Kindred listened with a somewhat interested, somewhat intimidated expression on his face. Justin had seemed to be a total jerk but was now being what Kindred assumed was his version of friendly.

Justin blurted out why Aiden and Tristan were here. Well Aiden's reason was somewhat obvious but Kindred was surprised to hear that Tristan had murdered someone. And then Justin asked Kindred why he was here. His stomach got knotted.

"Me?" he said. No, the idiot behind you. "I.. I had an episode... at a hospital." Kindred stammered before finally giving up. "I almost killed a nurse when she tried to hook up an IV." He said with a defeated tone. He wasn't proud of the things he had done. The nurse incident was only the one they caught him for. There had been others in the past.

"I'm kinda phobic about needles and hospitals." Kindred added, as if that explained everything.

Liam frowned. Allumen seemed like an okay guy, other than the fact that he felt the need to diagnose him with disorders. It only served to make him even more anxious about his residency here, as well as the fact that he was now somewhat -social- with the other tenants. To make things worse, he was going to have a roommate - disrupting his place of peace and quiet. He had never shared a room in his life, and he reminded himself of this fact. At least the other boy was probably still at the dinner table, talking it up and doing his thing... whatever that might be.

Opening the door to his single-turned-double-turned-triple, Liam was oblivious to the fact that yet another guest would be residing there. His shoes were kicked off against the wall, and he started to unbutton his shirt, which he now realized hadn’t been buttoned correctly. “Huh... oh well..” he murmured, before moving to his workdesk where he retrieved a nice promotional photograph of Hannah Blake and Lucas Jonathon - the stars of Another Tomorrow. “Well hello there, did you miss me?” He spoke, before he realized something was odd about the room. Something was different. Was it just that the other boy had already moved his stuff in? That couldn’t be right. Glancing over his right shoulder he found his bed, unmade and complete with a stuffed bunny shaped lump in the center, then he looked to the left, where he found not one, but two beds. “What the...” he began, unsure as to why the new boy would need not one but two beds. He had yet to notice the other presence in the room. Furniture, apparently, took priority.

The creak of the cabin door caught Gabriel's attention, causing slender brows to knit and develop a faint wrinkle upon his forehead. That must have been one (or possibly both) of the boys, but far be it from the adolescent to sit up and politely introduce himself right away. Instead, he chose to remain still upon the upper bunk, tired eyes straining to roll further to the side as if he may be able to catch a glimpse of the newcomer without the bother of turning his head. However, his silent observations were cut short as he was given that peculiar greeting. It felt as if someone had heaved a heavy stone upon his stomach, resulting in a terrible sinking sensation that burrowed all the way deep into his gut. Did he... miss him? What an awkward question. What happened to, 'Hello, my name is such and such'? Lips parted, though he was at a loss for words and, much like a fish out of water, he gaped for a moment before shutting his mouth once again. Lips screwed up into a combination between a scowl and a pout before he uttered his reply. "Um... excuse me?" His voice came from the shadowed top bunk and it would be another few seconds before he actually sat up and revealed himself to Liam, only to find he'd been addressing a piece of paper and not him. Oh dear.

His cheeks flushed with faint traces of embarassment and he lifted a hand, cupping it over the back of his neck as he struggled with a recovery. "Oh, I... um... I thought you were talking to... me." He managed a weak laugh, though it was noticeably forced. "... Liam?" Lucky guess. He turned, slinging his legs over the side of the bed so that they dangled alongside the ladder. "My name's Gabriel." His tone was soft, but this was largely to blame upon that brief bout of sheepish humiliation.

A shrill, girlish scream echoed throughout the dormitory, and any love Liam held for the people in his picture was thrown out the window as he held up the frame in front of him as if it would serve as some protection from the intruder. It couldn’t possibly be the new roommate, the count didn’t add up. He was half certain it was going to be Kindred - not that he had stuck around to give him detailed instructions to their residence. “WHO ARE YOU!?” He shouted in a terrified shriek, backing away as he remained hunched over, protected by a single photograph. He was too busy being terrified to have listened to the soft toned introduction. “I don’t have any money!” He continued, his built up anxiety leading him to be unreasonable in his assumptions. “Take my watch!” He didn’t make to take it off, but held out the wrist that bore it in all its platinum glory, “It’s a Rolex!”

Gabriel practically jumped out of his skin when Liam let loose that shrieking cry - thankfully, the ceiling was there to prevent that as his skull collided with the hard surface, resulting in a loud thunk, soon followed by a low groan. Cringing, his nose wrinkled as he lifted his hand to rub at the throbbing spot on his head, one eye squinting open to peer down at the crazy boy holding that picture out towards him as if it were a garlic-strewn cross and he was the vampire. Oh yes, here he was, to suck out all of Liam's blood!

