"Well... first off my ship can only traverse sea. I was in pursuit of someone when I reached the southern coast. Its more to the west, but still quite a ways south. I should've realized that I...

Vell zhatz very classic of you, to have a boat zat can only sail. Its "cyute" even.

::And as he said cute he brought his hands up to his face and said it in a tiny voice to really drive the point home.::

But. Zhat simply vill not fly, to fly it needz vings, booztars, a fuzion drive...Vell for zhat you'd need no hull plating to avoid imploding....

::As he listed parts his started counting them on his fingers as if his mind had already begun processing new designs, and formulas and various parts and pieces, as well as the parts and tools he'd need. In his mind he made a sort of makeshift inventory list.

....Unless your really into zhat "Vintage" look. Zhat could change zhings, I'll need to take a lo--

::It was a rant, or it was about to be a rant until he was was stopped just short of begin to vocally splurge by Silvers meeker voice.::

Silver Moonblade
"Um... would you mind if I asked you what might be considered a personal question?"

::Well in all honesty he wasnt expecting that. He was more expecting that a Majik such as Silver would take whatever he could and just escape never to be seen again or thanked or anything. He was fine with this idea, just as you'd have to be fine with the idea that if you stuck your bloody hand in a shark pool you might not pull back a whole hand. It was an acceptable loss to the Doctor.

But this...he was probaly thinking too much of it. As per always this would find a way to become a request for something. No matter. Despite all these thoughts his response was right on cue as he faced Silver with a smile and said.::

Sure, vhats on your mind?

::The Elevator had a long way to go and with only one spider towing the steel box up the shaft it was a thumpy ride. 8 legs can only move so smoothly. But at least it was quiet.::

Silver didn't mean to cut him off, but it all went over his head anyways. A fusiondrive? What was it fusion. But as long as he already got his permssion, he better ask least he annoy him.

"Umm... why is it that you and your family distrust and hate magical creatures from this world so much? Something has to have happened..."

He knew this might upset the man, but Silver had to know to better understand him. Maybe if he could understand the doc, he might beable to at least try to dispell their dstrust of all things magical... and maybe his distrust of them as well. In all actuallity, he was willing to risk retaliation, as much as he may fear it.

"Umm... why is it that you and your family distrust and hate magical creatures from this world so much? Something has to have happened..."

::No one can exist getting angery at everything. And this really wasnt the first time, nor would it be the last time that one would. But one piranha out of the school wouldnt not convince you that piranha were nice creatures. But the Doctor didnt say anything like that. He smiled and said.::

I know vhat you are trying to do, and its sveet of you. But itz useless. Here let me give you an example. Can I see your hand?

::The Doctor held out his right hand and drew a black pen from his jacket, with a click he released the ball point and grabbed the pen as if ready to draw. Whilst his right hand waited for Silver to place his hand, in the Doctors grip.

All the while he simply smiled just as he always had.::

Silver hesitated for a moment, but then he decided to comply. After all, he did save Silver's life, and warned him of his magical ailment. That alone was enough to get some trust and respect. If the doctor really wanted him dead, he would have left SM in the field. Had he wanted Silver to suffer, he could have left him with Brian to 'play with' to its twisted hearts concent.

"....alright..."

Placing his arm out, he could only wonder what the doc would do.

::The Doctors right hand clamped just below Silvers wrist. It was strange how tight his grip was. And how even though his right hand looked normal it felt so cold, and so hard. It could also be said to be strange how his right sleave always seemed to be puffed, like he was wearing some sort of large bracelet beneath it.

But that was beside the point. Not once did the Doctors eyes leave Silvers eyes. He started directly into Silvers eyes as he held a lock on his wrist and slowly lowered his hand and the pen. The pen was ominous, it could mean so many things. He could do so many things. Silver had extended him trust, but would the Doctor prove to be trustworthy?

Slowly the pen crept closer to his hand and the Doctors gaze never faltered for one moment until...contact. The pen gently touched Silvers palm making a single black dot. And the Doctor spoke, whilst still staring straight in his eyes.::

Vhen I look into your eyes, I see fear. Fear of me, fear of vhat I vill do. You vorry, but you still extend trust...

::He began drawing light circles around Silvers hand, making a spiral of sorts as he continued.::

But, iz zhat trust velcomed? I have saved you. But maybe I vant you to suffer? I releazed you from Brian....but maybe I vant to make you zuffer myself? You do not know. You are afraid, but you take the leap of faith forward. And you, vith your strong hand, a swordsmens hand, risk zhat hand zhat is possibily your life...in zhe name of trust...

