shorty15541 Homicidal Fangirl Our show's theme this year was "Heroes." It was pretty cool, because supposively it was inspired by members on the band's stories of their heroes. (I'm a freshman; I'm out of the loop. xD)
Our pieces included: Exultate (That had crazy woodwind runs. ohmygod.), Noisy Wheels of Joy, Sleep, and Superman Reprise. Oh I saw that one it was pretty good Really?! =O Where did you see it?

We had the coolest show. Since it was 2007, the theme was "007: The Music of James Bond." Our T-shirts said "Shako'd, not stirred."
The songs were the James Bond theme, Welcome to Cuba, the World is Not Enough, and African Rundown.
And the best part? Our costumes. I'm on Color Guard, and waiting to see what the costumes look like is a very anxious time because guard uniforms are notoriously hideous. But to go with the Bond theme, we had black halter tops with white tuxedo-style collars and silver swirly stitching with black wide-legged jazz pants. They were awesome.

This year our theme was "A Dream To Fly"
ugh i don't remember our song titles we only had two i know one was Flight of the Thunderbird...
it was a show about the Wright brothers and the first attempts at flying...

marching season ended for me a while ago but i was a c2 caddet and p1 clarinet marcher we palyed the chase show this year next year we are doing the styx show ^^

Asthen We're doing west side story. stare Mambo Maria Cool I Have a Love Somewhere Tonight I'm mad that we're doing such a cliche show, but it's our first year with a pit so I guess it's a beginning pit show? Who knows, it's lame. Penguin: We played Karn Evil 9 for a show two years ago. I love that song! whee we played that last year..terrible.....no one wanted to do it & so the whole band messed up on purpose...

This year our show was "Area 51" something to do with the whole Roswell thing in new mexico eh...it was ok
but i still love my freshman show called "Bristish Invastion"
we played AUSTIN POWERS!!! & we danced!
next year is talk of "Rock Show" _- cool -_

My band's show was The 47 Ronin.
The music pieces were:
Lord Asano
The Masterless Samuri
Death to Kira
It was soooo awesome! biggrin We got to do Tae Kwon Do and Tai Chi. Since the show as Japanese, we are going to have a Japanese themed band banquet, using our props fom the show. The props were huge rolling Japanese murals painted by the art club in our school. The moved with the band on the field as we did our formations during the show. I can't wait for our band banquet! biggrin

this is my first year in martching band and our show theme was MARY POPPINS!!!!! it was so much FUN!!!! our selestions were Feed the birds, Chim Chim Cheere(sorry if i spelled it wrong), Spoonful of suger, step in time, lets go fly a kite, and supercalifragilisticexpiladocious( i think i spelled that wrong too) and i was in the color guard and it was so COOL... our martching season ended with the 2007 warrior classic compatition!!! we almost won grand champion if we had a 96 overall total!!!!! and for our props we had chiminys!!!!!!! they were so cool our chiminys also had SMOKE!!!

this year we did theme from "cars" it included-life is a highway, our town, real gone, and born to be wild........

I don't remember if I posted here before o_O. Oh well. Our theme this year was Ska, Sing, Swing and we played Skafather (Ska version of Godfather), Maria from West Side Story, and Big Noise from Winnetka.

Ours WAS Planets: A Journey Through Space. We won MANY Grand Sweepstakes and others....... so we pretty much owned. (it was my first season and our schools best EVER)

our marching was dedicated to some movies(kind of modern to see a band)ours was brass was pirates of the carribean tribute....percusion was alvin and the chipmunks xD, woodwinds was something i forgot(srry), and the drum majors dressed like santa(male drum major) miss clause(female drum major)
