Roran was extremely worried now. Having gotten Delene to take him where VIvan was, he was hiding with Syrva off to the side. He heard a few screams and he was about to charge in when someone came out. It looked to be a man, with VIvan and another man. Roran could tell by the limp actions of the third man, he was dead. Vivan was crying and seemed lost, while the original male led them off. Following at a good distance, he took his bow out. Aiming precisly, he shot three arrows, all hitting this leader male in the back.

He followed them back to Keros's castle, and was astonished to see one of the men take this bandit in, leaving Vivan to the dead man. Something's not right here. THe bandit that led Vivan and the dead man out, brought her here? Jumping of Syrva, he'd let her roam. She'd come when he whistled, so it didn't bother him. Rushing in after the bandit he had injured, the door was shut. knocking, he opened it a little, peering in. It hit him then that this was Amaya's room. Hearing their convorsation, his eyes widened. What have I done?!?

Knocking now, he opened the door, stepping in. Sitting down next to the bed, he stared at this bandit. Examining the body, he didn't move. "A-Amaya?" He shook his head, rising and walking out of the room. "That can't be Amaya. If it is....I just shot my...my...my Queen." He was muttering what seemed to be nonsense to himself, just to make him feel better. Bursting into his own room, he sat on his bed, his head in his hands. He was really confused. What if that was Amaya, then what will I do? A sorry doesn't make up for shooting anyone. I could have killed her! I had WANTED to kill her! "Good God, what kind of monster am I?!?"

Amy looked around, her vision still blurry "hello?" she shouted again, getting nervous, and trying with all her might to free herself of the chains. A drop of blood was running down her forehead, and when she looked at her body, she remembered what the assassins had done to her. "crap" she said, pulling the chains, and trying to break something so that she could get free. "it's no use" a man said, she looked up to see a black outline infront of her, but no more, for her vision was blurry. She strained her eyes. "you wont be able to see for the next few hours, we drugged you" the man said.

Amy shook her head and tried to see again "who the hell are you? and where the hell am i? and why the hell am i where i am?" she asked, not scared but more annoyed. "you are far away from where we got you, i am the lead assassin, and you are here because we kidnapped you" the man said calmly. Amy got annoyed trying to rip herself free to beat the hell out of this guy "why you little....i cant believe this s**t, let me go, fight me, come on, i took the others, you wont be that bad,....and let clive go you incolent fool" she shouted. But the man injected her with a dart, and she fell unconscious again

Kaname saw Roran walk in but stayed silent until he left. He must of realized that Amaya was the cloaked figure. Rushing over to the bed, Kaname ripped the sheets off and stripped Amaya of her weapons and clothing, replacing them with a simple, white, silk gown that she normally slept in. After that was done, Kaname hid the weapons and clothing away where no one could find it and let Amaya rest.

Waking up a few hours later, Amaya groaned as she sat up, looking around the room. Her back felt as though it were on fire, and being stabbed at the same time. Looking at what she was wearing, she realized that Kaname had changed her and Amaya slowly rose from her bed. The gown only went to her knees, and the straps were quiet thin, but no one ever judged Amaya for walking around the castle this way, since she normally never had time to relax. Her hair lay flat once more, covering up scars on her back from fights and harsh tutors. Out of all of her sisters, she had the toughest tutors, being severly punished for anything that wasn't done perfectly, but she never complained. If she went through it, then her sisters didn't have to, and she was fine with that logic. Gauze was wrapped around her chest to cover the wounds on her back, and luckily, that didn't show either as she walked down the corridors of the castle barefoot.

Light taps were heard on the stone in the north wing of the castle as Amaya walked barefoot through the halls. Walking through an ornately carved door, she found many people garbed in black, standing around a bed. Quietly, she made her way over to the bed, where he father's pale body lay. "Your highness, when would you like the funeral to be held?" One asked as they raised their head to look at her, though she was not returning the look. "In two days in possible. I would like it to be at dawn, so the land of the dead can welcome my father into a new begining." She said solemnly as she brushed her hand on his cold cheek. The group nodded and then allowed Amaya to leave as she made her way back to her room.

