((Ruby speaks truth in calling Ora a lying whore. Honestly, since when has a grumpy old drunk guy's word been accurate? Especially on complex matters involving someone he openly admits not knowing all that well, or being close to.))

Maybe he's right in advising that option, if the alternative would be a Ruby that hates Arch and would try to kill him and all that fun stuff, but that isn't the alternative, Ora said it herself. Alloran's not wrong in his judgment, off of what Ora said, but he is wrong about what Arch's going to do.))

((It wouldn't be a "Ruby has betrayed me! Kill!" It would be a "She's running at me with a knife, I'm going to prolly get the s**t kicked out of me while I try and reason with her, but so be it" with the eventual death of one of them.
As for what he's going to do, you'll just have to wait and see, hmm? I hope Ora knows this isn't going to go well for her. Even if Arch loses Ruby and becomes an ineffective leader, there's still plenty of power to go around and mess Ora up. He woulda lost 1-on-1, but how 'bout Alloran with the Seer and Merlin? Or hell, just the Seer? Or hell, just Merlin? Merlin and the Seer know her weakness.))

"I don't like the angel, he's egotistical, vain, a hypocrite, and he slaughters my native language for the pleasure of it. I don't like him, but I'd probably consider him a friend, and I'd doubt he's any danger to you."
She glanced at Blitz, "should we take her on a picnic?"

So is everyone else she knows, what ever happened to him letting her sleep in his room when she was on the run, then going warp nude to get her back home when she wanted to? That hurts.... And Ruby, you shouldn't go to Mississippi.))

It's complicated to explain --She also knows she's talking to Ruby, and she knows Ruby can be a tad posessive and has inately always distrusted Erica.))

Despite whatever emotions she was going through at the moment Ruby felt the urge to defend Arch."He ain't a hypocrite an' the drawl is beautiful. An' even if he is egotistical, that ain't always a bad thing." She resisted the urge to shout out nasty comments on Xeen, and took a small step back. She was close to tears but nodded. "No Mississippi for now. But will we have strawberries on the picnic?"

"Thank you, sug." Ruby caught the lemonade and followed after him. She was careful at first, testing her foot in the hallway before walking through it. Then she made sure to walk extra fast to leave the place.

Erica caught the lemonade and looked at it skeptically, but after a moment she shrugged and followed after. "There's a park not too far from here, used to take Ora there when she was a kid to play on the swings. It would be a nice place to have a picnic."
