Kasiya stayed in her room until she was told her clothes had all been washed and dried. She'd spent the majority of the time thinking, she gathered them up and repacked her bag, slightly enjoying the fresh scent of dryer-clean clothes. She put on her new outfit again, and fixed her hair, amazed she was able to get it almost like it had been done at the hairdressers. "Manegable indeed," she nodded, before heading back downstairs, refreshed. She grabbed her PokeNav from the table, and scrolled down to Mike's number, but hesitated. "Mom?" she asked, walking out to the livingroom where she sat watching TV with Adamantine. "Did Mike say what he wanted?"

"Only that he wanted to meet up with you, and to call him back," Mya smiled. "Not mad anymore?"

"Mom, I don't think I could hold a grudge if my life depended on it," she laughed a little, sitting down next to her. "But you're right. I thought about it quite a bit, and I probably should tell him." She looked over at Adamantine, and smiled. "Ada, I'm going to leave you here with my mom, alright? You take good care of her." The Larvitar blinked, and nodded, looking happy at the choice. "I'm going out to pick some stuff up. Don't know if I'll be back tonight," she added, heading over to hug her mother.

"Take all the time you need," Mya said reassuringly. "You're always welcome to come back home and see me."

"Thanks, Mom," Kasiya said. "I'm glad for that, really. Bye, Ada. You be a good girl, alright?" She leaned over and hugged the Larvitar, who looked slightly sad at first, but nodded. "Alright, I'm off." Kasiya got her things together and went outside, feeling a lot better about things. She felt like an almost entirely new person as she walked briskly to the Pokemon Center, and her ankle didn't even hurt as much as it could've. Knowing she'd be facing some tough battles soon, and that Koga specialized in Poison types, she sent Rosemary to Professor Oak, not knowing when they'd be switching again, and added both Seto and Digger to her party. Then, she resolved to call Mike. Soon. Any minute now.

Nina closed the doors to the Pokemon Center behind her as she stepped outside. She felt the rage slowly coursing through her body again, and she felt those terrible emotions being brought back up again. Anger, hatred, sadness, fury... they all seemed to be stronger than ever. She knew she wouldn't be able to defeat Giovanni by means of battle or physical or mental strength. She felt that tearing through his laboratory and destroying the work he had accomplished thus far would certainly hinder him, however. A moment later, Nina felt the wind pick up and blow her hair around.

"Wait," Nina said. "The trees aren't moving at all." She looked around, and then up to the sky to see a Charizard with passengers on its back slowly descending unto the land. An Ampharos was released from a Pokeball and started to eat some of the grass. Nina recognized the passengers instantly as they got off of the Pokemon. She smirked a little bit.

"Well well," she said, "it's been a while, Mike."

"It is just so funny that you said that," Nina replied, her voice sounding a cross between sweet and sarcastic. "You see," she continued, "I'm going there too! To the Gym, I mean." She cleared her throat, flipping her black hair back so that no strands hung over her shoulder.

"Normally I wouldn't be wasting my time in a place like this, but you see, one of Giovanni's minions took Sabrina's life. That's why she's not here with me, like usual!" And Nina proceeded to tell Mike everything that had happened in Mahogany Town, leaving absolutely no detail unmentioned.

When she had finished, she cleared her throat again. This seemed to be a new action she had adopted. "Originally, I was going to tear the man apart," she said, playing with a strand of her hair. "But, I thought about it, and I realized that would be stupid to do. After all, I can't defeat a man like that. However, I've decided that I'm going to destroy everything he's worked for and accomplished... And I'm starting with the Gym." She nodded in its direction. "For your own safety, you might want to, you know, go somewhere else. The Gym isn't a place for children, such as yourself." A sarcastic smile danced on her lips for a moment.

"Well, yes," Nina replied in her faux sweet tone, "I do believe I am calling you a child... You're immature, hyperactive, lacking in the intelligence department..." She let out a little sigh, wearing a cutely sarcastic expression on her face. "And above all else, you can't even tell Flannery that you love her." The Psychic looked over to the Gym Leader, smirking. "That's right, honey!" she said. "Mikey can't tell you this himself, so I'll do it for him-- he loves you!"

Nina turned her gaze to the Charizard that started to growl at her. "No, no," she said. An outline of dark blue encompassed the Charizard's body, and Nina made it take a few steps backward. "You stay there," she said, as if she was talking to a two-year-old.

Mike felt like a dagger had gone and stuck him clear in the chest. "You...you-you little BRAT!" The boy felt his internal temperature rising as he clenched his hands into fists. Fire shot out of his gloves, covering the ground in a blackish soot. He nearly ripped a Pokeball from his strap, calling out Xanthos. "I can't believe it. After all that I've done for you, after all the times I've helped out you go and take these cheap shots! I never asked for anything in return, ever, and this is what I get?!"

The Crawduant sensed the anger in the air, and liked it. Taking a step forward, he clasped his claws together and let out a cry. "Xanthos, you're my insurance. Something’s wrong with my friend and I might just have to knock some sense into her."

His temper flared at the comment towards Flannery, he looked back, shaking out of either rage, embarrassment, or both. "D-don't listen to her, she's just..." Without even finishing the trainer turned around, smoke pouring out of his gloves. "You better watch it Nina, no one has ever seen me mad before." His hat was pulled down and his hair was frizzed, covering his eyes. Mike grit his teeth, a look of sheer hatred spread across his face. The crab Pokemon stepped away, even he was intimidated by his trainer's fiery temper.

Nina didn't seem to be the least bit intimidated by Mike. She tilted her head ever so slightly and looked at her friend, smiling ever so slightly, and her eyes seemed to soften. "Now now," she said, "you should put those back before you hurt someone, like yourself." A moment later, her gaze shifted to the strange crab Pokemon that Mike had released. "Now, what in the name of--" She blinked. "That's not a Krabby..." Taking a step back, Nina eyed Xanthos warily for a moment, then ignored it.

"Listen, Mike," Nina said, "I'd love to stand around and chat all day, but I've got a rather important matter that needs to be attended to. I'll be more than happy to speak with you later, however." A sweet smile was flashed at her friend, before she casually turned around and started to walk toward the Gym.
