"Kaori watch out!" Dart said as he jumped in front of the black dragon and diverted it away.

"If you don't watch yourself the dragon may kill you, although I think I can keep an eye on it and divert it's attacks until we find a motive." Dart said after his sleeve got ripped off from the dragon swiping so close to him, under his sleeve you could see dragon scales, and for some reason, Dart began to show dark red scales all where his skin used to be.

"Don't worry about the scales Kaori, I usualy hid them, which helps me mantain a human like appearance. Since I got here, I've been less able to control my appearance and sight capabilities, which is usualy a bad thing, but in this case I think all my sight should be in my eyes since there is a black dragon with a powerful aura. But the whole accidental invisibility may be a problem. Kaori you need to always be ready to heal while I can only see through my eyes, it's great for one enemy at a time, not many enemies at once. Bert, shouldn't a telepath such as yourself be able to sence the motive of a living creature? If so than you may be able to give us an idea of who to watch more, but they may be able to trick even you, so don't attack until you're attacked, but I think I should be able to block you from this dragons first stike." Dart said in a serious tone.

"Good thing dragons have to adapt to attacking before they can actualy become a threat to me. Once the dragon attacks around five times, he may become to strong to block against, but dragons are so dumb for the most part that there attacks should be very obvious and easy to avoid, but unfortunately they adapt there speed during battle." Dart said trying to make sure his companions were well imformed.

"Kaori, Bert, one more thing...Make sure that the dragon doesn't hit the pendant around my neck, it will be terribly dangerous, expecialy since we're in Arisa's mind, I don't plan to hurt her, and unleashing such a devastating mess of powers and spirits to roam will kill her from the inside...that is if they go straight to me and try to take over me, and suceed, if the pendant does break, you must kill me. Understood? Dart said with a tinge of bitterness in his voice.

Dart jumps suddenly to an unseen force which cuts the side of his lip causing him to fall do to the uncetainty of where it came from and the speed of the attack, Dart however had never before fallen, and he was so terrified that his dark red dragon-like tail was exposed which caused him to fall not as hard, but still roughly.

"Apparently there's an unseen force at work here, or maybe the dragon cam from behind me and twisted quickly that I didn't notice his presence till he was five centimeters from me, either way, these eyes got in the way, however without them i couldn't see in any way now could I?" Dart said Retorically.

"Kaori, I hope you know what your doing, because if the dragon does another thing like that it's going to make me use my full strength, which weakens my pendant terribly, which will make it break if it falls or is scratched lightly, which may cause Arisa to die due to the overwhelming power of the creatures, and even more of a chance for her to die if they take control of me." Dart said with his face hardened near the scratch.

"I don't remember any sort of pain beyond the pain of 10,000 years ago, but that pain was unbearible, and nearly killed me, and then, they could've have done worse than kill me, they could've taken over me if I were'nt adapted to the battle conditions. By the way, me being part dragonic demon is part of how I know so much about the dragon, however my mix of races has caused me to be so much more unpredictable and quicker, most dragons don't know the secret of power, they only know pure strength." Dart said vaugely.

"I haven't had a good battle in a long time. I hope this will change that. I hope my practice sessions in the backroom have helped me stay sharp. Those games of checkers should help. Remind me to thank Arisa for helping me stay sharp with all her textbooks, and also remind me to apologize for reading her textbooks, they just look so nice compared to those textbooks that I used when I was an aprentice to my...to my father."Dart said his mood sudenly changing.

"Did you know that most demons have to kill thier father in order to prove manhood? And they have to kill thier mothers to prove brutality? I bet you all think that I killed my parents after saying that don't you. Calm down I didn't...atleast not on purpose. The demons set me up to battle my father and kill him. My father was the one who recommended it. Demons pass on thier powers upon death, and death by your own son is something honorable, and wanted among most demons, however the demons were just trying to get rid of my father who ruled them and they feared him. They were very foolish thinking if I were to kill my father they'd have nothing to fear..."Dart said than took a deep breath.

"...But they didn't think that they'd be threatened by someone who was strong enough to kill him, as well as my mother, expecialy at the same time. At the start of this battle, they throw one of my scales that they pulled off of me, and threw it straight at my pendant. It broke. Nothing happened, atleast not immediately, they thought that there was nothing stored in there, but my dad knew there was, and he didn't want to stop it, because he wouldn't want me to surpress and form of power against him, he knew that I'd need it. After a minute or so of nothing happening, I was taken over completely by that that infested the amulet...I don't remember after that, but I remember seeing my parents gone and the demons cheering." Dart said grimly.