::The motion of the pen stops as the pen hovers just above the center of Silvers palm.::

Zhis iz only right. It iz called bravery, courage, truzt, society teaches zhat zhese are virtures, zhey are to be revarded...

::SLAM. There was no warning. In the blink of an eye it was over. The Doctors right hand squeezed like a vice grip around Silvers wrist as his left hand jabbed that pen down with all the force his arm could muster. As a doctor who spends days sawing through bone...that was alot of force. He would Jam that pen directly through Silvers palm and out the other side. This was an injury that would hurt. And once the resistance of Silvers flesh against the pen ceased and the writing utensil ripped free of his flesh the Doctor released both the Pen and Silvers hand leaving time a few seconds for pain to set in before he continued.::

...Revarded vith pain. You vill never truzt me zhe same again. No matter how many times I ask for your hand again vhile holding a pen, you vill never trust it again....now you understand.

-Ding!-

::Some children dont learn until they touch the hot stove. The Elevator came to a stop and the doors swung open to reveal quite the messy room. A room full of wires and computers like a silicon jungle. There were even the random clicks of "creatures" which were obviously the clicks of computers. And in the distance, a single bald man in a black jumpsuit stood by a desk with his arm removed and sitting on the disk while he performed repairs on it. His sleave was tightly wound up allowing anyone to see that is arm was not severed but rather removed as in, disattached by means of a joint. The floor marker on the top of the elevator read "01". And as the doctor stepped forward into the room and away from Silver, he spoke a single command word.::

Repair.

::Like a bolt of lighting a cloud of gray attacked Silvers hand causing an army of tickles that would bring an elephant to its knees laughing, if elephants could laugh. And in about 8 seconds the cloud vanished, and Silvers hand was literally good as knew and there was no sign of the pen what so ever.

The Doctor looked back with the same smile, and gestured for Silver to follow.::

As odd as it may seem, Silver wasn't surprized at how the doctor's cold, strong hand gripped his wrist. It was like he had experianced it before, and unbeknownist to him, he had. Just in a delusion. He was, however curious about his arm, and what was underneath the sleave. He wasn't rude enough to ask, though.

I see fear. Fear of me, fear of vhat I vill do. You vorry, but you still extend trust...

Silver stared into the eyes of the doctor, not faltering even to look at what was being done to his palm. He was too cuaght up in the man's speech, paying careful attention to every single word said. He didn't even notice as the pen hovered over his hand.

You are afraid, but you take the leap of faith forward. And you, vith your strong hand, a swordsmens hand, risk zhat hand zhat is possibily your life...in zhe name of trust... Zhis iz only right. It iz called bravery, courage, truzt, society teaches zhat zhese are virtures, zhey are to be revarded...

Kcrreeccchh! The pen went through Silver's hand like a hot knife on butter, as the grip the doc had on his arm tightened. He let out a small gasp of pain as his purple blood poured forth. The bone itself had been pierced, and Silver was in quite a bit of pain. But pain was his middle name now a days, so after a few seconds he meerly glared into the mans eyes, attempting to ignore the pain entirly.

You vill never truzt me zhe same again. No matter how many times I ask for your hand again vhile holding a pen, you vill never trust it again....now you understand.

Silver gritted his teeth discretly, thinking through this. If he were to trust him again, he would just be further injured, as he would have learned nothing. If he didn't trust him, the Doctor would be proven right. Either way, he way at a loss. The doc had gotten the lesson across, and Silver understood it clearly. Which thoroughly annoyed him.

He was shocked when upon the elevator stopping an opening there was a bald man performing maintinance on his own disembodied arm. The clicks and noises around the cluttered room were almost unevering. Silver, having no idea about computers and what not, couldn't help but wonder what creature or machine would make such noise... or what the purpose was.

Repair.

All of a sudden a cloud of gray swarmed over his hand. It sure as hell looked like magic to him, but none like he's ever seen before. It sure didn't feel like magic, as he felt like bursting out in luaghter. In fact, he ended up luaghing a bit as he said...

"What the hell?"

As the cloud vanished, he felt no more pain or the tickleish sensation. In fact, there was no wound left at all. He marveled at his hand for a long moment, as if he expected it to suddenly burst back open. After he was able to think about what happened, he spoke.

"What the heck was that?"

Zhey are called Nanitez. Itz...very high tech. By zhe look on your face I can your confuzed so I vill say zhis. Zhey are tiny tiny machinez, vorking very very fazt. Zhey belong to my newest zon. Maxvell. Or as ve have come to dub him...M4X.