Amy woke up after a long time. One of the assassins was in the room with her, but Clive was gone. She looked up surprised, her ision had regained clearity "where is he?" she askled the assassin. "where is who?". Amy shot him a disgusted look "the guy who you took with me?" she askd again. The assassin turned to her, bending down infront of her "oh that guy, he was taken away, boss said he was only a distraction to you. But then again, i can see why he came with you, you are one fine piece of meat" the man said. Amy looked at him very angrily, his head close to her face, she thought for a second, and then spit straight into his face. The assassin didnt hesitate long to slap her straight across her face, wiping away the spit, and laughing silently.

"spitting isnt gonna get you out of here, it will only make things worse for you" the assassin said. Amy looked at him emotionless "well seeing a great goose like you with spit in your face somehow satisfies me, so i guess i will take my chances" she said scoffing. The assassin got up, then only bent down to her face, grabbing her by the jaw "you need to build up a little more fear, you have no idea who you are dealing with" he said, she pulled her head away from him, not looking at him, but looking angry 'what do i do, these people will be wanting something from me, i am scared, but i cant show it, it's weakness, and will only satisfy them' she thought. Seeing him go back to the door guarding it

Roran didn't remember much. He had fallen asleep craddling his own head and now layed sprawled on the floor. He blinked a few moments, feeling awkward. Standing, his head spun, he was light headed. Putting a hand on the bed's edge to steady himself, he groaned. Looking around, a glass of water was at the bed's side, it was knocked over. "Wh-what?" Roran tried to remember, but his head throbbed. Wincing from the pain, he toppled over onto his bead, whispers in his head.

Tears running down his cheeks, his eyes shut tight, his teeth were gritted, and his hands clenched his hair as hard as they possibly could. "Go away," he muttered, but the voices didn't leave. "I said, go away," he spoke a little louder, but the voices refused to leave. They spoke of things insane, things sane, and many other things. He couldn't take it. It mad him mad, angry, furious. "I COMMAND YOU TO GO AWAY!" He screamed at himself, his head throbbing even more now. The pain was unbearable, he thought his head would explode. Sobbing, he bit the blankets underneath him, his world turning black.

~*~

He had no idea how long it had been. His eyes opened again as things seemed a little less fuzzy than before. He was now on his bed, the place his head was resting at felt damp. Had I been crying? He stood, the dizziness returning, but more tolerable now. Taking steps forward, his foot tapped the cup again. Bending over, his blood rushed to his head, making him fall to the floor. Rubbing his temple, he grabbed the cup and rose to his feet again, staggering towards the door.

He couldn't tell what the time was, or even recall what day it was. Once in the hall, he steadied himself with the wall, walking to the open door. "Help," he tried to speak, but his voice was extremely hoarse, and no louder than a quiet whisper. "Please," he tried again, his voice only getting worse.

Still clutching the cup, he knew he had to reach the kitchen. But where was it? Amaya hadn't shown it to him. Deciding the dining hall would be the next best thing, he staggered to it, barely able to open it's doors. Falling to his knees in the open doorway, he was tired, very tired. Holding the cup out, he tried to speak one more time, but it didn't change from before, "Help me..."

Amylooked at the assassin "what time is it?" she asked. The door opened and 3 more came in "bring her" the one in the middle said "bring me where?" she asked, But no one answered, the assassin unlocked her chains, and grabbed her, lifting her up and dragging her into another room. As much as Amy fought against his grip, it was useless, he was much too strong for her, "why dont you go up against somebody your own size" she asked kicking him and trying to break free. They entered another room, that had chains in the middle of it.

