Erol places Amac in his sack, letting it be able to peak out. The Dwarf seems as ready as ever to move onward.
"I take it that the roads will be our travels. The horse seems a bit fast for either of us, especially myself. How do you propose we go paladin?"
Ebon flutters down on Erol's shoulder. Many mice will think much before attacking the grain again.

Ricril walks around from the other side of the inn, "Speaking of animals just popping up, I'm here." What passes for a broad smile for him crosses his face, "I thought I saw a very eratic trail that could have been a clue to those creatures last night. Though I found out the it turned out to be nothing more than a squirrel trying to drag a parcel of food nearly as big as himself back to his nest. So much for that. We venture to the south, eh? All my gear is together and I'm ready to go."

Erol tosses the green remains back to the forest of the late Amac. He realized too late ((and so did I)) that he had to put more power into it ((25 exp to be specific)). Erol shakes the matter off his hand.

((Spell lasted only temporaroly due to a RL errata that made it have a 25 exp cost. I just had it work as though I stopped concentrating, as he did do, believing it to existon its own, which it could have if it was given a true life spark.))
Erol shakes his head slowly, cupping it in his hand a bit.
"Pity that we don't seem to have more lore than jokes these days. You'd be amazed the number of jester books at the..."
Erol continues to ramble on a tangent softly for a minute, but notices that no person could possibly care and stops.
"So paladin, since I heard that you type lead well, and you seem to be in charge now, nevermind my ideas, which way are we going?"

Erol wonders at which part. He had though the part about parrots make seafarers wear eye patches because of their training needs was a bit bland, but soo realizes something. Then his mind wanders off again.
"They're just some books on clowning. Nothing fancy, just for an enclave to have twenty small books on clowning is a bit strange to me. Then again, they were rumored to have been started by a bard passing as a druid."
((That is really it. If bardic knowledge allows (DM's choice) you'd know it was started by a bard. Other than that, his description is more than most know.))