She gasped as she looked back at bert and dart "c'mon angel darn you speak!!!" she yelled at the angel standing befor her Darn all it does is stand there what am I supposed to do........bert is having a seizure and dart is fighting a dragon that I cant even see, and i am trying to talk this angel into helping us what to do... well seizures usually aren't deadly and dart is strong i will continue with what i am doing, but i will be ready to heal if needed she thought mapping out a plan

"C'mon guys just hold out a little while longer I need to get this angel to speak she may be the key to defeating the dragon" she yelled or the key to our deaths one of the two she thought she took a few more steps toward the angel and is now within arms reach of the angel being very careful and looking in the seemingly unarmed angel "please speak send me a sign or something let me know are you good or evil, to help or to hurt" she begged with the angel not really realizing how vulnerable she had become it is soo nice right here it is warm and there is a breeze.....Kaori get ahold of your self dont get lost in the angels aura she could catch you off guard in a heartbeat just keep on the task at hand...... she thought

"Bert are you okay? I still need you to be alive, feel free to die when this times of crises have ended, and the new begininnig starts, until then you must stay alive."Dart said Joking even though he was in the midst of battle. The dragon went right over his head and began to circle Dart, it has attacked him three times, it may be strong enough to hurt Dart severely by now.

"I lost count of how many times it has attacked me, I think it's been three. It's getting obvious how much faster it's gotten, I bet it could barely miss me phisicalley, but the backlash from the wind would hurt me, maybe even make some of my scales fly off. I just hope none of my scales attach to him, that could cause some kind of a trouble, similiar to a technology I've heard off, where you mix the DNA of two things and try to get them to take away the negative and create more positive." Dart said almost retorically, but he had actauly asked Bert and Kaori.

"You think Arisa will come back, after all this is her battle to be fought, not ours. I'll bet that we couldn't even harm these creatures, only she could. After all it is her mind not ours. Bert, I know that you've gone into many minds before, but have you ever encountered anything like this? And if so do you have any advice. I don't like being the one to give imformation about a dragon that resides in Arisa's pretty little head." Dart said dodging the dragon's forth attack, which made two of his scales fall to the ground then start burning up.

"Now if only that were the dragons scale. Well actualy no, I'd hate having to fight a flaming black dragon, but considering I'm the only one not using any other skill, I got stuck with strength, thanks you guys." Dart said sarcastically. The dragon attacked for the fifth time, Dart sneezed which caused the dragon to fly back into the wall, Dart began to laugh and then he hoped he would sneeze when he wasn't paying attension. Of course he wasn't serious. Dart would never be serious. Except about his feelings for Arisa. Even then he had trouble being serious. Now however, he is starting to become serious about the dragon, now that it has a chance to severely damage him, or even kill him. He knew that he couldn't die. Atleast not now, not inside Arisa. Not to a dragon who is not respected greatly. It would be a dishonerable death for one such as Dart, considering he was a prince, then a King till he was banished from the land and overpowered by the council of the order.

"Maybe she's a mute?" Dart said moronicly((i couldn't come up with anything that was long because you posted too short))

"It's truly your call, but be ready to counter attack or dodge if she tries anything funny, I'm the only one allowed to be funny." Dart said as the dragon came around for the sixth time and nearly hit him in his pendant, but due to his quick action and reflexes, The dragon missed the pendant, but unfortunately he ripped Dart's shoulder blade clear off, but Bert and Kaori could only see a dark sword fling off his should, and a hole where it would've been.

"Oww sh... that was so painful, but the dragon didn't hit my amulet, it seems that it might actualy be aiming for it though! Oh, I guess you are wondering about my shoulder huh? Well thing is I was so fearful that another one of my demon characteristacs appeared, well I could always do it, but the fear caused it to happen..." Dart said going into the expanation of what exactly the Demonic Characteristac was, Dart was hopeful that he wouldn't reveal his wings.

"Well you ever wonder why my family was royalty? It is, because in the 'Immortal Prophecy of the Ruling of Demons' states that the one who leads the demons into ruling humans is that who is fully able to make blades pertrude from any place on your body, and that the blades acted as if they were part of the demon that they came from. It is never a good thing to see these blades come out of us, or atleast the full demons of my family, because we become enraged, and start to shoot the blades at every living thing around us, fortunately for you, that isn't me. Lucky ain't you?" Dart said worried about him losing control of himself...again.

"Bert, flashing lights? Oh right siezures; flash some light Kaori, please." Dart said holding his shoulder trying to gain strength from his pain.

Bert walks to Kaori's side. He did not like the idea of getting caught in Dart's crossfire either. "Kaori, what are you planning I can't crack that angels mind. We could die either way."