He dragged her towards them, and chained her two arms to the chains that were in the middle of the room on the ground, she could still stand up, but not go anywhere. "where is it?" another assassin asked who was standing infront of her leaning against the wall. "where is what?" she asked mockingly. The assassin smiled "the amulet". Amy looked at him confused "what amulet?" she asked, the assassin looked up at her "wrong answer" he said, nodding his head to the one behind her, who got out his wip and slashed her across her back. Amy screamed in pain as the wip hit her back. "what is wrong with you, i dotn know what you're talking about" she said again

Silently passing the dining hall, Amaya saw someone laying in the doorway. The light tapping of her feet stopped as she realized it was Roran and gasped, running over as she fell to her knees next to him. "Roran! What happened?! Are you alright!?" She asked as she put his arm around her shoulder, lifting him up with her. Amaya sharply inhaled in pain as the weight aggrivated the wounds on her back, praying the stitches wouldn't rip as she helped him over to a chair. A servant was walking through and she pointed to him. "Get him some water! And be quick about it!" She shouted before the servant ran off into the kitchen, quickly returning with the glass as Amaya tried to get him to focus. She gave him the water and looked at him concerned, trying to hide the pain she was showing in her eyes from the weight put on her back.

Amy was half falling down after 5 lashes, but the assassins kept picking her up to a new "i-i-i told you already, i dont know...aaaaaaa" she screamed as another wip came at her, the clothes on her back were completely riped already. "stop lying, there is only one amulet that was inherited by a family member of the kingdom of Keros, and that inheritant is you....we know, now where is it". As he said this, Amy's face lit up THAT amulet? he can't have that, mother gave that to me, i won't give it to some gruesome person like him Amy thought, she looked at him with one eye shut "i have no idea what you are talking about" she lied, but all it helped was to get her another wip "we can do this all night, i have time" the assassin said his voice a little more irritated.

Xander nodded, “If you want, I can leave you be for a while. This garden is for you.” Being afraid he was forcing himself to much, he wanted the Princess to know him even if it took a lifetime. “But call me Xander, I prefer it. All my friends call me Xander.” He smiled kindly.
“Xander, we have a…” Seeing Xander being in company of Princess Aryana, Rico stopped halfway and bowed polite, “Your highness.”
Xander turned towards Rico, “What is wrong?”
“Pardon me, but this is best spoken privately.”
Xander looked at Aryana briefly, “I apologize for this.” Bowing politely, he walked towards Rico and they spoke privately.

“This concerns her as well.” Xander walked back towards Aryana, “Go to the King and tell him what you told me! I will go ahead.”
With that order Rico ran to the King.
“It would seem your sister is in need of assistance.” He said as he approached Aryana, “You see, Rico often keeps an eye out on the town. We had suspicions of assassins or bandits harassing the townsfolk. They showed themselves in the town. Princess Amy-Lee was seen in the town by Rico. She and a villager ran into the forest and were abducted by these assassins.” His fists bolded as he saw this more as in insult. To think that assassins in the Syra Kingdom can do as they pleased.
“I going to find and retrieve you sister.” He hesitated before asking, “Will you come along? Two have more chance of succeeding then one. And waiting for reinforcements may take to long.”

Amy kept repeating the sentence "i dont know what you're talking about" but the pain on her back became more and more unbearable, soon the assassin who asked her the question went over to the one with the wip "give me that" he said ripping it from his hand. Amy was shaking, her knees were weak, and as the assassin asked again and she replied the same, he wipped her about twice as hard as the other one, bringing her down to her knees, she sat on them in pain, blood running down her back, and her cheek, since the end of the wip had gone in her face "screw you" she said, but this only had a negative effect, he flung the wip aside and grabbed her by her hair "if you dont talk we will torture you friend" he said as clive was brought into the room, and tied to the wall which she was facing "are you gonna tell me?" the man asked, she didnt reply, and the assassin began wipping Clive, Amy's face lit up with terror "leave him alone you miserable b*****d" she shouted at him, but the assassin didnt stop, clives stomach was already bleeding "all you have to do is hand it over" he said, still wipping clive.

Amy was about to cry suck it up, it's weak to cry she told herself, looking at clive in pain this is another time where i am responsible for someone elses pain she thought, hearing clive scream in pain

ROran didn't bother seeing who helped him to the chair. Gasping for breath, he took the glass of water. About to chug it down, he stopped, placing the two cups next to each other. Seeing the design the same, he threw the one with water to the ground, now deciding to look at his helper.

