If you truely wish to protect then what you been doing up until now was nothing more than meaningless pity. She was very calm and serious If you let yourself be harm how can you know if that would indeed help? If you really want to protect you should be able to know that by harming yourself you bring pain to others. In reality you need to be able not only to have the power to defend others but also yourself. Rest assured thats why he wants you to go with us

Should he tried that we all are able to address the situation Nao was an example of this. In reality if it were the same all of us wouldve take the same path. Hey! its easier to back away and avoid it, Yet nothing is solved by going away. *She wasnt at the school yet she felt compelled to scold her* Have you ever thought what Seisuke felt when Ali did what he did? Pain can done phisically and mentally. I will put an example. If one of us wouldve died at his hand after you gave your blood what would you do? will you let him go? or you wouldve done something? Nothing would bring my friend and comrade back. I just want to know if it protected you or her from danger. *She fought in a war and knew that ziven wouldnt give a straight answer*

Ziven sighed lightly, thinking about everything. Reviewing the events of the evening, then the personal feelings for herself and the others. She dropped her gaze, feeling shy and upset. "Seisuke-ona said for himself that the sight of Ali biting my neck reminded him of when Ali did this to his family, it was the memory of the grief caused to them that upset him so deeply.
I trust that you, everyone in my home currently, are very capable of managing themselves though .. I understand what you have said. If one is to be killed and die, they are gone, and there is no undoing that. I have learned from this. I found that I am unable to trust Ali to act as I would expect. Not all things are controlled or logical as I would like them to be. Again, you have my apologies, not that it has any effect .. and my gratitude for listening and providing advice and logic." she said softly. Now feeling bitter and angry with herself.

She saw ziven and remembered"Dont despair the important thing is that you learned and aquired experience. You want to protect tommorow you will begin a journey like no other. I hope that you learn fast. Now lets enter your house im sure the dinner is ready already.She looked at her waiting for her response.

Ziven nodded, believing that they both had the mutual understanding that what happened to her was unimportant so long as she were able to survive and protect others. She walked across the lawn, making sure to keep a step behind Maria as they walked. Blue eyes watched the ground as they walked, her hands cupped behind her back. The first step she took up toward the porch, the door swung open. She motioned for Maria to enter before her, bobbing her head respectfully.

She entered only to see they were waiting for them to eat so she seated next to Shizuru. Seisuke was at the other end drinking a cup of sake. "Now we can eat. sit ziven-dono" Seisuke said there a conglomerate of dishes to suit the taste of everyone there.

"Ziven-dono?" she repeated, confusion clear on her face. The instant she questioned, she wished she had not as that would likely make everyone wait longer. Obediently she seated herself and lowered her head slightly. "My apologies for running off and my gratitude for waiting." she said quietly, waiting for everyone else to eat before taking anything for herself.

when ziven seated almost everyone at unison said "Itadakimasu" (custom word to start eating)" Then they started taking food and started
eating

Blue eyes widened with surprise as everyone spoke at once. "Itadakimasu? Why did everyone speak the same word?" she asked, curious as to why thy would say this. Timidly she selected several items to place on her plate but only drank from her cup once she filled it.

Shizuru*speaking in distinct kansai accent*: Itadakimasu is a japanese set word that is best translated as time to eat. It is said as a custom since Seisuke is the one that made the food we go by saying that custom in gratitude for the food
Seisuke nodded at Shizuru's explanation of the word. Since he is the only one that live in Zipang. It was only logical.

"I see, thank you. May I ask what dono is also? I like to know what words mean for future reference." she asked sounding rather timid. When living with her master, he once requested that she not question things to learn at the dinner table. Not knowing if this was custom in other homes or merely a personal request by him, she did not know.

I am unfamiliar with this language just as I am unaccustomed being referred to in association with any title other than student." she said softly, bobbing her head to Maya Blythe. Blue eyes then dropped, looking at her plate and the table before her, trying to hide that her cheeks had gone pink. Always having been a student or on her own as an adult, never having been referred to with an honored or respected title. Slowly she began to nibble on the various items that she had decided to try for dinner.
