Maybe so...all the better to save up for Mega flare and by flying high into the air he'd be away from Oblivion attack and anniahlate Anima with Mega Flare

Nope Anima still has a part above ground to take the damage even if it unleashed it's underground form it would still take a beating above ground

Actually with the power of pain and Mega Flare, Pain has a larger power source, it doesn't take as long to charge as Mega Flare does so Anima has the clear advantage

Pain powerful as it is doesn't compete against Mega Flare, Oblivion would be more powerful but since Bahumut can fly he is protected from that so Mega Flare would anniahlate Anima

pain could still get bahamut though. it doesn't stop it hitting valefor and it flies

but Mega Flare has to be charged, pain doesn't thats the point, it takes awile for Mega Flare to charge.

anima would win it doesn't matter if a summon flies or not. Mega flare takes a while to use

And the damage caused by Pain would make Bahumut's charge time instant so he could still anniahlate

well this one is a toughy, but Anima has a larger power source than Bahamut, seeing how it is used by Semyour first.