As soon as his eyes saw her face, he was taken with shock. Tumbling backwards in the chair, he rolled to his hands and knees. Lifting one leg up, he was down on one knee and couldn't go further. "Amaya, please. I've hurt you enough...today!" Using the hand that wasn't holding the cup from his room, he put it out to keep her back incase she tried to come towards him. He had a feeling that she would be able to get by him no matter what he did, but he had to try. He couldn't hurt her anymore. "I think....I think I've...been...poisoned. I...I...I..." he stopped to take some breaths. "I need to get some clean water...I don't trust, anyone right now!" His voice was still hoarse, but had gotten strong enough to be at normal volume.

"Roran, I'm fine. You haven't hurt me at all today, but you need to calm down." Amaya replied, looking at Roran worried. She put his arm over her shoulder again and brought him into the kitchen, her back screaming in pain. She sat him down as she cupped her hands and dipped them in the water, bringing them back down to Roran's mouth as she forced him to drink. "I'm not going to hurt you and I'll find out who did this to you, but please Roran, you at least have to trust me." She begged as she looked at him. One of the wounds had torn open once more, and blood started seeping through the gauze.

AMy looked at the assassin "stop, what does he have to do with this? this is between you and me.....STOP, you crippled idiot" she shouted at him, as she called him a crippled idiot, he seemed to have gotten very affected by it, he turned around and walked over to Amy "what did you say?" he asked, Amy was happy to have gotten him away from Clive, "you heard me" she provoked him, though still being scared, before she could defend herself, she felt his fist pass across her face, making her fly to the floor from her sitting possition, blood running from her mouth "enough" someone said, as Amy managed to look up, she saw another assassin, though by what he was wearing it was obvious that his rank was higher than the other ones "we are not to kill her, just make her spill it, bring her to my office" the assassin said, leaving the room, the lower assassin nodded, throwing Amy an angry look, and untying the shakles, though still having handcuffs on her "lets go" he said, pushing her forward forcefully

Roran didn't bother protesting, taking the water she personally gave him greedily. Looking at the ground, panting again, he spoke, his voice normal. "You're bleeding. It's your back isn't it? Hmph. See, I did hurt you." Roran chuckled despite their situation. "I shot the supposed bandit who brought Vivan back three times in the back. Amaya, you're shot three times in the back. I saw you on your bed in the bandit's clothes." He rose to his feet, staggering over behind her, he slipped his hands into the sleeves of her gown, his hand going to her back. "I trust you to not poison me. Do you trust me to not touch the things I know I'm not supposed to?"

Without getting an answer, he gasped at the wounds he had caused. "I didn't know my arrows penetrated that far," he fluttered his fingers above one of the wounds, lightly touching it. Feeling the rough edges, he pulled his hand away, not wanting to hurt her.

Slipping to her front, he pulled her into a not-so-tight hug. He made sure his hands were low enough to not touch any wounds, and high enough to not pertrude anywhere he shouldn't have. "I'm so sorry. Your pain is my fault. Your bleeding is my fault. My fault..." he trailed off, his voice becoming hoarse again.

Amaya whinced a little as he touched the wounds, but looked at him as he hugged her. "It was an accident. You were just trying to save my sister. I couldn't be mad. I'm happy that you would do something like that to save one of my sisters." She said as she looked up at him and smiled. She kissed him gently on the lips and then blushed after realizing what she had done. "I'm sorry. That was just an impulse..." She said, feeling a little embarassed, thinking that he might not be ready for that yet.

She pulled away from his embrace, brushing her hair with her fingers over her shoulder, completely forgetting the scars on her back, which clearly showed as she walked away from Roran. She made her way back to her room and walked in, find Kaname. When Kaname saw the blood dripping down her arm, she got the needle and thread, sewing Amaya's wound shut again, seeing the other two had stressed stitches. Sighing, she undid the stitches and then closed the wounds again. Once all that was finished, Amaya changed into a black silk gown that was just like the other and sat on her bed, staring out the window.
