Phoenix315 Streamjumper Phoenix315 Woah... gnomes start out each day with + 1x#of gems HP. O_O;;; I wonder what the downside of the race is... -10% attack.
EDIT:They also have increased gem find, like felynes, samurai and vikings.
EDITEDIT: It appears it can also be 2x# of gems.
Sorry about that typo, I meant the number of gems, not 10x. gonk sweatdrop I got sick of barbarians. Apparently the only thing you get is increased xp from fights... but you get very little money and the numbers I'm seeing from fight damage didn't look quite right. It looked like I was taking a bit too much and dishing out a bit too little.

Well, I changed my race from barbarian to another loser... lich. Apparently, the idea behind litches is that you lose 10 - 15% of your defense to being frail and gain extra skill uses.
I dare to say that my favorite race so far has been vampire, followed by ghoul. If Imps don't have to be evil, then I'll be checking that one out next.

Why is it so hard to stay neutral. gonk Other than PKing and random alignment-altering events, HOW do you get more evil?

Skizzors Quote: While initially Ramius enjoyed playing this game with you, she is no longer amused. You feel her wrath descend upon you! *bliiiiink* How long has Ramius been a girl? o_o; Ever since visiting that doctor in Shadowbrook...

I lost some fights, but the defense bonus was enough that I was able to go thrillseeking 90%+ of those fights, so I still moved up pretty quickly. And even then I needed a lot less healing (especially when I had my phoenix gonk ) so I made gold pretty easily as well... Vampire's definitely pretty nice as well.

Rawr. I made mention of this in the clan area, but I'll say it here, too...
We're getting to the point of having more gold going into the vault than is going out. At the rate most of us earn gold versus what we need back on a new life, we seem to be steadily building up an excess of gold.
I'm thinking that if any guild members would like houses, this would be a good time to take some money out of the vault (without fretting about paying the guild back) and buy one. There's around 60k in the vault right now, and at level 13 I've got 150k in the bank. Certainly, we can keep shifting the majority of the gold around between the guild leaders as we've been doing, but at this rate it will keep building up unless it gets spent on something.
Same goes if anybody needs some gold for pets or mounts. I think we've got enough funds to see to it that all our guild members are well-equipped.

I don't want a house, so~ But I think I'ma need 45k every time after I kill the dragon.. I got 30k this time around, and I've had to scrape around for money a few times. [Not to the point where I had to request from the vault, but still.]

Phoenix315 o-o I've never had to request beyond the 25k-30k from the beginning. I haven't but my money problems.. uh. >_>; Yeah, well, I've been trying to bribe Cedrik lately.. otherwise I'd have a BIT more.. even so.. If you bribe him, ask who's upstairs, then prowl the corridors, if you're lucky you can get into Randall's store, where for 10 gems you can buy a Vial of Poison. I'm not quite sure what it does exactly, but it's awesome for dragonkilling. whee [I used my 5-point thievery skill with it, though. I dunno how good it is on its own.]
