew her last puff of smoke in a nd tossed the butt out the window.

He laughed, "Well if thats the only way to spread it, then you have no worries about that." He turned the wheel again, and began to drive parallel to the water front, then he turned again, heading down an old road that seemed to head towards the water.

"I didn't think so," she said and laughed in tune with him. She looked out the window and saw the water. The sunlight reflected little speckles of sunshine on her eyes. "Are we going for a swim?" she asked him curiously.

He shrugged his shoulders, "Not sure, just desided this road looked nice to take, by the looks of it, not very many people have taken it lately though." he continued down the dirt road, the water front getting slowly closer, along with a lighthouse in the distance.

Her jaw slowly slipped down at the beautiful sight. She had always loved the water, ever since she was a little girl. She loved swimming, fishing, whatever it took to be near it. "It is very nice," she agreed.

He smiled, "I see you like the ocean..i'll have to remember that." he slowed the truck down as the started to hit partly sanded terrain, then then finally to a stop, the ocean now spread out for them, the light house off to the left, and it completely empty of people.

"Yeah, I love it," she told him in a soft voice, hopping out of the truck. She walked off onto the sand barefoot and twirled around with her eyes closed and smiled as she spun. She inhaled the wonderful scent of the ocean breeze that caressed her face.

He chuckled lightly and slowly followed behind her, not wanting to interupt her and let her enjoy the moment.

When she opened her eyes, she saw Lucas staring at her and she smiled. She ran up to him and gazed in his eyes. "Come on, babe, it's the ocean!" She threw her arms around him and held him close. "Thank you for bringing me here," she whispered.

He smiled and held her lightly in his arms kissing the top of her forehead, "i thought you might like it, i happened upon it not too long ago."