::He patted the bald man on the shoulder and gestured toward Silver with a smile saying...::

Zay hello to Mr. Moonblade.

::Considering what he was M4X both moved and spoke very smoothly. Infact for a human in general he was very smooth. He said every word in a calm friendly manner, only something...just something about his presense seemed...unreal. Perhaps it was the wires dangling from his arm and the complete lack of blood. Perhaps it was the eerie purple color of his eyes. Or maybe even the array of plugs from the base of his neck down to his shoulders and under his shirt from where his steam engines were once installed. But despite the friendly tone, and the friendy smile and the amazing skill with which he duplicated humanity...M4X was far from human. And for empathetic. Infact he was far from having any emotions what so ever. He spoke and waved saying.::

Hello Mr. Moonblade.

::And then returned to working on his arm. His arm had a slice in it and several sets of piston pumps and hoses and wires filled it as well as some strange bright blue liquid. It was similar to the way several hoses and tubes and some dark red substance...or in other words Viens, Bone, and Blood fills a human arm.

The Doctor spoke again, this time addressing M4X.::

Zon ve're going to need your particular area of...expertize in a moment to help Mr.Moonblade fix his antiquated vessel. Vhen you get a chance please come out front.

Yes father.

::Was M4X's only responce, and the Doctor nodded a satisfied nod and made his way toward Silver and gestured toward the Elevator, hinting that it was time to move on. Yes M4X's room was a place of many many technological wonders...but none were for now.

The Doctor would patiently wait for Silver to join him in the elevator before pressing another zeries of buttonz in the front panel and causing it to move yet again.

Slowly the elevator door would slide shut leaving Silver and the Doctor alone, as the Doc began to draw another pen from inside his lab coat...and again he made that ominous click, but much to Silvers relief, after drawing the pen and tossing Silver a smile, the Doctor drew a small notebook from his pocket and began to sketch or write, it was hard to tell. But after a few seconds of silence he spoke.::

So...how do ve get a rto zea vezzel...into zhe middle of the shore if it cannot fly?

Everything else was blank to Silver at the instant he heard the mechanoid's name. M4X... where has he heard that before. It wasn't a terribly long time ago. In fact, he knew it was before his first trip to latent, right around the time of...

...! Could this be... the android that aided us against Kraun and drilled us a passage into the sealed leviathan stadium?

Yes, Silver knew what an android was. M4X got into legnthy details about what type of unit and specifications about itself, and Silver took well note on it. Moving closer to the android, he looked hard onto its face. Though it was different, the resembalance was still there. He was positive this was the one.

"M4X... would you happen to be the one who helped us gain passage into the Leviathan Stadium when it was completely sealed by a supposed god?"

The last he seen of the android was shortly before the so called diety unleashed tornado winds. Silver wasn't quite sure what happened, but shortly before he was thrown towards a solid stone wall head first he remebered the pheonix saving all living things from the cataclysm.

M4X probaly wasn't protected becuase he's not truly alive.

Hmm....

::The sound escaped M4X's persed lips as he turned to face Silver once again. You would think from the look of him that he was "thinking". Though a processor of his speed really wouldnt require that much though to recall such a simple memory. Most of M4X's reactions were similar to the type of reaction you might get from a video character if you were to smack it and it were to act "angry" a video game character has no real emotions but only preprogrammed reactions to various stimulai that simulate emotions. M4X was no different, as he sat in "thought", with his arms folded and his right hand holding his chin, he wasnt actually thinking at all, but scanning.

His left eye with microscopic text was reading forth scans to his HUD.::

Designation: Silver Moonblade.
Age: Unknown
Race: Anomolous Humanoid/Arcanis Hybrid
Anomoly: High level of infections arcana present in blood, currently being countered by a overly abundant stream of AM fluid.
Threat Level: 23

Scanning Memory Bank Recording....

::In his mind, for a flash, a broken scene of a man much like Silver sitting in a dark tunnel which seemed to literally be falling apart at the scene as if it was just carved out of solid rock. The image was horrible like a TV with atrocious reception and covered in snow. Silver was speaking but his voice was only a broken set of vowels. The video clip lasted for about a second before the message appeared.::

Memory file corrupted. Negative Recollection.

::M4X blinked a bit and shook his and said.::

No, you must be mistaken Mr. Moonblade.

Thank you!

::Mary said jumping forward to hug Madison and squeeze her in her arms oh so tightly and the little stuffed animal. She pulled back with only widest smile on her face and saw how sluggishly Madi pulled off her glasses and clean them and so she reached forward and slid Madisons glasses from off her nose and scooted her toward the bed.::

You go to sleep now.

