"I see. Yes, Skye is brave and does try very hard but can get ahead of himself at times." she replied simply. Standing in the middle of the room, she waited for Reeve to be prepared to go. Since she brough only herself, there was nothing to prepare with. Though their rest had been brief, she realized that she still did not feel completely refreshed and realized also that she was very concerned with the idea of Reeve returning to that other dimension as she recalled his father saying that he would likely not return if he went. This caused her to worry. "Sh..should I go? When I was there before, without you .. he said something about .. he being useful. And I do not believe he meant that in any sort of good way."

Opening another drawer he spoke again. "No offence to your friend, but brave with no brains is a deathwish." Finally he pulled out a very nicely crafted dagger. The blade of the dagger was made from gold, while the hilt was made from some kind of black metal. All along the blade there was red symbols and designs. He then pulled out a small scabbard for it. It was made of leather and had several jewels crafted onto it.
"Do not worry about my father, I can take care of him." Reeve said as he went to her. Carefully he heald the dagger and scabbard out to her. "I made this. The symbols on it will nullify you inability to use magik in that place... as long as it's on your person that is." He smiled and waited for her to take the items.

She lowered her gaze with his first comment. It was not particularly insulting but it did make her wonder why he would say that. When he moved to her, she stared at the items in his hands. When he spoke, she looked at him with an almost annoyed look of confusion. "Nullify the inability .. you mean this will allow me to use magic as if I were in this dimension?" she asked, looking up to him, tilting her head. Once asked, she returned her attention to the items, and slowly, hesitantly took them from him.

"Yes, thats what I mean..." Reeve said. He was trying to hurry, for the vision ment only one thing. Soon a high pitched sound entered his mind. The defences around his mind began to crumble as if there were nothing, untill finally only the last remained. "Get out of my head you b*****d..." He mummbled, taking a few steps back from Ziven. Somehow his father had forced himself into Reeve's mind. His face did not show it, but the way he was reacting was an obvious indication. Placing his hands on his temples, he muttered something over and over again in the language Soloman and Viper spoke to one another in.

Though he moved away, she moved closer again. Instinctively she spoke the wards that would place wards of protection on him to prevent others from entering his mind. "I can help. Let us go."

When she spoke the wards he sighed slightly with releif. The tugging at his mind had stopped completely, though the sound remained. "Yes... let us go." His head dropped a bit and he muttered sometihng again. There was a sudden shriek that seemed to come from nowhere, then suddenly a large blade appeared in his hand. The blade was made out of a black crystal-like substance. It had a red hue to it, bloodstains most likely, and inside there seemed to be something moving. The energy that the sword gave off was not only enormous, it was constantly changing in structure. One minute the energy felt like an animal, other times it felt to be human, and sometimes it seemed to have some kind of monsterous quality. Just grasping the sword made Reeve's hand change, turning it grey and leather-like. He just stared at the sword for a moment, unsure if he liked the power coming from it or not.

A brave smile shown on her face when he replied. A moment later when he seemed to be concentrating on something, there was something else happening, a sword soon appeared in his hand. There was an odd feeling about it. Her instincts told her to move away from it so she did. "I do not know if I trust that weapon." she said softly, looking at the sword with an almost sad look though still curious.

Looking at her, he smiled softly but his eyes showed worry. "This sword was not created to be trusted, it was created to destroy anything it comes in contact with... And it is good at what it does." The sowrd seemed to pulse, a silver light emmitting from it. Then the sword began to rise up, his arm changing like his hand did. Reeve actually had to hold onto his wrist and push down on it so that it wouldn't do anything... bad. "Come on, I cannot open the tear from in here." He said as he began to walk out the door.

Soon they were outside, but before Reeve did anything he needed to come up with a plan. The first one that came to mind was the most simple. "When we get there, I need you to get your friend out of the tower as quickly as you can. I will distract my father for as long as possible..." With a slight movement of his hand the tear opened, showing a slightly lit hallway. At the end of the hallway there was a large door, and next to the door was Mask. "And Ziven, in case something happens... Know that I love you, alright?" He said with a smile slight smile to her, he then began to walk through the Tear.

Listening to his advice, she nodded and decided to go with it the best she could. His last words before moving through the tear stung for some reason. She pushed her feelings aside as quickly as she could and followed after him, replying softly; "No matter what happens, know that I love you."

Sitting on the ground, Reeve shook his head slightly. The blast through the tear had made the everything spin for him. Looking around, he tried to see if everyone had made it through.

Wincing as she had not realized what was going on at first, she quickly opened her eyes to see what was going on Reeve was on the floor, and he looked confused. Going to his side, she knelt beside him, gently touching his shoulder. "Reeve, are you alright?" she asked, looking worried. Little did she know that Gage was launching an attack on Skye behind her.

"As alright as I can be." Reeve said with a slight smile and a nod. He had not felt anything upon impact, not a single thing. Even now he could feel the wind on his face and her touch on his shoulder, but there was no pain. His smile broadened a bit as he looked into her eyes for just a moment before he got to his feet. "Are you alright?" Some debris might have gotten through the portal; so he worried about her safety.