"I.. I just told yo-... Listen, I don't want your wa-... Stop screaming!" Whereas he'd intitally attempted to calm the youth down, there was only so much Gabriel could take and he finally ended up raising his voice in blatant frustration. "I'm not here to rob you, damn it!" With that, he hopped down from the bunk with a heavy thud, shaking strands of hair from his eyes once he had landed. Crikey, this place really was full of loonies. With his luck, he got the worst one out of the bunch.

"Stop. Screaming." He repeated slowly, his head retaining that bothersome dull throbbing. "My name is Gabriel. I am one of your new room mates." He explained, tone having morphed from that sheepish politeness to a sharp, demanding sound. He extended his hand towards the cowering boy, not to take his watch but in a forced friendly handshake. "Are you Liam? Or Kindred?"

As he felt his hand being gripped, Liam lowered the picture frame, staring at the other boy with a suspicious eye. “Liam... Liam Ashton,” He introduces himself slowly, carefully. You never knew with these would be attackers. “But I’m only supposed to have the one roommate.” He wasn’t even happy about having one. He liked to be by himself, alone with his magazines and scrapbooks. “You’re not with a tabloid, are you?” It had to be his next question. After all, most people who jumped out from nowhere were 1. Criminals, 2. Ninjas or 3. Paparazzi. He already cleared up that he wasn’t going to rob him, and he didn’t seem to have the official ninja uniform on - so that only left the third option. “I’m just here resting after the attack. That’s my official statement.”

Gabriel exhaled in a sigh as Liam finally gifted him with a decent introduction. So, he had been right... and he'd also been right about all of the people here just being a bunch of holed up nutcases. "Alright. It's nice to meet you, Liam." He replied, doing his best to make his tone sound a little less biting than it had been before. "I don't know what the situation is with the rooms. Abby just led me here and told me to make myself comfort- no, I'm not with the tabloid." His voice faltered and became fairly monotonous towards the end, exasperation clear in his expression. If it wasn't for the fact his dominant hand was busy shaking Liam's, now would be the time where he face-palmed. "I'm. Just. Your room mate." He was trying to make this as clear as possible, however... it didn't quite seem to be getting through. "I'm not with a magazine or a newspaper or a television show and I'm not looking to take your precious jewels. In fact, I don't even want to be here."

Silence ensued. It was far better than the screaming, as it signaled that Liam was thinking about what he had just been told. “....Okay.” The photograph was lowered, then set back on the table. Something told him that he should probably apologize, but something in the boy’s head wouldn’t let him. After all, he was the one who was startled. Taking a step away, he opened up his closet, then picked out a pair of wrinkled boxers from the messy pile of clothing that was barely contained by it.

“Well... I’m going to take a shower...” he trailed off as he sized up his new roommate. He had to be doubled up with two guys he knew nothing about. It stood to figure. It was just like those movies where the kid gets sent to camp and nothing is like it looks in the brochure. “...No peeking.” Stepping into the bathroom, he began to close the door before he stopped, pulling the wrapped peanut butter sandwich out of his pocket. “Are you hungry? You can have my sandwich.”

That's funny, Gabriel thought, I could have sworn I was going to a camp for boys. His eyes followed Liam's movements as he lowered the photgraph and then made his way to the over-stuffed closet. Aside from the humorous assumption that Liam was just a flat-chested girl that had somehow gotten herself lost, the exposure of Liam's personal belongings caused the boy to pause. If Liam was as rich and well-kept as he seemed to be (and it was fairly obvious given the plethora of items at his disposal and the way he reacted towards a new face), then what was he doing here? Didn't these upper-class pricks usually have some well-known and esteemed doctor to take care of their psychological problems? And what on Earth could the boy be so plagued with that they'd send him to a cabin in the middle of nowhere, when he so obviously thrived upon the bright lights and glam of Hollywood? ... For a second, it almost made Gabriel nervous.

His thoughts were interupted by Liam's voice announcing that he was going to take a shower... followed by the instruction not to be a Peeping Tom. He snorted softly despite himself, shaking his head and lifting a hand to run his fingers through his tossed black hair. "Sorry, kid, you're not really my type." He assured him, flashing a brief smile towards him as he turned, facing him more directly. He was offering him food... and while he didn't think that Liam was here for poisoning people, he just wasn't sure if he was up to the task of finding out. "Nah, it's alright. I ate before I got here." He waved a hand towards the boy in dismissal of the offer. "You could leave it for Kindred, though, if he's hungry."

