"The medic that diagnosed it called it 'the creeping death'. Doubtless it has to do with the slow infection rate, and the fact that it slowly kills every part of the body it touches." He laughed slightly. "It's strange. For the first time in my life, I do not know what to do. It's always been the same way: every battle is merely a game of chess, you can always think your way through an obstacle and checkmate. But now..." he smirked. "It's my opponent's turn and he's got his whole set on his side, while I'm running out of pieces to play. I haven't been this stumped since the first time I attempted to solve a Sudoku puzzle.

((You could think of it as such. Basically, as the infection spreads, it becomes harder to focus chakra through infected parts of the body. Think of it as cancer for the chakra coils.))

Karu frowned. "Perhaps." He closed his eyes. "I would require medical supplies and a means to isolate the cells that cause the disease. Given that and someone to help with the actual chakra-involved portion, I could devise a means to slow the process, or contain it."

"Doubtless returning to Leaf would prove highly ill-advised; I believe Doku already knows about me. And of course going back to Sand is out of the question; doubtless my name has become known to the hunters by now." He smirked. "Which reminds me, do you have a name yourself, Sir 'Baku's Assistant?'"

"Correct, returning to Leaf would be a very bad thing. I suggest we head to Sound, Orochimaru might hold some use for us in terms of sheltering you. It will definately keep the hunters off your tail." He cleared his throat as he packed up then looked over at Karu after he had asked his lat question. "No, I do not have a name. My codename is of not needing to mention as of yet, for we are being watched." He knew of Taizen's presence.