::With that she placed the glasses on the night stand beside Madi's bed and said kindly with a whisper.::

And we'll all be here when you wake up.
Slowly she quietly closed her eyes not thinking about even how slightly creepy Mary's last comment was. Her counciousness slowly swirled around her in the darkness in her thoughts as she soon fell into the world of sleep. She was completely now oblivious if her friend had left or not...but she didn't care...

All she needed was a good night's rest.

*~*~*~*~*~*

The feeling was cold but at the sametime it was warm, giving one a sense of numbness. The world around the young rabbit was now dark, dark and lonely. There was nothing that seemed the same, everything seemed off. But it was infact the world that she was in before...she had been here before.

"...Help Me..."

The voice was a gentle whisper, nothing more nothing less. Each syllable echoed about the room giving her a slight chill. The voice was comming from the distance. The voice countinued on, repeating the samething over and over again.

"...Help Me....Why didn't you help me?"

"I did help you though." replied Madison as she walked around in the dark room she was in. Honestly she has no clue what the voice was or who it was, but it sounded very simuluar. Finally from the left a figure seeped through the shadows. It was the boy from earlier that day. His eyes seemed as frightened as they always had been, when she last saw him. The sensation of fear filled her, she inched away alittle but remained facing him. With much struggle the boy stepped foreward with a stagger, his intestine dragged on the floor beside him as he hand was on his wound.

"...Why didn't you help me?"

"The doctor took care of you! I know he did! Either that or it was M4X! It had to be one of the two!"

"....You left me to die...." his voice sounded much more solemn and finally his eyes met with hers, the same amount of fear that could haunt a doctor for ages was staring at her. Madison slowly inched back away she wasn't a doctor, she didn't know what she was to do. But apperently this boy thought she was the doctor, a medical expert. Before Madison could reply the boy, he began to fall to the ground. As he was in midair and Madi screamed to catch him, racing towards him.

*~*~*

She shot up in shock and fear as though she was going to catch someone from falling. Cool sweat ran down her face as she looked around, the room she was in now wasn't the dark room she had seen the boy in but the room that was created by Marcel. With shaking paws she reached on the bedside table and put them on to look about the room. Everything in the room seemed rather quiet, rather still. It was defeaning.

Slowly, she stood to her feet and walked about the room, how long had she slept for? Hopefully not for too long that she missed out on something. She headed towards the oak door and froze, she couldn't wear on what she was wearing, the were sweaty and had alittle blood on them. With a sigh, she wandered over to the closet and looked about in it, what was she going to wear.

The large red and black gown was cathing her eye but she had no use to wear it, slowly she reached for a set of red dress pants and a white shirt with a black collar. Without hesitation she slipped off her old clothing and slided it on, oddly, it fit like a glove. She wished she could look in the mirror to see her appearance. Shortly after a few moment she also slided on the red jacket that she always tended to wear with every outfit.

Sastisfied, she headed out to see what exactly she could check out today in this fine building.

((Sorry it took so long. sweatdrop ))

((No worries Sis, I totally understand. 3nodding ))

::The hall itself was well lit as the lights had finally be installed. And a path down the hall with its white walls and red carpet, led directly to an open elevator which sat in patient wait for Madison alone.

There was no one actually in the elevator and the 7th floor button was already pressed it was only waiting for someone to enter and be delivered. The ride would go as per usual and as it reached the 7th floor the doors would opent to reveal what could possibily be the cleanest of all the floors.

The floors were white tile and the walls had the calmest blue wallpaper with painted snowflakes that one might ever see. The floor looked almost like a luxury sweet in a very very nice hotel. And down this hall well lit hall was a single wooden door from which alot of laughter came. The laughter could easily be recognized as the laughter of both a man and a woman. But whoever they were the red carpet which led from the door to their room seemed to be awfully inviting...::

He sat calmly. His legs folded close to him and his arms resting in his lap. His eyes were slightly glazed as he thought back. Not sure why but it was keeping him from worrying about his situation.

A young woman say in his lap, facing another young couple. The mans head laying in the womans lap as she ran her fingers through his light brown hair. Both men smiling affectionatly at thier partner. It was cold. Small soft flakes of white snow fell around them and thier breath caught in large white plumes. But they remained. Talking and laughing gently as they had fun. Both men happy and content. The women the same. It was all fun, all part of what had been a perfect life.

cutting off his thought he relaxed still a little 'out of it'. Not sure if he did want to live at the moment he remained where he was. Off in the far direction to his right he could see a slight glimmer. Either he was seeing things or there was a good amount of water in that direction. For now though...He remained.

