Broke concentration it seems since when Sylar's eyes moved his mother started falling again too. Hiro's control is still rather fickle since he still thinks it's dependent on the sword and not his own psyche. It's more likely that Hiro's own indecision caused his subconcious to negate his power, sort of like when he blocked himself after what's her name died, and give Sylar a fighting chance.

As for Mrs. Petrelli, it's possible she has powers. Her husband doesn't though. In the comic supplement, there was... I think a five issue arc where Hana reads a classified document that details when Mr. Petrelli met Linderman. They served together in Vietnam, Petrelli took a bullet in the chest and Linderman healed him. Petrelli's the one who taught Linderman the "to save many, you must sacrifice the few" ideal, before that Linderman was wishy washy like Peter. Anyways, they get in a fight before they leave Vietnam, Linderman basically throws rejects the ideology and they go their seperate ways. Several years later Linderman shows up on Petrelli's doorstep and they make a pact to work together for a better future. So yes, Mrs. Petrelli definitely knows Linderman since Mr. Petrelli was working for/with him.

Earlier Chromie and I were speculating on where Peter's dream powers came from. At first I suspect they came from Simone's dad since he had a similar prophetic/symbolic dream, but it's more likely that Peter got it from his mother since he was having those dreams even before he started his job as a nurse, which is where he presumably first met Simone and her dad (though Chromie insists that the father's in the conspiracy somewhere since it's his building everybody keeps meeting at). It's also presumably where he was getting his "twin-dreams" with Nathan and flying.


As Mala said, it seems to be manipulation of technology, specifically electronic technology. His talent doesn't seem to work with mechanical technologies, or if they do we've never seen him influence them. It's sort of like Forge's ability since he doesn't only manipulate, he can see how to make things better, though the making of better may only be because he can in a way converse with the machines.

You know it. heart I would like her so much more if she was a guro-projector.

This is, most likely, the most accurate guess/what will happen.

Oh I'm sure they have absolutely no idea that it's the little girl, or they would be a lot less gung-ho about the whole thing.

But yeah, Sylar finding that girl would have been insane.
