Karite looked at the girl in the bed and cocked his head slightly. If he had been any more like a wolf he would of pinned his ears down as well. Looking back to Andou he bowed and smiled. Karite always had such a carefree smile for such a killer, unlike his nephew who seemed to never smile. "We will wait outside Andou, feel free to take your time." Looking at his Nephew Karite snapped his fingers and jerked his head rounding up the large group and filling them all out into the hall. Bowing again he smiled and folllowed suit.
Before Hiro exited he stoped and eyed Andou with the pure eyes of a beast. Something about Andou did not make Hiro feel at easy. He seemed to weak to lead. Nothing like a true leader who demanded respect and strength from his followers. Turning he snorted and made his way out the door.

[Oh great, Hiro is going to be another Konpaku... ;-;]
"All right then," Andou said, turning from the two to Cerbi. But not without noting the worrying look in Hiro's eyes... but then again, this kid had always been worrying. "Rest well, Cerbi-san." He said this simply and without guilt. For him his earlier questions were simply a formality after all. "Please don't try anything," he said to her before leaving. He shut the door as quietly as he could - he wouldn't disturb her rest.
As he turned around he came face to face with the man and boy and wolf and lion. They seemed well enough, and from their appearance you couldn't tell if they'd just come from an arduous journey or a tea party. Feeling it appropriate Andou raised an eyebrow expectantly, but not in an unfriendly manner, and said, "So... how have you been. It's been a while."

Karite smiled knowing this was nothing more than pleasentries for Andou but none the less being civil was a new wave amongst the mist. Not his favorite of pass times but he could deal with it if Andou could. "As you can see we have all been fine and are once again ready to do our part as Shinobi of the village. It has been awhile since young Hiro left but I am sure this time he will be more of a team player." Karite eyed his nephew knowing the second annihilation of his home and clan was a bit much to bare but it was worth it for him to remember his place.
Hiro still eyed Andou. His cat like sense flaring at every breathe of the man. A growl began to emerge from his throat but it was quickly silenced by his Uncles stare. Reaching for the gourd at his hip the young shinobi popped the cap and as if someone had killed a vile creature in front of everyone the smell of home brewed alcohol poured from the gourd as Hiro knocked back a swig. "I am just ready to fight. My uncle does not speak for me. This is no longer the home I once knew. You are not my Kage Seiko was the only Kage I will call master."

[oh the wait of doom! s; sorry!]
"That's always good," Andou replied, and checked himself. That... probably hadn't come out the way he wanted it. "I didn't mean it that way," he amended. "It's good to have you both back."
He laughed humourlessly at Hiro's outburst. "How long have you been legal, Tategami? Already downing the poison like water." He spoke carelessly, his nose wrinkled in distaste at the smell. He was markedly not as respectful to Hiro as he'd been to Karite - but that was understandable and would even be expected by some. "Whatever suits you. I'm not Kage; no one is. There's just no one left." Andou raised his eyes to meet Karite's. "I think you'd understand the circumstances, Karite-san," he said. "We have a Council made up of civilians, gypsies and ninja. We've been doing fine so far. We might not change if we don't need to." A wry smile played on his lips.
"It's always good to be ready to fight, Tategami," he continued on as if he hadn't broken the conversation to talk to Karite earlier. "You better be ready for a long time..."
But Andou was not a man for poetics, and before he could create an appropriately pensive atmosphere, he stopped trying and turned.
"I should really be getting back to my team," he said. "I have a team now. Granted, it's our first day." Granted, he was also thinking of a way to dispose... no, pass them on to someone else. What the hell was he thinking when he'd decided to take them on? Maybe he had only been seduced by the prospect of free labour. Yeah, that was it. Teaching a few tricks seemed like a doozy trade compared to that. He'd hoped that he would regain his affinity for teaching, but maybe that would take longer than he hoped. "Maybe you saw them. They were at the shoreline learning to swim."

Karite raised a hand to his chin and tapped it ever so lightly. He had to think, his memory was never good for the obvious. It was the small things he focused on. "I do recall seeing people swimming at the beach but they seemed a little pathetic to be gennin. If those were truly the students you speak of I apologize for the insult. If you must take your leave we shall as well. It seems my nephew needs a good spar to let out his aggression" Karite bowed to Andou letting his hair fail around his neck. Standing to full height again the retired ANBU walked out snapping his finger. "I will see you when the time comes Andou. You can count on that one."

