"Yes, and that strapping boy over there is the reason why. And the really ironic part is the fact that the girl he is with is her sister." Nero laughed a laugh that seemd more in pain than anything else. "I need a drink, badly." Nero walked off, slower than usual.

Raven followed after, knowing from the tone of Nero's voice he was hurt, Raven smirked, not in the mean way, the understanding way, " And you sound like you need someone to talk to. " He said it in a tone that sounded so proudful and heroic. He was weird that way. But he was only trying to be humorous, to break the tension a bit.

Nero simply bahhed and continued onward. It seemed as though he was being forced to live through all the terrible things in his life over and over again. First his wife's killer had appeared, now his commander that sent him to die was following him to a bar. "What a way to wake up."

Raven gave Nero a sort-of glare, as he sat down at the bar beside him. The bartender asked if he wanted a drink and he answered yes. " Hey. Listen. I understand, sure your life has been hectic. But you can't just jump to conclusions. I wasn't the one who sent you on that mission. It was my commander that did. But they dont want the head of the army to look bad,no! so they blammed it on me. The head of our unit. " He looked serious. He was telling the truth, " I honestly tried to stop it from happening. But he wouldn't listen. "

Nero sighed. He took a shot and downed it without flinching. "If you say so. To be honest, it doesn't matter anymore. I don't have much time left." He took another 3 shots, one right after the other. He then kinda stared at his glass. He coughed a long and hacking cough and his hand was covered with blood. Nero smiled coldly. "How cruel life is."

Raven flinched, " much time left?... What the hell are you talking about?" Raven finished off what was left of his first drink and asked for another. It seemed to be hard for him to drink the 2nd. He wasn't that big on alchohol.He'd seen the blood and his eyes widened. " Whoa. " He stared at the blood and back at Nero, " ...Have you seen a doctor yet? "

Kagu-Chan loves him and my attempt on his life must have made her hate me." Nero took three more shots, and laughed. "You know what is funny? I wanted to kill that boy so bad that it drove me night and day, but now, I can't bring myself to kill him." Nero coughed again, this time, more blood came out. Nero took a rag and cleaned up. "Tell no one. I don't want them to turn any softer than they already are."

Raven gave Nero a seious look, " Stop that. " He said, " That's not true and you know it. I'm sure plenty of people have gotten to know you, and still need you here, don't go all emo. " He took a sip of his drink. " I know I'd miss you. And the reason you can't kill that boy Aaron, Is probably because you've gotten to know the kid, grown a bit closer to him, and would know It'd be wrong to take his life from him. Because then, hed end up like Ameilia. And Kaguya would end up like you. And you don't want her to share that same pain you have to live through each day. Knowing the one you loved most, is gone. " His words were cold. But mostly true. This was just advice from friend to friend.

"You always were the wiser of the two of us. But I have seen a doctor, and they said there was nothing that could help me. Besides friend, we all must die sometime, and I miss Amilia so much." Nero ordered a beer and started drinking. Nero was starting to break down. "How sad. Still, I think I have one more thing to do before I do die." Nero suddenly stood up from the bar and started to walk away, but he started coughing again and he fell to his knees for a moment, but he quickly recovered.

Raven spined his stool chair around, staring at Nero with worry. But knowing his friend was out for blood. " Maybe if you'd stop moving around so much. You might live longer. " He muttered. Staring at his drink, then followed Nero, without letting him notice he was there. Trying to figure out what he was up to.

Kaguya was greatful that Aaron and Nero didn't get into another fight. She watched Nero and the new guy leave and was kinda of sad. She wanted to know more about them. She sighed. She then looked at Aaron. "You'll get stronger. Maybe we can together. I know Nero won't be around all the time. He might decide to leave our group. You know that makes me sad. He might thinks I hate him....but I don't." She smiled sadly. "When he almost killed you...I still don't think I could have hated him." She looked down at the ground her long black hair falling into her face and whispered. "I don't know how to hate."

Nero turned around at Raven's comment. "Stop moving? That would be an omission of defeat. You remember our unit's motto. 'Never retreat, never surrender'. Besides, I need to have a word with a man I left something with." Nero headed out the door. By the time Raven snuck out, Nero was already gone. He was quite skilled at disappearing without being seen.

Raven stopped, Nero had just seemed to dissappear into thin air. Raven sighed, and leaned against the doorway, " that man.... " He had a serious/concerned look, " ...Seriously needs to consider his health. " He payed for his drinks and walked out of the bar. Heading back to where he'd met the other three. Kaguya, jesse, rain, and that boy Aaron.
Aaron smiled at kaguya, but sighed, " Hate. Is a real weird thing... " He said, placing his arm on her face, " ... Sometimes you don't even have to know a person to hate them. Hate just makes everything more complicated.... Not having that emotion. Your lucky.... " He began to pull her into a kiss, " Love, on the other hand... "

Kaguya eyes began to water, she wanted to cry. She knew that everything Aaron said about hate was true. She looked up at him and blushed slightly as a tear fell down her face. "I know it is.....I guess I am." She blushed even redder, and started to smile. "What about love?" She asked him teaseingly.

Nero walked down the street to a very dark part of town. He walked into a particularly shabby little shop. Nero walked over to the store owner, who was a short and pudgy old man. He smiled quite happily, almost out of place for the shops dreary little decour. "I have come to pick up a package." The store owner smiled and reached under the counter, almost like he knew Nero was coming. Nero placed three gold coins on the table and picked up the package. Without anyother words between them, Nero walked out and door. "I better head back to the inn. Kagu-Chan should be there."
