((Ok. I'll try to be on, I've only got one job tomorrow. Later!))I see. ::squeezes past him in the narrow hallway and goes to the kitchen:: As for breakfast food, I have. . . oatmeal. ::digs farther in, her voice muffled in the closet:: Here's some grits, and I wanted bacon the other day, so I've got some of that in the bottom drawer of the refridgerator. Oh! and here's a box of donuts they accidentally sent me last week. You can have em if you want. ::tosses them on the counter::

Remmy thought about what they had assembled. "Well, I could make you some grits and bacon if you'd like. Or oatmeal and bacon though grits generally tastes better. Oh, you know that Celtic Sea salt is much healthier for you than regular salt." he said, picking up a few items and figuring he might eat a few of those donuts.

You don't have to cook if you don't want to. ::coming out of the pantry with a box of grits:: I'm used to it. I hardly ever burn anything anymore.

Remmy chuckled and took the box of grits from her. "Don't worry about it, I'm a guest in your house and besides, I like to cook." he said, opening a few cabinets to get a pot and a pan so he could make the bacon and grits.

He hummed and put the pots and pans on the stove and turned the stove on. He got out the butter, which there wasn't much of, and melted it into the pan to make the bacon and then got some water for the grits.

Sorry I don't have much for breakfast. . . I usually tend to just eat cereal or something. Do you want any help?

Remmy shook his head. "Nah, it's all good. There's plenty of food here and I like it all. It's good." he said, eating a glazed donut as he cooked.

Alright, then. ::goes to a kitchen drawer and pulls out a small sketchpad and pencil, then starts idly drawing, trying to come up with an idea for her next picture::

Remmy just continued to move about the kitchen, soon done with the food. He grabbed some plates and some bacon onto each plate and then a scoop of grits each. "You want butter and salt on your grits?"

No thanks. I have a secret trick for grits. ::putting the sketchpad back in the drawer:: It's something my mom taught me once when she was trying to lose weight, but it's really good.

((no problem)) ::slices up her bacon and adds it to the grits, stirring them up until it looks like a rather nasty pile on her plate and starts eating::

((lol, that's how I eat my grits if you add some eggs to that)) Remmy didn't really pay much attention to what she was doing, he just sat his plate down and got them both some water. He sat down and began to chew on his bacon slowly, as if in deep thought. Though that was just how he ate generally.

::eats in silence for a little bit, then turns and grabs the sketchpad out of the drawer again and starts doodling. She had been trying to be polite and not "color at the table" as her mother put it, but since Remmy looks like he has other things on his mind than to talk to her, she figures it's alright and idly starts drawing the view out of the kitchen window, which is a set of stairs next to a neglected flower bed by the street::