Andou snickered. "Yeah, those are the ones." He still couldn't believe they couldn't swim. What kind of Kirigakure shinobi were these kids? "I'll see you around. You too, Tategami," he addressed Hiro directly at that one.
After Karite and Hiro, and their animals partners had left, Andou decided to go back to check on Cerbi, just to see how she was doing. There had been no alarm, which meant that she was fine. A doctor had just exited her room and Andou gleaned that she was still asleep, and recovering, so that was good. He still couldn't make any sense of the deja vu feeling he had when he talked to her, though...
Deciding further research was in order, he headed to the Library. He hadn't been gone for that long anyway and the brats... no, the students, yes, could take care of themselves.

The walk to the hospital was a short one being that it involved merely following the path until you saw a great big one-story building. Andou merely walked in, nodding at the various nurses and medical ninja, supporting Ren all the way. "I'll find someone to get a room for you. Then I'll leave you in their care. Is that all right?" he questioned Ren.
[enter from village]
Just then, a nurse that was passing by did a double take and walked towards Andou and Ren. "Andou-sama," she said, giving him a light bow which Andou returned before turning to Ren. "And aren't you the cutest little thing?" she said, giving him a large smile while adjusting her glasses. "You look like you need some of our special care though," she said with a small smirk slash giggle. "I'll get a room registered for you," she said to Ren with a nod. "Just a second, Andou-sama." The nurse waited for any replies and answered them all with a smile before walking off purposefully clutching her clipboard, hips swaying like trees in the wind.

With the short walk, Ren felt a strong pull towards this man, he sensed a closeness to him that he had not shared except for his own father. "I should be alright, thank you very much! You've been too kind to a child, such as myself," replies Ren happily, still reveling in the stranger's kindness.
[enter from village]
Ren smiled warmly at the compliment from the kind looking nurse and his mind trails once again. " Andou-sama..." he thinks to himself...," That is a good name for a good man..."
Ren waits patiently for the nurse to register him a room, as he watches her trail off so gracefully. He wished he could be so graceful one day, so much confidence was brought out with each sway of her hips. A very beautiful woman, with her glasses to complement her smile, a true woman.

"Don't mention it," Andou said gruffly. "After you get checked in I'll leave you, but I'll come back over the next few days or have my friend come over later to get you sorted out. You have to be admitted intot he academy and everything after all."
At that point, the pretty nurse with the spectacles returned. "I can take you from now," she informed Ren pleasantly. "Follow me. My name is Mayumi, just call me Nurse Mayumi." She nodded at Andou before walking off, expecting Ren to follow.
"Now your wounds don't look TOO serious at first glance," she said to him, "although I can tell that you're in need of a great rest. We won't be giving you any meds but we'll let you take a shower first before we clean and bandage your wounds. You'll be provided with a bed and three meals a day. You can request books or other forms of entertainment if you get bored!" the nurse said with a smile. "I just need your name for administration...?"

Ren smiled warmly,"Thank you again, I'll wait for your return and I'll do my best to not get in anyone's way." He waved farewell for now and followed the nurse before she got too far ahead.
"Nice to meet you Nurse Mayumi. I am Ren Murasaki, but you can call me Ren, if you'd like," stated Ren in a pleasant tone. His right hand shaking, runs through his hair slightly as he followed the lovely lady, as if a nervous habit. "I will head to the showers...it has been a while since I last had a good one. May I request a fresh change of clothes? These rags are a bit done in I'm afraid..." Ren's purple eyes seemed to sparkle again, as if a sort of timeless spark that was just beneath the surface was trying to reveal itself to the outside world.

"Murasaki... Ren... eh..." Nurse Mayumi repeated, jotting it carefully down into her clipboard. She eyeballed him and wrote down and filled in several more fields in his file, estimates of course. They could get precise measurements later, when Ren wasn't so tired. Although the hospital only had one floor, it was a vast building clearly divided into many sections. Mayumi led Ren through the busy outpatient area into the inpatient area where it was much quieter, although of course it was very apparent that sick and injured people were housed within.
"This is your room," Mayumi said, stopping in front of a door, opening it to reveal a reasonably-sized room with a single bed and, among other things, a small TV in the corner of the ceiling (the remote control was in the bedside table). The room also boasted an en-suite bathroom which was really not bad. Kirigakure certainly didn't skimp on its budget to the health department. "I'll go get your fresh change of clothes, then," Mayumi said cheerfully after Ren's request. "I'll drop them off on your bed in about five minutes, so you're free to start your shower before then or just rest a bit." Giving Ren a small wave, Mayumi exited the room and went to find the boy some standard issue clean hospital clothes.
Mayumi would soon return with the clothes. After bandaging and tending to Ren's wounds, she would check on Ren regularly over the next few hours until half past ten, which was the hospital's official lights-out time although patients were of course free to stay up. She would attend to Ren's needs as previously offered.

