Ah...the lovely dilemma of KuramaYukina. I consider myself to be a sort of "fair-weather fan" when it comes to this pairing.
Why? Because I love canon, and therefore KuwaYuki is just awesome. So in more canon-based fanfiction, I would hate this pairing.
However, in AU fanfiction and other certain circumstances, this pairing actually works somewhat well due to similar personalities. Kurama and Yukina both possess that artistic grace, the reserve of hidden strength under a placid facade. I think they would get along very well if canon did not exist.
So...love it sometimes, hate it sometimes. Oh well.

Oooh...here's one:
Keiko/Hiei
xD That one bothers me just a little bit. xDD Maybe it's my disliking for Keiko, and my liking for Hiei. And the weirdness of Hiei stealing Yusuke's girlfriend. xDD I dunno.

Hiei x Keiko I believe stemmed from when he used that sword on her...it would be a master x slave relationship...

Even if Hiei didlike Keiko, I doubt the feelings would be reciprocated. Keiko's fiercely loyal to Yusuke.
But outside of canon, I don't think they're compatiable either. I mean, their personalities clash, as do their lives and interests.

The only similarity I see is possibly devotion/loyalty to those they care about...otherwise I doubt they could get along...as much of the series as I've seen, the only time I've seen them interact was the Shadow Sword episode.

Well, you know what I do see working, in a non-working kinda way?

Shishi/Suzuki. There'd have to be a way for it to start, and since we barely know them, we can guess that their narcissism can bring them together. HOWEVER, it would then destroy them. Buwahahaha. Because theirselves would come first. *nods* And neither could handle not being top priority. There's also the becoming famous thing. xDDD They would be at eachothers throats over who's better.
I need to write a fanfic. xDD I haven't ever written a YYH fanfic before....*thinks*