::The hall itself was well lit as the lights had finally be installed. And a path down the hall with its white walls and red carpet, led directly to an open elevator which sat in patient wait for Madison alone.

Quietly the young rabbit walked through the dark hall towards the elevator, her mind still rested on the dream that she had just experienced though it seemed rather frightful almost as though a young child was terrified of the boogie man except that she wasn't facing a fear of an imaginary figure.

Madison wandered inside the elevator and leaned against the wall as though she was waiting for somebody, she had no real idea on where she wanted to go. But then again, she really had no destination. Her paws glided above the buttons debating on where she was to wander to this morning.

Well lucky for her the floor was already picked for her, a minor smile formed on her face as the large doors began to close. The ride didn't seem very that long for her mind was in constant thought about everything really, but at the sametime it was about nothing. The numbers passed one by one slowly as she yawned alittle quietly waiting for her destination.

Ding.

With much effort the Doors slowly opened with alittle creaking. Her eyes widened at the area of where she was, it had to be the cleanest room she had seen in the Hospital. Her eyes widened a bit more as she wandered through the area. She smelt the halls a bit that it seemed to have the smell of vanilla rather than anything, which was different considered the rest of the building smelt of...well...it smelt like death.

Slowly she began to follow the red carpet as though she was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, completely oblivious on where she was going. Her eyes kept wandering around the room, curious on how the room seemed so beautiful to the rest. Could it possibly be Marcel's area? That was a possibility considering on how well her room was put together.

Finally she stopped inches away from the wooden door. She wasn't exactly sure what to do, her eyes rested fixed on the door as she reviewed her possibilities. On one hand she could barge in and be extremely rude or on the other, she could knock and be kind. But for all she knew she could simply not be allowed to be there. She quietly rested in one spot debating on what she could do.

Madison sighed for a moment and then she began to inch alittle closer, only alittle. She was curious on what was behind it. Finally, being the one that she was...she lightly knocked on the door hoping that someone may possibly answer. And if they didn't....that wasn't exactly a problem either.

There she is!

::The female voice said and Mary leaned open the door revealing what looked to be a standard hospital room. On the bed was a boy about 18 years old with a set of many many bandages over his stomach, waist, and chest area. As well as a few sparse bandages over his arms and legs. He had nothing but the brightest smile on his face, and it honestly looked like he would jump up and hug Madi if it wouldnt snap open his stitches. His hair was a bright blue and perfectly trimmed and proper and cut, and beside his bed stood a royal blue suit which had recently been patched.

Mary, on the other hand was all smiles. And she made the introductions.::

Madi I'd like you to meet Karden. Well, technically you two already met but he wasnt exactly in a condition to speak, but he'd love to--

::She was kindly interupted.::

Thank you Ms. Mary, I'd love to thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me. I knew it was stupid of me to go outside without a weapon, and when the Warg attacked I was sure my life was over until I saw yo-

::He coughed a bit still suffering some internal through lascerations to his larynx.::

You. The Doctor says that some of the villagers donated "parts", I'm not sure what tha means. But I am sure that you saved my life, I you a debt of immense proportions and I will do whatever it is in my power to do, to repay you.

::There was just this moment of reverance where Karden waited for his gracious savior to speak. Something about him seemed...grand. Maybe it was his tone, maybe it his clothes, or his perfect diction. But none of that mattered at the moment.::

Madison remained silent and quiet as she walked into the room. Her eyes countinued to gaze at the poor boy's wounds. She didn't know there were so many, she thought it was only his stomach and ribs. Her small structured body stood over the bed and looked at him in the eyes with hers, trying to make sure that the expression had disappear that still haunted her.

"...You're welcome." finally stated the rabbit with a timid voice, she didn't seemed as enthusiastic as she had been since she had reached the Hospital. Her body language made her seem very simular to a five year old who was going to their first day of school. Her long snow white ears fell towards the sides to hide her face shyly, she was really nervous and yet she didn't understand why. Finally she shook her head and the long ears stood back up to their position, she looked at him again, she was quite glad that he was alright. That was the greatest thing for a doctor to see, that their patient was alright. That they managed to save such a precious thing as a life.

As he countinued to talk about how he wished to repay her, she didn't understand why that could be needed or what she would want. Was saving ones life even worthy of a reward? Or is it simply just something that you need to do once in awhile to make sure no one has to leave the planet when they are not ready.

"...You don't need to pay me anything...."

And with that she fell once more silent, not exactly sure what else to say.