Ren waved farewell to the kind-hearted nurse and committed himself to a long shower, after which he'd find himself in new clothes after he was appropriately bandaged. He stayed up pretty late with his eyes closed, thinking about just how far he's managed to come in just a mere two weeks. His thoughts of this place weren't even close to the beauty he has so far seen. "A perfect place for me...," he thought to himself with a smile upon his face realizing that Nurse Mayumi had been spying in every so often," I am home."
Ren soon found himself embracing sleep rather willingly after such thoughts and proceeded to dream of the day he had while he was awake. He dreamed of many things, but something stood out in his mind clear as day. Andou-sama, a man similar to his own father, strong...yet gentle...a man he would soon aspire to impress. Also on his mind, was Nurse Mayumi, a woman of dignified beauty and grace that he longed to be like someday. He imagined himself on a stage of immense size. Andou-sama watching from the front row, and his own father watching from the balcony...spectating as Ren danced as if a mystical being from the heavens.

Ren awoke from his docile slumber rather awkwardly to an almost eerie silence that seemed to captivate Ren's attention. Ren had felt refreshed, even though he had been in much discomfort the day prior and could barely even stand. He sat up rather quickly and stepped out of bed. The blood running through his veins seemed to relax him, being that he had lost a lot a few pints, but he wasn't too worried. To him, he realized that his family can withstand blood loss better than most people due to the lessons his father taught him when he was younger.
"Now remember Ren, do not overspend yourself...you may carry our veins, but you are only human," Ren recalled his father saying before sending him out on his own. With an innocent smile and a tilt of his head, he made his way to the mirror. He saw his hair...something that seemed to be reborn with bountiful life after he had given it the pampering it deserved. Ren didn't have much, but he did have his hair...something that reminded him of an old picture of his mother that his father used to carry in a locket about his neck.
He looked at his clothes and frowned...they were very apparently too plain and boring for his liking, (not to mention too big.) He was tired of the rags he had been wearing before, but to him, these clothes seemed to resonate a sense of typical that was in no way graceful or captivating. He inspected his bandages and didn't seem to find any sight of the minor scrapes that covered him before he slept. A very typical thing once he had a good long rest, (being that he still hasn't experienced anything worse than such.) Ren made his way to the door and down the hall till Nurse Mayumi was in sight.
"U-u-uh...excuse Nurse Mayumi...? I really don't mean to bother you, but could it be possible I get me some new clothes? These are a bit bulky...you see I'm just too small for these," Ren explained politely,"Would it be possible for me to get something a little smaller? I'm used to wearing girl-size clothes you see..." He paused a moment and blushed totally forgetting about that bandages that were placed on him the night before. "Oh, I don't think I'll be needing these bandages, may I take them off as well?"

Mayumi was just rushing about getting her early-morning preparations done when she noticed Ren. "Oh! Ren!" she exclaimed pleasantly. "You're up early." It was true, dawn had barely broken - patients weren't supposed to be roused until 8am at any rate. Mayumi grew more impressed as she noticed Ren's excellent state of health - there wasn't much sign of the wounds that had covered him all over yesterday. So he was a quick healer... Mayumi wasn't surprised, given his intention to become a shinobi, but it was still an interesting fact.
"Oh, Ren, you're so cute," she gushed at him. "Why don't you come with me. I was actually on my way to pick up a fresh change of clothes for all the patients in that block. You can pick out something with a nicer cut that fits your body better. Come on." Mayumi started walking with a bounce to her step. If she could radiate hearts, she probably would have been at this point. "As for your bandages, why don't you show me your wounds later? You seem to have healed really quickly, but I have to make sure that you're really fine before I let you do it." Mayumi surveyed Ren curiously before continuing. "If I may, Ren, I have a question. The new term of academy starts today..." Ren's arrival had actually been a great coincidence in terms of timing. "Do you intend to attend academy?"

Ren smiled warmly as his cheeks lit up with a blush that seemed unusually red compared to his pale skin. His eyes revealed a sort of timeless sparkle as Nurse Mayumi spoke. "I understand, thank you! I will make sure to do that, Nurse Mayumi," answered Ren excitedly," Is it really so soon? I barely would have missed it then, huh?" He moved light on his feet to Mayumi's side, following her graciously.
The child took a moment to gather his thoughts, being that the news had surprised him. His mind went back to Andou...the kind shinobi who lead him to the hospital after treating some of the wounds Ren had. Without much thought thereafter, Ren triumphantly spoke," Yes, I would hope so! I've wanted to for a very long time...become like my father I mean!" Ren's pace seemed to hasten a bit as he nearly became a step or two ahead of Nurse Mayumi, but not too far as to completely out walk her.