“Okay.” Liam responded passively, then reached over to set the sandwich down on the closest table. He then closed the door to the bathroom, only to open it again. “I forgot.” He explained, then walked back to his closet to search through his laundry pile. “I can’t just wear boxers with you guys here.” It wasn’t the same as having the place to himself, not that it was that good of an idea to sleep in your underpants when counselors and others could come into your room at any time. Finally finding a t-shirt with some sort of trendy so-cal logo on it, he shook it out - as if that would get rid of the crinkles in the cotton. “I guess this will work,” he mumbled, then turned to look at Gabriel. “Yeah? Okay to sleep in?”

Justin listened to Kindred with calm interest as he walked over and sat on the table rather than on the seats, his feet hanging over the edge idly. He seemed to disregard the fact that Kindred said that he had almost killed the woman and seemed to take more interest in phobias. "..At least it's not a stupid phobia like those kids who never leave their house and whatnot. Hell, no one likes needles. I don't blame ya. Especially if they don't get it in the vein the first time, I've even wanted to punch'em sometimes."

He paused when he heard a scream come from outside and his eyebrows lifted slightly before an amused look came over his face. "Hehe, see? You and I are with some real crazies. I mean, sure we have problems... but at least we havn't killed anyone or have serious mental issues going on like some of these guys..." He trailed off and then looked back to Kindred.

"So, who are you bunking with?"

Kindred glanced up at Justin as he moved closer. He guessed that this was what male bonding was. It made him mildly uncomfortable. Justin started in again on the 'loonies' they were stuck with. To be honest, Kindred had never considered himself crazy. Justin was right, plenty of people are afraid of needles. Kindred was 'normal'. But as Justin continued about the subject, the acid in the other's stomach churned up as a visual flashed through his mind.

The shriek snapped him back to reality. He looked up at Justin and stood. "Bunking? Oh, I don't know yet. Abby just gave me a room assignment." He stood for another moment, jamming his hands into his worn pockets. "I guess Ima go found out who I'll be living with until the courts find me 'suitable for society'."

Another awkward laugh and he left the cafeteria, giving Justin a weak smile and departing wave of his hand. Kindred sighed deeply as he walked and ran both hands through his hair, stretching his forehead and eyebrows upward. First day. He would have an ulcer after a month. Dead or in a mental ward after six.

His melancholy thoughts filled his head until he found his room. Looking at the number he opened the door. Inside he laid eyes on Liam and his stomach dropped. Of all the kids... he thought. He opened his mouth to speak but stopped when he saw Gabe. Two people already in the room. "Oh sorry.. must be in the wrong place." Kindred said, embarassed and closed the door. He turned to walk away but looked at the door number again. No.. it was the right room... He felt his cheeks flush a bit as he sheepishly opened the door. "Am I... is this my room?" he asked. He had mentally prepared himself for a double. But three was a crowd..

((yay, back from vacation! :3 Welcome to the group, Zvee! Heh, everyone's going to sleep, and Seamus has to wake up....night stalker, anyone? *dundundundun* lol))

After waking up yet again in his bed while remembering being somewhere completely different not two seconds ago, Seamus had decided to avoid the other guys for a bit. If they had triggered two episodes in less than that many days, who knew what else could happen? Although they all seemed alright.... none of them seemed like they would be horribly out of place in his high school. Except for Aiden. He'd stand out anywhere.

Seamus lounged around on his bed for a few minutes and attempted to read, but his growling stomach finally won out. It had seemed ages ago that he and the other guys stood about eating pizza..... maybe they were still there? Besides, he'd never had the opportunity to eat the slices on his plate. 'And I might as well socialize a bit more. I can finish Wicked later, especially since Orpheus doesn't seem like the type to have profound all-night conversations. Or any long conversations at all.'

He was halfway to the kitchens when he heard a random screech, as if someone had dumped ice water over someone. 'Or,' his pessimistic side suggested, 'if someone decided to attack somebody.'

He ran in the direction of the sound until it stopped. Then he ran even faster.

He was pretty sure the shrill sound had come from this hallway. Seamus turned the corner, and noticed Kindred at the end of the hall leaving a room, and then turning around and going back in. Suspicious. Thirty seconds later he was at the door, and without preamble he slammed the door open and shouted, "What's going on?!" He then noticed the three perfectly healthy, non-bloodstained, and fully conscious males.

He felt like a douche.

"Um....I heard a scream?"
